Analysis of the Italian Labour Market
Kadlecová, Kateřina ; Filipová, Alena (advisor) ; Zeman, Jiří (referee)
The thesis consists of two main parts: descriptive and analytical. The descriptive part focuses on providing the readers with information about the main characteristics of the Italian labour market. It provides not only statistical data about the labour market but also describes the key instruments and provisions of the Italian social and labour policy. In the analytical part, conclusions from the descriptive part are drawn, several critical issues are pointed out and proposals for improvement are presented. Due to the complexity of the topic, the thesis concentrates on depicting an overall image of the current situation at the Italian labour market. However, it does not aspire to provide details on all range of questions related to it. As a logical consequence of the fact that hardly any information in the Czech language on the topic stays at disposal, the thesis is based on the information and data presented mostly in Italian, possibly in English language, by Italian and international (non-)governmental organisations.

Augustinová, Šárka ; Soukup, Martin (referee) ; Ortová, Jitka (advisor)
This diploma thesis is based on the presumption that the cause of today's imbalanced situation of the culture of the West is entailed in its neglect of mostly spiritual and afiliative components of our cultural code. The thesis is mostly based on the work of P. A. Sorokin, who saw the cause of the crisis of Western culture in its prevalent sensitive components and on the other hand in the deficit of spiritual ones. In the following chapters the author is focusing on the situation of religion in today's Western culture and on the issue of ethics for contemporary civilization. As a solution to current situation she finds necessary to return to those values that stood at the birth of Europe, which in fact, in today's language, are the values for sustainable way of life. The author comes to the conclusion that contemporary Western culture needs overall overhaul of its sociocultural system, in which the spiritual values should play greater role once again.

Faculty cooperation for teaching languages
Poradila mi, jaké doplňkové učebnice si koupit, kde hledat zajímavé články a vůbec mi dodávala odvahu k této nelehké práci.

Romanies and health care
Čížková, Marie ; Havrdová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Boženský, Jan (referee)
This thesis is engaged in health provision problems in non integrated Romany population who live at the low social level. This is the qualitative research focused on practices and beliefs associated with health provision (it means family treatment, prevention, adherence to physician recommendation, ....), a different perception and a communication with health care providers. Romanies do not practice prevention of illnesses and they come to the physician when a disease is far gone. Usually reason for seeing a doctor is a pain. Romanies fear serious diagnosis and an invasive examination or treatment. Romanies are very emotional and it gets manifested in their behaviour. They ventilate their emotions without scruples. A different perception, a style of communication, a low level of education and a hard approach to information have an influence on a level of health provision in some Romany population. The key to positive change is well developed communication between the health providers and Romany patients and their families. It means not to expert language, to explain everything comprehensively and clearly, to be patient, to support feedback from the patient.
