Philosophical and Theological Concept of Value with Respect to Ethics in Social Work

This diploma work is focused on the concept of value in social work. First I analyzed both Czech and foreign literature dealing with ethics of social work. Having found no satisfactory definition of value in that actual literature, I tried to clarify it. In the 3rd chapter the theories of value of main proponents of axiology and their predecessors are discussed. The concept of value of Dietrich von Hildebrand is discussed in detail, because it is the best theory for the purpose of the ethics of social work according to my opinion that is explained in the chapter 4.1. From this point of view I commented values that can be found in the Code of the social workers. In the last chapter I try to suggest the theological approach in the value discussion on several biblical texts and their interpretations that can be used in practical Bible work with people in social or pastoral work.

Advertising in Arabic media

My diploma thesis deals with the analysis of advertising in Arabic media, in particular in Arabic TV stations, such as MBC1, MBC2 and Dubai One. It is based on structuring advertising with respect to content and aim of the statement, i. e. classifying advertising either as product advertisement, image advertising, or social advertising. The thesis studies the advertising style in the fields of lexicology, morphology, and syntax; it however looks also at promotional strategy and persuasion methods. Arabic TV stations broadcast advertisements intended for global promotion, as well as advertisements focusing on the Arabic world and its public. In these advertisements manifests, a range of specific features rooted in culture and religion appears. The paper also deals with the issue of manipulation and deception in advertising, where they are used as one of the persuasion methods. My diploma thesis is based on the stated literature, on advertisements themselves (particularly on TV), on web pages, and also on discussions with people working in advertising. The thesis includes a DVD containing TV advertisements, which makes it possible for the reader to see for himself the advertisements which are being analyzed.

Sources to recognition of the prehistoric settlement of Levý Hradec

The thesis is a literature and archive documents based summary of the settlement development at the Levý Hradec from the Neolithic to the movement of peoples period. It attempts to present structured information on the archaeological excavation on the site and is focused on their relevant contribution to the understaning of the prehistoric site settlement. It puts Levý Hradec into a broader context of the settlement in the region in the respective periods.

Betina Dürk: Importance of the OTC drugs - mainly the attitude of the elders The studies focused on self-medication, mainly with respect to the OTC drugs form one of the principal issues of the socilal pharmacy, mainly in he biggest group of the drug users - the elders. This thesis continuates a line of studies that have been performed at the Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy of the Charles University in Prague - Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové. The aim is to gain data from another country which is the West Germany, the München region. The observation was provided during the 2008/2009 period by means of the questionnaires and the analysis of the database of the participating pharmacy as well. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with social pharmacy as a branch of science. It includes the review of the development of the German pharmacy - mainly the pharmacy practice, ageing of the population and the social policy. The issue of the need and consumption of drugs in the elders is underlined. Autor: Jana Hamerníková Title: Atopic dermatitis - therapeutic methods Thesis Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Specialization: Pharmacy Objective: The aim of this thesis is available through a search of both domestic and foreign literature to analyze the current knowledge regarding the skin disease atopic eczema and to look at possible ways to treat this disease. Main findings: In our work, we describe the basic characterization of healthy skin, definition, incidence, etiopathogenesis, risk factors, forms, complications, diagnosis, treatment and proper diet in atopic eczema. The treatment is divided mainly on the external, physical, internal and alternative. The basic approach for the treatment of atopic eczema should always be individual and complex that is appropriate for your treatment and respect of good lifestyle. The treatment is always external, which can be combined with more severe cases of internal or physical therapy. Alternative medicine is the use of more marginal. Conclusion: Atopic eczema is incurable skin disease. Properly selected the correct therapy and lifestyle we are trying to dampen only the symptoms and reduce the frequency of relapse.

1. TITLE OF THE THESIS Jump training in volleyball in young-age categories 2. ABSTRACT AND KEY WORDS The problem statement: The requirements for the jump height, i.e. the level of explosive force of legs in the vertical direction, are great in volleyball. Therefore, it is necessary to develop this movement ability already in young-age categories that are best disposed for it and where the highest efficiency increase may be expected. To stimulate them properly, various means may be applied; however, at the same time many principles of young sportsmen training must be respected. The aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to focus on the issue of jump development in young-age categories. Moreover, we would like to present various options of particular means and methods in current training of these categories. Finally, we would like to offer other options which may be used for the development of this movement skill in volleyball. Talent Management

This assignment aims on the differences between the theory and praxes in managing of talented workers. The first part of the assignment is elaborated on theoretical base only and it is focused mainly on explanation of "talent" and "talent management" expressions. Further on the first part describes specific areas where the accent in talent management is necessary. The second part on the contrary to the first part deals with practical issues, processes and programs of the IBM. With respect to the company's size it is necessary to have the talent management precisely prepared as a part of company strategy, which is accomplished as a company's routine not only as a paperwork. This part contains process description of talent identification, selection, development and also retaining talented workers. Single area descriptions are completed by pictures and tables to make it well-arranged. In this section there are partly compared praxes with the theory. There is shown confrontation among theoretically defined areas and processes of talent management and IBM's areas and processes of talent management. Also important is different understanding of "talent" between theory and praxes. The third part summarizes findings and conclusions based on the confrontation between practical and theoretical parts. The fourth part evaluates actual topic of world financial crisis and its impact on the field of talent management mainly from benefits and bonuses for talented workers point of view.

DISERTAČNÍ PRÁCE ABSTRACT ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ NÁMOŘNÍ PLAVBA, 1948-1989 CZECHOSLOVAK OCEAN SHIPPING, 1948-1989 2016 Lenka Krátká This work is concentrated on the topic of establishment and development of the Czechoslovak ocean shipping in the period 1948-1989. The theme is presented with using a large number of primary archive sources and relevant secondary literature. In addition, the text offers an insight into the topic through the memoirs of former Czechoslovak seafarers collected with the use of oral history method. The primary aim of this work is to capture the history of the Czechoslovak ocean shipping in a broader context of political, economic, and foreign policy development of Czechoslovakia in the given period. A key moment for founding a merchant fleet represented the year 1948, the communist coup d'état respectively, when the country came into the sphere of the Soviet Union's influence and transformed its economy into a centrally planned one with the absence of market principles. These specific circumstances enabled to develop a transport sector which Czechoslovakia did not have either natural conditions, or practical experience with. Marketing concept management of development projects

The diploma thesis provides a comprehensive view of marketing activities of development company with already implemented development project Panorama City in Bratislava. Marketing attributes are important part of development projects with orientation of their customers, build their image, acquisition of market share and competitive advantage in the real estate market. All the above mentioned facts are analysed within my project The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the strategy of the development project and looking at managing principles and strategy direction of other already implemented development projects. The main aim of is based on the facts from particular analyses to consider right or wrong seepage respectively find the best possible option for the management of the company on the market that develops along with potential customers. My project is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on familiarization with the basic concepts and processes in the area of construction the development process, analyze marketing environment and marketing strategies used in the construction using technical and scientific literature. In the second part-practical one focuses on analysis of specific Slovak development company and its already implemented a development project, and drafting strategies for marketing in the project. By applying a number of analyzes, which are blind, Porter and SWOT analysis highlight the results and findings after which it can be concluded any new variant of solution management direction and useful for other projects.

Financing of Cadastral Office for the region Olomouc

This thesis is focused on the topic of financing the organizational division
of the state. The topic of this thesis is an analysis and an evaluation of the economy
of the Cadastral office for the region of Olomouc in years 2011-2015. The evaluation
of the economy is based on a detailed analysis of incomes and expenses in the monitored period. Based on the outcome of this analysis the author will then propose precautions
to improve the economy of the Cadastral office for the region of Olomouc. The thesis contains an analysis of collecting the administrative charges depending on the maintnance expenses and a proposal of an optimalization of the height of these charges with respect
to the overall effectivity of using the state funds.
The first part of the thesis is focused on a research from specialised literature, where there is an explanation of the problems linked with financing the public sector, public funds or the economy of the organizational divisions of the state. In the second, empirical part there are the chracteristics of the author subject of choice and
the information gathered is compared with practical application in the chosen subject of
the administration, with the goal of proposing an optimalization to improve the economy.
