Konekcionistický model episodické paměti pro virtuální lidi
Burkert, Ondřej ; Kadlec, Rudolf (referee) ; Brom, Cyril (advisor)
The goal of this work is to design and implement a prototype of the episodic memory for virtual humans. The memory is inspired by up to date research on function of human memory for personal events (episodes) and human time perception. We design a model of memory based on this theoretical knowledge. We took as the point of departure episodic memory system and decision making system of Peskova. The decision making system is based on the BDI, theory of affordances and AND-OR trees. The former episodic memory suffered deficiencies in the recall for time-cued questions. Thus proposed model is working with a unique subsystem for the time perception which allows for more realistic storage and recall of past events. The agent enhanced by this model can reply to questions like "What did you do last week afternoons?". The prototype is programmed in Java using the framework Pogamut 2. Pogamut 2 is connected to the complex continuous 3D world of Unreal Tournament 2004 which allows us to verify the design in the challenging environment. We have conducted several experiments. The results show that the model extends agents cognitive abilities with a capability to understand socially established temporal patterns. That allows him to answer to the questions with a vaguely specified time information. Moreover, the memory...

Czech POINT: monitoring of citizens' needs or interest group?
Karlík, Pavel ; Minárik, Pavol (advisor) ; Stočková, Olga (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on implementation of the Czech POINT system, Czech Posting Testing Informative National Terminal, into existence. This application should simplify common administrative processes in communication with institutions such as Trades Licensing or Land Register Offices. The thesis is based on the special interest group theory and searches for the answer to the question whether the Czech POINT application is as revolutionary simplification for user as presented or whether it is only a result of successful lobbying of the creators of the system. The aim is to uncover the effectiveness of the running Czech POINTs and determine whether the main interest in the system functioning is on the part of its users or of its suppliers by monitoring and comparing. This research shows absence of influence of interest groups whose activity could initiate to create the system. Satisfied users are satisfied voters and that has surely fulfilled aim of political authorities.

What Has Government Done to Our Money : Do we necessarily need the Central Bank?
Jandová, Daniela ; Antoš, Ondřej (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Pavel (referee)
Based on inspiration of F. A. Hayek's book "Denationalisation of Money" and a book "What Has Government Done to Our Money" written by Murray N. Rothbard, this work wants to show how can a market with several currencies work. These authors from Austrian school introduce little controversial and for many people unimaginable theme to have banking system without the key role of Central Bank. This also closely related with Hayek's reason of business cycle, which he find in continuous interference with monetary reserves. The work controverts a topic, if it is not just the central banks and a system, which allows fiducially issue money, which caused the actual crises. The point, if a monetary policy of central banks has only caused fluctuations of economy, is still actually. This baccalaurean work deals with questions like: How did the Government interfere with sphere of money? Should we leave the Gold Standard? Would a competition between banks issuing their own currencies work? and many other.

Geographical Aspects of Football: Migration of Professional Football Players
Kolanda, Ondřej ; Tomeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Bičík, Ivan (referee)
Geographical Aspects of Football: Migration of Professional Football Players Ondfej Kolanda The aim of the thesis is to provide an integrated view on the international football migration, in particular within the European region. The first part therein summarizes some of the key writings on the subject matter. Furthermore, it provides and overview on the general and even some more particular theories concerning football migration and tries to sort out factors affecting migration in to basic categories. The second part aims to introduce the history of football migration patterns from the time of difusion from England to continental Europe till recent decades. The history introduction represents a fundamentalpart for further understanding of present migration flows. The main topic of pivotal exploratory chapter deals with the migration flows and their progress. At the centre thereof have been included series of analysis concerning migration flows, their changes in space and time during last two decades, anomalies and some important economical-geographic questions arising among the expert communities and from time to time even within the public's discussions. The whole analysis is based on a Transfermarkt portal database registering over 80,000 transfers since beginning of nineties. The particular...

Study of exotic hypernuclei
Posolda, Petr ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Kvasil, Jan (referee)
The thesis focuses on the study of properties of exotic hypernuclei, particularly of beryllium, carbon, oxygen and neon isotopes with and hyperons. Calculations were performed in the framework of the relativistic mean field theory (RMF) where a (hyper)nucleus is treated as a system of Dirac spinors (nucleons, hyperons) interacting via (mean) meson fields. The exotic hypernuclei were considered as axial symmetric. Up to now, hypernuclear calculations have been performed under assumption of spherical symmetry. This work thus extends hypernuclear calculations to the region of exotic, generally deformed systems. For the above nuclei, the numerical calculations of the binding energies and root mean square radii were performed. Moreover, we studied influence of the tensor interaction between meson and hyperon on the spin-orbit splitting. The results confirmed that the presence of the hyperon increases values of the binding energy of a system and on the contrary, it decreases its root mean square radius. We studied the possibility of the existence of the hyperon bound states in a nucleus. For the above isotopes, no bound states were found for the + hyperons. On the other hand, weekly bound states of the - hyperon are predicted for several isotopes.

Civil Society and State, Comparative Study of Classic Thinkers about Civil Society and Hannah Arendt.
Nosková, Monika ; Skovajsa, Marek (advisor) ; Muhič Dizdarevič, Selma (referee)
Designed as a comparative study, this master's thesis aims to contrast some of the classic political philosophy thinkers with Hannah Arendt thought on civil society in oder to present what makes her theories new and beneficial for the further development of civil society. By analysing some of the ideas of the representatives of different trends it introduces to what degree they influenced their followers, opponents and Hanna Arendt's thought.

The Theory of Self-Domestication in German Anthropology and Biology till 1945.
Stella, Marco ; Komárek, Stanislav (advisor) ; Sklenička, Petr (referee)
Concerned with the theory of self-domestication, claiming that humans have morphological, anatomical, physiological, behavioural or psychological traits typical for domestic animals, this master's thesis attempts to describe how anthropological and biological stories speaks to people and how people are shaped by them. Has given rise to eugenics and racial hygiene, the idea implicit to this theory that the practice of animals domestication and cultivation can be applied to humans, is still relevant when speaking of genetic engineering.

Theory and Practice an the Competence of Graduate Nurse Working in the Surgical Ambulance
Černá, Jana ; Dvořáčková, Ivana (advisor) ; Dostálková, Šárka (referee) ; Drašner, Ivan (referee)
Theory and Practice an the Competence of Graduate Nurse. Working in the Surgical Ambulance This bachelor thesis deals with the contemporary situation and new trends in health service - in the branch of nursing. It presents and evaluates theoretical assumptions of further development of a graduated nurse in new conditions. The empirical part is aimed at identification of the conditions for the work of a graduated nurse and to recognize whether the current legislation enables such a nurse to work individually, concretely in surgical ambulance. The thesis concludes that graduated nurses are allowed to work individually and separately conformably to the laws, and patients and insurance companies take concern in their work. On the basis of this fact some questions arise: Why is there a problem to implement it in practice? Do we really take care in graduate nurses?
