Šilhánová, Julie ; Opletalová, Lenka (referee) ; Soukup, Václav (advisor)
The subject of the dissertation thesis is the advertisement and gender and social inequality among men and women as a phenomenon of the consumer society. Special attention is paid to the definition of the gender roots, historic introduction to the gender, creating of stereotypes and biologic and cultural determinisms. Thesis is referring to gender not only as an expression for feminism but also as a phenomenon with anthropological background from perspective of advertisement and consumer influence. The work is comprised of three separate parts. In the first part that represents the theoretic exposition of the whole work I define the basic terms that create conceptual scope of the elaborated theme. Attention is mainly paid to the historic background behind the start of the advertisement, beginning of the mass media, their typologies and characteristics. In the second part, the attention is turned to the issue concerning the gender in the advertisement from the culturological perspective and in the third part towards the empiric knowledge of this issue as an important means allowing the reflection of two different genders. The work puts a special emphasis on understanding of differences between genders presented in current media. For practical reasons, the content analysis was reduced to the pilot study of...

The rise and fall of Russell's 1910-1913 theory of judgment and Wittgenstein's philosphical beginnings

The exercise of the state's rights and duties in the airspace in the light of public international law
Kobera, Václav ; Ondřej, Jan (advisor) ; Hofmannová, Mahulena (referee)
108 THE EXERCISE OF THE STATE'S RIGHTS AND DUTIES IN THE AIRSPACE IN THE LIGHT OF PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL LAW The space above the Earth was the lawyer's examination subject matter already in ancient times. The air which we breathe, as well as the water from the sea, was considered to be a thing common to all (res communis omnium). However, as far as the movement and life in the air were concerned (here we can use the term "airspace"), a different rule was used. This rule said "he who owns the land, owns it up to heaven" (cuius es solum, eius est usque ad coelum). This conception of the airspace still had not much in common with today's conception based on its practical use. It is obvious that society then could not have assumed reasonably (because of the level of its technical development) that mankind was going to be able to use the airspace. The origins of proper use of the airspace we can only date to when the Montgolfier brothers constructed and launched the first hot air balloon (1783 in Paris). Initially such activities were considered to be rather curiosities but they gained respect very quickly especially when used during armed conflicts in the 19th century performing espionage and bombing tasks. At the beginning of the 20th century the Wright brothers successfully tested the first heavier-than-air...

Absoption in mathematics and orientation towards mathematics
Kmínková, Eliška ; Rendl, Miroslav (referee) ; Pavelková, Isabella (advisor)
In the beginning of my dissertation me and my supervisor set out several objectives. We concerned ourselves on incentives factores acting prejudice in favour of mathematics and incite orientations for mathematics as well. Various kinds of interests (individual, situational, actual, special-interest), achievement motivation, flow experience and perceived capability for mathematics. We prepared two various lessons of mathematics for the students in graduation class of gymnasium - the first one conventional, the second one experimental, alternative method. We concerned ourselves in students' preferences - which classwork is convenient to successful 1 sudents in mathematics and which one to students which go badly in maths. Next objectiv was observing the group of students "orientated on mathematis", preparing themselves for leaving examination in mathematics and preparing themselves for study in faculties where is this subject is one of the major. What influences the love for mathematics? Situation interest - we took of both from lessons comparison by the students and of their flow experience during lessons. Students' flow experience was almost similar in both lessons, though a little bit better flow experience had students in conventional lesson. The students has been enquired which kind of lesson was better...

The Swedish Asylum Policy
Afrámová, Martina ; Druláková, Radka (advisor) ; Zemanová, Štěpánka (referee)
Sweden is well known for its generous asylum policy. However, it has to deal with deepening social, integration and institutional problems as a consequence of an immense influx of refugees. The bachelor essay is divided into four chapters: At the beginning, the first chapter describes briefly the evolution of the migration-asylum policy until 1989 and then it describes in detail the current Swedish asylum policy. The second chapter deals with the integration policy and its importance. The third chapter analyzes the problems Sweden has to face in the area of asylum policy. The social and integration problems in Södertälje, one of the Swedish most problematic cities, are used as examples of such a challenge. The last chapter outlines the probable future development of the Swedish asylum policy.

History, Presence and Future of Exchangeable Formats of Bibliographic Data
Rösslerová, Klára ; Vlasák, Rudolf (advisor) ; Sklenák, Vilém (referee) ; Drobíková, Barbora (referee)
This dissertation focuses on the data exchange bibliographic formats that have been used in the libraries since the 1960s. There have not been many changes over the decades although librarians have been calling for them. Since the beginning of the new millennium, there has been a growing pressure for change. The aim of this dissertation is to try to summarize the activities in this field and to outline possible future development. The formats used in the past and in the present are analysed in the first part. It is possible to predict the future development on the basis of the analysis of individual projects and on the basis of surveys. The results of the analysis suggest that these activities are headed to a linked data publication model that preserves the current cataloguing procedures. Keywords: exchange formats, bibliographic data, MARC format, MARC 21 format, linked data, BIBFRAME, Schema.org, cataloguing
