Relation between dynamic strength training and insuline resistence
Jedlička, Martin ; Štich, Vladimír (advisor)
Insuline resistance was described by Reaven as an early causation of metabolic syndrom. Nowadays many specialists use for this disease term Syndrom of Insuline Resistance. For this illness is typical the postreceptor resistance mainly manifested in muscles, liver and fat tissue. What is the main reason of etiology IR is still the subject of many studies. The fact is, that the epidemy of this disease is closely connected with low physical activity and growth of obesity. Appropriate election of training load affects the basic problem-hyperglycemia (especially postprandial). The absention of motional activity reduces the sensitivity of insuline receptors for the third or half. On the contrary- well used motional activity increase this sensitivity. Dynamic strength training raises the portion of muscles mass and proportional growth of insuline receptors. The best results provides complex therapy which includes physical activity, dietologic intervention and restrict of nourishment.

An Analysis of the Time Spectra in the Organizational Work of the Headmasters/Headmistresses of Nursery Schools
Boubelíková, Ivana ; Hladký, Jaromír (advisor) ; Černíková, Helena (referee)
Efficient use of time and the right organisation of the work of executives in nursery schools is made possible by increasing the duality of their work in terms of all the organisation and people affected by it. The time management method represents one of the modern tools of executive work. Its knowledge and practical aplication also enables to achieve a greater work effeciency in nonprofit organisations. In the environment of the sample studied, the method is still not very widespread and common. The sample contained organisations of different size und number of pupils. An integral part of the work is the evaluation of the research which covers the awareness the school executives have of time management as well as how they use some of its principies in practice.

Negotiation: horizons and barriers of psychological analysis (research of relation in interpersonal area)
Půda, Ivo ; Wagnerová, Irena (referee) ; Riegel, Karel (advisor)
Negotiation can be defined as the joint decision making between interdependent individuals with divergent interests. Whenever two or more people gather to exchange information with the intent of changing their relationship in some way, we can say, they are negotiating. Failure to negotiate constructively can have tremendous consequences for a variety of social and economic outcomes. The opening part ofthesis traces conflict theory, short history ofthe psychological study of negotiation and definitions of negotiation short overview. The further part reviews emerging research areas, each of which provides useful insight in to how negotiators subjectively understand the negotiation: mental models in negotiation; how concems of ethics, faimess and values define the rul es of the game being played; how the selection of a communication medium impacts the way the game is played; how negotiators organize and simplify their understandings; rehirth of social factors in the psychological study, including social relationships, egocentrism, motivated illusions and emotion. How culture affects negotiation processes and outcomes and how psychology can contribute to diplomacy is closing theoretical part. Critical in the development and outcomes of negotiations is the social value orientation - the preference for certain...

The sculptural work of Jiří Seifert
Hlaváčková, Jitka ; Wittlich, Petr (referee) ; Lahoda, Vojtěch (advisor)
The present thesis focuses on sculptural work of Jiti Seifert and its evolution within the context of Czech and European art of the 2nd half of 20th century. It contains a detailed study on sources of inspiration and circumstances of Seifert's work as well as sculptor's artistic curriculum. The latter is divided into three main periods following the evolution of his artistic activity. Due to sculptor's personal engagement, these periods match closely with the recent political history of Czechoslovakia. The 1st period, that comprehends the author's seek for own artistic expression, dates since the beginning of his studies at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague and culminates in the abstract artworks inspired by Jean Arp and Henry Moor. Its final point is marked by the execution of the Belfry for Jan Palach (1969) sculpted during the symposium in St. Margarethen, Austria. It is also during this event when Seifert meets Karl Prantl, an Austrian sculptor who influences him in his work forever since. The 2nd period that is marked by the limited possibility of realization extends between the years 1970 and 1989. On one hand Seifert turns back to the private world and looks for inspiration emerging out of personal life and feelings while, on the other hand, he also gets new impulses from pre-historic art and...

Comparison of enterprise environment in Germany and in small open economy in Central Europe pointing out the taxes.
Schvábová, Andrea ; Kubátová, Květa (advisor) ; Vítek, Leoš (referee)
My diploma work describes comparison of enterprise and tax environment in Germany and in Visegrad group (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland). The goal of my work is to compare mainly the West and East Germany and Visegrad group, as well as to compare the described countries each other. The main source used in the work is analysis of the European Bank for Research and Development considered the business environment in the investigated countries. This analysis is closely described in the first chapter. The short description of the tax system in Germany and Visegrad group can you find in the second chapter. I chose only the taxes, which significantly influence the business decision. In the third chapter, I realized the comparison of all described facts and tried to find relations between the investigated countries each other, as well as between the every single indicator (e. g. if the business environment depends on the macroeconomic environment, etc.).

Implicit and Explicit Method in nonlinear Dynamics
Vaněčková, Adéla ; Hradil, Petr (referee) ; Němec, Ivan (advisor)
The final thesis „Explicit and Implicit methods in nonlinear dynamics“ deals with the issue of geometrical and physical nonlinear analysis of structures exposed to seismic loading by the methods of direct integration of equations of motion. Solution by the explicit and the implicit method is compared for three material models. While the differences between the results of the explicit method and the implicit Newmark method are small as expected, the differences are substantial between the results of different material models. However, these differences are explained and they are in full concordance with the theoretical assumptions for the pertinent material models. The conclusion of the final thesis is check of correctness of the results of the new module of the program system RFEM for both tested numerical methods and all three analyzed material models. (linear elastic, plastic Drucker-Prager and the Mazars damage model). With sufficient precision of results, both explicit and implicit numerical methods showed to be suitable for seismic analysis. The implicit method can provide several times faster calculation than the explicit one, but the determination of the optimal time step is problematic and time consuming, so the suitability of use of both methods for seismic analysis is comparable.

Viewing Large Raster Geodata Online
Mikita, Martin ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a multi-platform client-server application to access large raster data, existing and proposed ways to optimize the running speed and processing raster. The advantage of the application is an updated version of GDAL for reading most known raster format, and implementing extension for reading GeoPDF with open-source PDF rendering library. Integrating created and optimized server component into the open-source project IIPImage improves it to support more raster formats.
