Bártová, Jitka ; Votýpka, Jan (advisor) ; Verner, Kryštof (referee)
Thie thesis consists of three main parts: an introduction, a description of physical conditions in the studied area and a main part which includes results of geomorphologic research and mapping. The area of interest is situated in central Bohemia in preserved area called Blanik. In the region there are two structural hills where the research was done. The names of these hills are Velký and Malý Blaník. Geologic structure of the region is built of Proterozoic - Paleozoic metamorphic rocks of Moldanubicum. Moldanubicum is represented here by muscovite - biotite orthogneiss (called blanicka ) and muscovite - biotite paragneiss. Both hills are created by muscovite - biotite orthogneiss so all the landforms are of its origin. There were classified structural, cryogenic, fluvial and other landforms in this thesis. Special attention was paid to cryogenic forms: frost - riven cliffs, cryoplanation plateaux, pseudocirques, block fields and many others. Almost 1000 measurements of joints were done. Cloose` s rosettes show systems of joints which prove tectonic system in the region and determine different mezoforms. Mapping brought some more results. Fluvial erosional and accumulative forms were classified as well as the anthropogenous forms. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Formation of the Israeli political elites, 1919-1949
Zouplna, Jan ; Gombár, Eduard (advisor) ; Wanner, Jan (referee) ; Šedinová, Jiřina (referee)
The submitted dissertation seeks to analyze the political process associated with the origins of the lsraeli polity during the British Mandate over Palestine. Particular attention is given to the political turmoil within two rival blocks: the Zionist Labor movement and the Revisionist movement. The structure of the dissertation reflects the fact that Haim Weizmann, the longserving president of the Zionist Organization, and his then dominant General Zionists were sidelined at the turn of 1920s and 1930s by the two activist trends of Zionist politics that came to dominate Israeli society from that time forward. Analysis of the means of communication and self-presentation of Czech parliamentary parties in 2004, before and after the Czech Republic joined the European Union
Škývarová, Soňa ; Jirák, Jan (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
Since the overall topic of my diploma thesis is political communication, I focused my attention on Czech parliamentary political parties and their internal communication as well as their public communication strategies. To limit the scope of my research to a reasonable size, I selected year 2004 because three elections were held that year: European Parliament elections, Senate elections, and local authority elections. The exact topic of this thesis is "Analysis of the Means of Communication and Self-Presentation of Czech Parliamentary Parties in 2004, Before and After the Czech Republic Joined the European Union". There are three basic components of my thesis: the theoretical part exploring the notion of political communication, the descriptive part dealing with the political system of the Czech Republic in the given year, and finally the analysis of the communication methods of the selected parties. My research was carried out in several phases. I studied thoroughly my subject and formulated definitions and drew graphs to capture the notion of political communication. I defined it as acts carried out by political actors, both inside and outside of the political organization. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
