Virtual commissioning of production system
Bražina, Jakub ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with virtual commissioning of production system which is located in the laboratories of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the BUT. The issue of virtual commissioning is described in the theoretical part of the thesis, followed by a description of each device located in this production system. The design of the 3D model, the design of the PLC control program and also the virtual commissioning itself are described in the practical part of the thesis. There is the creation of the robot‘s program described at the end of the thesis. Several Siemens software tools were used for virtual commissioning realization (TECNOMATIX Process Simulate, TIA Portal and PLCSIM Advanced 2.0).
Design and implementation of Industry 4.0 testbed functional modules
Podrabský, Tomáš ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
In this work I deal with the project of an automated robotic bartender, whose task is to show model concepts such as virtual commissioning, digital factory or industry 4.0. The work resolves two parts (cells) for the overall construction. Individual cells are solved from the design and realization of the construction through the virtual verification of operation to the design and realization of the control itself for the given cells. The construction solution was created in SolidEdge ST10. Virtual verification will be solved in the Tecnomatix Process Simulate program and the implementation of PLC and HMI control by Siemens is programmed in the TIA Portal. Wiring diagrams were drawn in the student version of the EPLAN design environment. Other colleagues work on other parts of the barman project.
Software for Formal Testing of PLC Program
Sýkora, Ondřej ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyzes the testing techniques used in the IT industry and applies them analogously to the machine industry - specifically PLC programming. In this work, a test application is designed and implemented. It’s purpose is to find errors created by a PLC programmer or PLC code generator in the TIA Portal environment project. The application can find and detect up to 10 different errors. It is a windows form application, developed in C#, using the open interface of TIA Portal Openness. Subsequently, its functionality is tested on a small test project with a known number of errors and also on a large company project with an unknown number of errors.
Control of conveyor belt for testing room
Lorenc, Michal ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The work deals with programing of conveyor system, controlled by PLC. The first part is analysis of the controlled technology a describtion of required function. The following is an introduction to the programming environment, PLC, sensors, actuators and controls. Second part is a proposal for the solution of the function of the conveyor system and its implementation. Then the whole system is tested, evaluated and suggestions for improvement are submitted.
Optimization of a production line
Štoudek, Marcel ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the problem of rubber production lines and their possible elimination. The next step is the point that will be devoted to the design of a possible improvement of the line to increase efficiency, the software I worked with will be described, the hardware that was used, and in the final part the source code for the control system, which is designed for very precise frame positioning in one part of the line.
Communication between PLC S7-1500 and relational database
Novotný, Jiří ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with the communication methods between the PLC S7-1500 and the database system and it focuses primarily on the possibilities of direct communication, i.e. without the need to use additional software. The thesis presents many of the available solutions, both commercial and freely available. Subsequently, attention is paid to the actual direct communication solution. A solution will be proposed and a~simple application will be implemented demonstrating direct communication between a~Siemens S7-1500 PLC and a Microsoft SQL Server database system. The communication is based on the TDS communication protocol. The implemented application allows direct communication with the database using basic SQL language commands. This solution is competitive with the most currently used indirect communication methods.
HMI application for Android using OPC UA
Hurník, Jakub ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the connection of the laboratory model of the drilling machine, creating a model task for this model and implementing the Android operating system into Raspberry PI. The theoretical part describes the communication standard OPC UA and outlines the possibilities of creating the HMI application. The practical part includes creation of program for PLC in Tia Portal environment, implementation of Android to Raspberry PI, development of HMI application and functionality testing.
Simulators of balls and trunks laboratory models in Control Web
Chalupa, Petr ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis are creation of two program, able to simulate and visualize actions on laboratory models sorter logs and dosing balls. These models are used to learning PLC programing. In first part is deal with program Control Web. The next part describes both of models, their schema and functions. The following part describe creation and work of program, which I made. The last part of this work is deal with connection both programs with PLC by using MODBUS.
Virtual commissioning of the CNC milling machine tool changer
Procházka, Jan ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is the virtual commissioning of the automatic tool change for the MCV 754 Quick CNC milling machine with the Sinumerik One control system. In the first part of the thesis, research in the field of CNC machine tools is presented with a focus on automatic tool changing. The second part of the thesis deals with the actual virtual commissioning procedure. The procedure maps the setting of all necessary parameters and configuration of individual programs to achieve successful virtual commissioning. In addition, the thesis describes the principle of communication between the programs (Create My Virtual Machine, TIA Portal, NX Mechatronic Concept Designer). The thesis concludes with a full virtual commissioning of the automatic tool exchange, an evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of virtual commissioning in the software NX MCD and recommendations for practice.
Digital commissioning of a robotic production system for foam seal application
Kracík, Lukáš ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the design and digital commissioning of a robotic system for foam sealing application. The research review section of this thesis describes the issues of offline robot programming and the subsequent digital commissioning. Additionally, a survey of available equipment in the field of robotic application of tape material was carried out. In the practical part, conceptual designs of the robotic workstation were proposed. The chosen design variant was constructed and subsequently digitally commissioned using Tecnomatix Process Simulate, TIA Portal and Robot Studio software.
