Cooperation of schools and external partners on the development of environmental awareness among students
Frýblová, Jitka ; Veselý, Arnošt (advisor) ; Hiekischová, Michaela (referee)
This master thesis is concerned with current issues of educational politics, namely the integration of environmental aspects into the curriculums of grammar schools and high schools. Environmental education, and awareness raising has appeared in schools following the introduction of the framework education programme as one of its cross-curricular subjects, reflecting new social needs. While there lies a great potential for the development of our education system within cross-curricular subjects and framework education programmes, these also introduce new requirements for teachers, who are not always quite prepared for dealing with them. The introduction of external partners into education is one possible way of dealing with those requirements, as these external partners have many years of experience with ecology oriented education programmes and their methodical specifics. The presented master thesis familiarizes the reader with the individual forms of cooperation among schools and external partners and tries to generalize its pros and cons and outline the possibility of engaging external educational partners in teaching subjects other than environmental education. The paper deals with a multidisciplinary topic in which the findings of public policy, pedagogy, ethics and ecology intertwine. The...

In my diploma thesis I am concerned with the regulation of legal remedies with regard to the use of two principal correction systems - appeal and cassation system. The purpose of my thesis is to give the theoretical explanation of these two systems, the overview of their practical application in the czech legal system and a brief insight into the austrian legal system. Administrator of decedent's estate
Čejková, Jana ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Salač, Josef (advisor)
The legislation governing rights of inheritance is based on the principle that an inheritance is received upon the death of the testator. However, before assets which form the subject of the inheritance are received by the heirs, inheritance proceedings take place before the courts, the result of which is a resolution which confirms receipt of the inheritance by the heirs. Until this resolution is legally passed all heirs who are to receive an inheritance are co-owners of the entire inheritance. A long period of time may elapse from the death of the testator until the end of the inheritance proceedings, in which it is often necessary to secure those assets of the testator which, given their character, require permanent management, e.g. the uninterrupted operations of an enterprise and other rights and duties related to other property. The topic of this dissertation is the institution of the administrator of the property of the deceased. From certain points of view this is a relatively new institution, which permits parties specified by the courts or the testator to manage the assets or part thereof included in the inheritance until such time as the inheritance proceedings end. To begin with I give an outline of the development of legislation and describe the substantive law provisions of this institution...

Antirisorgimento in the works of F. De Roberto, L. Pirandello and G. Tomasi di Lampedusca
Graeberová, Michaela ; Pelán, Jiří (referee) ; Flemrová, Alice (advisor)
This thesis looks at the ltalian antirisorgimento by way of examining three important Sicilian novels: Viceroy (1 viceré) by Federico De Roberto from 1894, The otd and the Young (1 vecchi e i giovani) by Luigi Pirandello published in 1913 and The Leopard (ll gattopardo) by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa from 1958. In the initial chapter, historical and political development of risorgimental and postrisorgimental Italy is outlined, from the 1848 revolutions until the end of the 19th century. The situation in the southem part of the country is emphasized in particular, as the change of regime in 1861 and the unification ofItaly did not bring many positive aspects there. Next chapter discusses the relation of our three authors to the period in which they were composing. We were interested in the ways the epoch influenced them and how their personal experience was reflected in the analyzed texts. Further works by the writers, if relevant to the antirisorgimento, are mentioned too. The main part of the thesis represents an analysis of motifs and topics the novels have in common and how these reflect the antirisorgimento. lt also takes into account a shift in perspectives of individual authors - there is a gap of more than sixty years between the publication of the first and the third novel. We also looked at the...

The purpose of my paper was to outline the time of appearance and development of the sugar refinery industry in both central and northern Moravia and Silesia on the basis of the historical and current literature and utilisation of the archive funds of MZA in Bmo. The thesis covers a time period from the first half of 19th century till the year 1948 when the sugar refineries were nationalised. I have divided my paper into several chapters following the establishment of single sugar refineries in Moravia and Silesia. The sugar production expansion started by the foundation ofthe first sugar refinery in Kostelni Vydfi in the year 1829 and by the continuous sugar production development starting with the aristocratic establishments, the enterprises owned by the wealthy entrepreneurs and following up with the small fanner's stock sugar refineries, whose stockholders were the Czech fanners. The second part of this paper is dedicated to one of the most significant and most modem small farmer's sugar factories in Moravia, which was located in Nemcice nad Hanou. Ego mechanism of defense in alcohol-dependent patients
Červená, Helena ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee) ; Šípek, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this dissertation was to examine the Ego defense mechanisms and defense styles in alcohol-dependent patients. First, we introduced the phenomenon of Ego mechanisms of defense, presented the brief history resumption, outlined the major topics of clinical research interest and described the possibilities of use of defense mechanisms analysis in a clinical practice, particularly in diagnostics and psychotherapy. The Oefense Style Questionnaire (OSQ 40) was used to examine a sample of subjects (n=60) with an alcohol-dependence diagnosis. Bivariate correlation analyses yielded these results: the alcohol-dependence in women was correlated with mechanisms Idealization, Projection, Oevaluation and Isolation of affect, whereas in men with mechanisms Suppression and Isolation of affect. There was no relation between this syndrome and certain defense style approved. These results confirmed the psychogonical etiology of the above problem in women and suggest the connections with neurotic, depressive disorder, borderline and narcissistic personality disorder. In men, the possible connection between the mechanisms Isolation of affect and antisocial personality disorder is expected.
