Comparison of offensive hand combinations to signal in male and female handball.

The work is focused on speficic handball property, offensive combinations on the signal. It monitors the differences between the concepts of individual combinations within men's and women's handball. The work was created thanks to the study of theoretical source and by examining the video records of each match. The researched teams are playing in the highest league in the Czech Republic, which are men's STRABAG Rail extraliga and women's MOL liga. The first part of the work describes basic facts about handball using its characteristic, game rules or systematic where individual game activities, game combinations and game systems belongs. The research part analyzes through video records every particular game combination on the signal playing by examined male and female teams. Similarity between both categories, efficiency or importance of game combinations for whole offensive part of the match is examined here. Then are these indicators evaluated.
Relationship shooting velocity and accuracy in handball on beginners level

Title: Relation between throwing velocity and accuracy in handball on elementary level Goal: Throwing effectiveness in handball can be influenced by many factors. Throwing accuracy and velocity are considered to be the determinative factors. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to explore the mutual relation of these parameters in case of handball players on elementary level. The field research was realized in the handball club Lovci Lovosice in age category of 12-13 years old players. Methodology: In terms of this bachelor thesis, two field researches in the interval of two months were realised. These field researches were realized in the handball club Lovci Lovosice in the age category of 12-13 years old players by using a hand-operated radar device The Stalker Pro 2. The research was performed only for one type of throw, specifically the one-handed overarm on the spot throw. Both throwing velocity and accuracy were traced within the research mentioned above. Statistical data processing was performed in Microsoft Excel 2010 using one-tailed statistical test. Reflection of change of rules in the way of women's top handball playing performance

Title: Reflection of change of rules in the way of women's top handbal playing performance. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is the analysis of playing short-handed during the offense in chosen women's teams at the 2017 World Women's Handball Championship. For the purpose of the thesis I have chosen only parts of matches when a team plays short-handed with six attacking players against six defenders. Methods: I tis a quantitative research, where my focus is on evaluating the number of goals while playing short-handed. The data obtained will be enriched with the use of the qualitative research. Results: I have found out that, in the teams observed, a game without a goalkeeper during the attack phase in penalty can be applied in any stage of the match, since the chance of conceding a goal into an empty handbal goal is extremely low. Such a game influences the game-based performance and also influences result of the match. Management and satisfaction of judges in the Czech Handball Federation

Title: Leading and satisfaction of referees in Czech Handball Federation Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to illustrate the current structure of referees' management in the Czech Handball Federation and to determine the satisfaction of the referees and the governing bodies with the existing system. Methods: In order to meet the stated goals, quantitative research methods are used, namely electronic questioning of referees. Furthermore, qualitative research, including an in-depth interview of a member of the Referee Commission of the Czech Handball Federation. Results: The results showed small gaps in both satisfaction and refereeing system, which were supplemented by recommendations for improvement of the current situation at the last part of the thesis. Title: Concept of marketing communication of the Czech handball federation Objectives: The aim of this thesis is create a project presenting proposals for the improvement of the marketing communication of the Czech handball federation. These proposals will be based on analyzing and evaluating the current state of the marketing communication of the Czech Handball federation. Methods: The necessary data for this thesis was collected by qualitative methods. These methods include an analysis of relevant documents, a semi-structured interview with communications specialist of the Czech handball federation and structured interviews with active players and fans. The theoretical part was completed by a study of academic literature. Results: The result of the thesis is the proposal of the new marketing communication, which is based on the found strengths and weaknesses of the current one. The proposal is based on the real possibilities of the Czech handball federation. The proposal is mainly composed of financially low-cost tools - online marketing, PR, and sales promotion. The reflection of the minor sports in the Czech News Agency press service

The diploma thesis The reflection of the minor sports in the Czech News Agency press service deals with news agency coverage of sports which do not belong to the most watched in the Czech Republic: basketball, floorball, handball and volleyball. Author describes the development of the sports journalism's position within the journalism in general and also within the society in the theoretic part. He also deals with the particular types of the text and audio-visual news services which are produced by the Czech News Agency. The research was focused on the Czech minor sports' leagues as well as on other international or national competitions since June 2017 to April 2018. The news service is divided into specific categories (usually pre-season period, regular season and possible qualifying/relegation rounds or play offs and play outs) in the domestic leagues research. Author of the thesis compares the position of the individual minor sports among each other and also deduces the position of the minor sports compared to major sports like football or ice hockey from the quantified data. Title: Evaluation of the most frequent injuries in competition of league MOL and the 2nd league in women handbal in Czech republic. Objectives: The main objective in this work is evaluation of the most frequent injuries in women handball players, who play in season 2017/2018 the highest competition in Czech Republic - league MOL and the 3rd highest competition in Czech Republic - the 2nd league in women handball. The next objective is find out, if the teams have in their training unit the regenerative and compensatory practise, also there is physiotherapist in team or no. Methods: As the method for data pooling, I choose the form of a non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was send between all women handball players in both competition, which are written in objective. Overall is analysed 112 questionnaires. Results: From the results, we can see, that for the most common injuries belongs to ankle. Overall 56,3 % suffered the injury of ankle, then injury of hands (50,9 %) and knees (46,4 %). Smaller group of injuries belongs to the of face, head, shoulders and elbows. Wings and lineplayers has the most common injuries of ankle, on the other hand the middle lineplayers, backs and goalkeepers has the most common injuries of hands and knees. Title: Development of swinging power of upper arm. Objectives: Verify a program to improve swinging power of upper arm in a female handball team. Methods: During the experiment I used methods to improve swinging power specifically plyometric method, speed method and kontrast method. Title: Assessment of muscle imbalances in handball players Objectives: The main aim of this work was to evaluate the occurrence of muscle imbalances in the handball players of the first - league team of woman by means of the kinesiological analysis and segmental analysis from the BIA method. Methods: In modified kinesiological analysis, we focused on assessing posture and examining shortened muscles. To segmental analysis by the BIA method, we used the Tanita MC - 980 apparatus, where we first assessed the asymmetry in the distribution of muscle mass on individual body segments. Results: In 80 % of the total, the upper cross syndrome was recorded. Lower cross syndrome was found in 67 % of the players. The results of segmental muscle mass analysis using BIA showed a statistically insignificant difference (p > 0.05) in the distribution of muscle mass in the upper limbs (average difference of 0.05 kg) and a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) in the distribution of muscle mass at the lower of the limbs (average difference of 0.11 kg). Title: Professional Competencies of Czech Handball Federation Staff Objectives: The aim of this work is to assemble competence profile of the Czech handball federation employee. Furthermore the goal also is to analyse the importance of perception of this profile's individual components from this institution's employees' point of view. Methods: Gathering of the necessary data for processing the topic is reached via the method of source study in order to create the competence profile. For the questioning was used the method of electronic questionnaire created strictly for the purpose of this work, and also the method of semi-structured interviews. Results: The research has provided and evaluated the list of competencies that are necessary for profession performance within Czech handball federation. Also the key competencies for particular departments of this institution were identified and the structure of this institution was described and examined.
