The dictate of beauty as a subject-matter in the prose with a teenage heroine

The thesis is focused on the genre o f literature for girls. It examines how the dictate of beauty is reflected in the novels for girls and what changes were made in this matter during the last fifty years. The thesis gives an overview of topics that appear regularly in novels, of the thematic development of the genre and of the changes that occurred during the last five decades. A significant part is devoted to a character, its composition and transformation, as well as to the effect of beauty, which is reflected in how the character is perceived. The thesis is completed by an analysis of the display of beauty in specific works of A. Santarová, I. Hercíková, S. Rudolf and L. Lanczová. In order to illustrate the current average reader o f this literature genre for girls, the analysis of a questionnaire submitted at a secondary school, a high school and at the forum of Lenka Lanczová's website is added.

Performance measurement and its use in projects

This paper aims to meet several goals. Firstly introduce performance measurement to the reader and give him basic idea of this subject. Next goal is to present some of methodologies used in performance measurement, compare them and discuss their suitability for use in ICT project management environment. Finally this paper points out differences between business and project performance measures. Then it presents usage of several business methodologies in projects.

Cross-border cooperation as one of the factors of development

The beginning of the work describes problems of the border regions in general. It outlines the opportunities for development of these areas and mentions possibilities that are offered by European Union within the framework of economic and social cohesion. It also briefly mentions the Financial Mechanism of EEA and Norway. Although, the list is not exhaustive, it gives a picture of what options the regions have. Another part of the work is solely dedicated to cross-border cooperation in the Czech-Saxon border area in light of European subsidies. It compares the previous and the current period in terms of objectives, implementation structures and last year also in terms of drawdown. It refers to what potential the Czech-Saxon border area has and -- based on questionnaire survey - tries to determine how the representatives of municipalities in Czech-Saxon border area perceive the cooperation and where they see the major problems.

Specific speech development of autistic children and development of communication capabilities of autistic children

The objective of the final work is analysis of logopedie intervention in autistic children in the Vysočina region. The work offers an overall view of the care in the region, its possibilities, conditions as well as deficiencies. The whole work is divided into the theoretical and practical part and five chapters. In the first chapter I am dealing with defining the term of autism, terminology, etiology, occurrence and diagnostics. In the second chapter I am summarizing the knowledge related to the problem of communication with autistic children. The information was obtained by studying specialized literature and using practical experience. Problems are analyzed here as well as the basic forms of communication and its development. In the third chapter I am describing the system oflogopedic care of autistic children in the Vysočina region. The thesis further gives an outline of individual facilities that provide the care. I concentrated on special pedagogy centres and the data about clients with autistic spectrum disorders. In the fourth chapter I am presenting the research, its objectives, proposed hypothesis, used methodology, place of investigation and characteristics of the research sample. Acquaintanceship of the catholics with the problem of assisted reproduction

How informed are Catholics about assisted reproduction Infertility is on the increase and alongside this problem thre has been a growth in the number of clinics offering assisted reproduction mainly in the developed world. More and more people who are unable to give birth naturally are deciding on artificial insemination. The goal of this thesis was to find out the standing of the Catholic people with regards to this phenomenon, how much they are aware of it, what is the source of their knowledge and how much they agree with the church's teaching. The first part introduces the techniques of reproductive medicine and, in particular, their negative circumstances. The following part describes the research whose focus was groups of Catholics in Prague, outside Prague and also students at theological colleges. Financial analysis of LDM, Ltd.

Dissertation is divided into two major parts -- the former is dedicated to theoretic approches to financial analysis, the latter to application of previously gained knowledge in a company. The introduction of work is dedicated to the purpose, usage and approaches to financial analysis with respect to various users of the analysis output. Moreover the document in a very detailed way deals with sources of data for financial analysis processing including weak points and their reflection in ability of calculated indicators of the financial analysis (FA) to give evidence. The most attention is of cource paid to individual steps in thorough financial analysis -- ie. vertical and horizontal analysis of statements and calculations of proportionate indicators including indicator examples from separate spheres of the analysis. Systems of indicators -- parallel but mainly pyramidal, concretely Du-pont's model is used. Dissertation thereinafter is devoted to another indicators that are useful for appreciation of the financial company health, concretely Altman's model, Kralicek's quicktest, Index IN and economic value added (EVA indicator). Comparision with branch of activity that is the company work in is a part of dissertation too. In the second part of the work, a specific company is being analysed -- in successive steps meant in the previous part. After statement analysis and calculations of proportionate indicators, I evaluate to what degree the company is successful. Simultaneously the results can indicate that outputs from the well elaborated financial analysis are of a very useful source of information for company management.

Adjusting the television picture and sound in newscast to make it more difficult to identify people (newscast of Česká televize, TV Nova and FTV Prima)

The Diploma Thesis deals - within its theoretical part - with situations in TV news, which require conversion of audiovisual content to achieve involved person's anonymity. Ethics codes of analysed television stations are major factor in this part, also included as secondary support relavant studies, reference books, laws and edicts. Conversion of audiovisual content is necessary - speaking of victims of crime (mainly violent or sexual offense) and theirs relatives, children, suspects and theirs relatives, anonymous sources, some criminalists or other vulnerable persons. Practical part of the thesis applies gained informations to analyse audio-visual recordings - broadcasted by Czech TV (Česká televize), TV Nova and FTV Prima. Study reflected diffrences between conversion of same situations and same persons. Study also reflected some ethically controversial moments. Several reporters gived an interview to comment selected news.

Criminal aspects of Child Abuse

This thesis on the topic of criminal aspects of Child Abuse is trying comprehensively to introduce the issue of child abuse primarily in association with CAN Syndrome. Child abuse is very dangerous social phenomenon, mainly because the victim is child who is considered to be defenceless and trusting being. The Child Abuse and Neglect Syndrome has several forms of abuse and that is what makes it even harder to discover and early intercept not just for uninitiated society but even for specialists. The expert knowledge of this issue is still behind to where it should be. That also reflects on the legislation. Even though it is trying to deal with this problem there are still certain shortcomings, which should be improved. This thesis is divided into sex chapters. First chapter concentrates on the term CAN Syndrome itself and on his evolution. It also includes statistics on victims of different forms of CAN Syndrome. Second chapter contains single types of child abuse and forms in which they can be manifested and observed by the environment. The third chapter deals with the offenders in different types of child abuse. What might be their characteristics and what life situation could lead them to commit criminal act. Using modern technology in economic education

The bachelor thesis ,Using modern technology in economic education, is focused on a problem with integration technology (smarthphone, tablets and others) into a normal economic classes in high schools. First, technical part, describes each individual device and different kinds of operating systems they use. Second part describes results from other researches about similar topics. Third, didactic part, is focused on didactic technology, e-learning, m-learning a new theories in education. Fourth part includes my own research about using modern technologies by students and teachers in high schools and brings analysis of discovered information. Final part gives practical recommendation for pedagogical practice in teaching economical subjects.

Audit of process management

The thesis focuses on Audit of process management. In a section Current issue, the basic terms related to the topic of thesis are defined, for example audit and its purpose in enterprise, procedural audit, process and process management with applied methods included. Furthermore, the theoretical part gives an explanation about terms connected to quality and relevant standards of ISO. Selected and monitored enterprise for this thesis is a construction company XY which deliveres turnkey constructions. The company is certificated with ISO norms 9001. In analytical part the author will provide a procedural analysis which is base on conversation and cooperation with liable employees. In these analyses the up to date process will be identified as well as evaluated. Then the author will evaluate the current process of output product´s quality by chosen analysis. The author will also make a review of economic performance of the company in relation to up to date process that are currently taking place in the company. Afterwards, the comparison of adjusted process with ISO 9001 requirements will be made. From acquired findings which will come out from previous analysis the author of thesis will make a proposal to leading which contains simplification of the process, the aim is to increase performance. The author will bring a statement in every single section and refers to prevention. The author suggests to perceive a quality as the most important factor of success to achieve customer´s satisfaction which brings higher profit at the end.
