The effectiveness of advertising in the hotel “Holiday Inn Almaty”

This Diploma Thesis is focused on the evaluation and study of the main features of advertising in the hospitality industry. The first part is a theoretical part, which describes in detail the definition as advertising, media advertising, promotional function. Further detailed adertising types, their advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part is the presentation of the hotel "Holliday Inn Almaty". This part describes in detail the structure of the hotel, SWOT analysis, advertising activity by hotel. Another part of the analysis survey research, which based on advertising. The questionnaire focused on the advertising strategy and evaluation of the hotel altogether. The final section presents recommendations for improving advertising business and conclusion is about the advertising business of the hotel "Holiday Inn Almaty".

The main objective is to depict the business environment of Chile, using an example of a real business case. The first part concentrates on PESTLE analysis of Chile. Second part focuses on the conditions of launching and running a business in that country. In the third part a hotel project is analysed and relevant conclusions are drawn.
Problematics of hotels promotion and analysis of specific hotel

Diploma thesis deals with the problematics of promotion in the hotel industry. After defining theoretical knowledge, it is demonstrated on specific practical example, the internationally known hotel in Prague. The practical part includes an analysis of the actual promotion of the selected hotel, where the emphasis is put primarily on communication on social networks. Subsequently, this promotion is compared to competing hotel. At the end, on the basis of the conclusions, there are presented recommendations and proposals for the marketing campaign of the hotel.

Bachelors project is focused on acquisition of the asset and repositioning into hotel. Hotel is built into the area in the boat. It is situated in St. Petersburg and its environs in the Russian Federation. It includes reconstruction plan by 90 beds and a restaurant for 150 guests. The cash flow of the hotel and the restaurant is forecasted and estimated for 2 years. Profit before tax in year one is expected to be at 27.471.070 millions, and in year two 32 464 900 millions roubles. The payback Yield is estimated at 33.3%.

Profit before tax in year 1 is expected to be at 8.98 millions, and in the second year 10.62 millions roubles. The payback period is estimated to be 8 years.

This diploma thesis deals with marketing communication of the company Top Hotel Praha. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the literature research. In the beginning there is a description of what marketing means and what are its instruments, afterwards the thesis gives an idea about the various marketing communication instruments and everything connected with it. Marketing communication instruments include advertising, personal selling, direct marketing, public relations, sales promotion and on-line communication. The practical part of the thesis describes the company briefly. The diploma thesis also analyses the marketing communication instruments used for the hotel in particular. Marketing communication instruments are examined through the knowledge of the hotel environment. At the end of the practical part of the thesis the author suggests forward steps for marketing communication for Top Hotel Praha as a result of the former findings in the thesis.
Analysis of coffee sales in selected hotels in Prague

In this thesis the sale of coffee in selected hotels in Prague will be analysed, based on information obtained in the drink menus of these hotels. The theoretical part consists of three main parts, namely The market and the market mechanism, Classification by type of prepared coffee drinks and The classification of hotels into five classes. The first part, called The market and the market mechanism, explains market and its functioning, perfect and imperfect competition between companies and, in the end also imperfections of the market. The second part of Classification by types of prepared coffee drinks discusses the ingredients and the proper preparation of a wide range of coffee drinks. The third and last part of the theoretical part called The classification of hotels into five classes, points out the basic limit points for dividing hotels into each of these categories. In the second part, which is called The actual work representations of hotels in the Czech Republic, in Prague are examined and compared. There is also a list of the selected hotels in Prague, which are taken into account in the analysis, comparison and subsequent assessment of results. In the conclusion, the difference in prices of offered coffee drinks in randomly selected hotels in Prague is assessed from two points of view. The first is examining the differences in prices between classes of hotels and the second one is examining differences in prices inside the particular classes.
Evaluation of marketing communication for hotel Klášter Teplá

The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the instruments of the marketing communication in the hotel and to develop the suggestions for its improvement. The first part is devoted to the theoretical knowledges about the marketing and marketing services. It is based on the study of secondary data. The second part is focused on the analysis of the current instruments in the marketing communication. The results of the analysis are the recommendations for its improvement and the efficiency that should lead to increase the occupancy and improve the whole economic situation of the hotel. There are the implements suggested to be used by the hotel management at the end of thesis.

Bachelor thesis deals with internal communication at Amadeus hotel, located in Aktau, Kazakhstan. The main goals of this work is to analyze and define the main ways and channels of internal communication within the hotel. Partial aim is to define the main communication skills of managers and their importance in the company. Yet another objective is to establish guidelines for communication manager with subordinates (internal communication). The work mainly used the following methods: a literature review of the theoretical part, analysis of internal communication at the polling staff to determine the details of the setting of internal communications at the hotel and effectiveness of this communication.
Hotel heating using biomass

The theme of this bachelor‘ s thesis is using biomass for heating in the theoretical part and hotel heating using biomass in the calculation part. Project is solving one-floor hotel building with restaurant and rooms where we can make food. Building is situated in village Vír. The heat source for this building is biomass boiler. The heating surface consists of steel panel radiators. Buildings is ventilated naturally.
