Šluknovský výběžek: Identities, Narratives, Representations.

The thesis results from a qualitative anthropological research conducted in the border area of Šluknovský výběžek. The research subject is the construction and representation of local identites by the inhabitants of the borderland. The first part of the thesis contains an analyzis of local identity construction by the people who migrated into the studied area in the 2nd half of the 20th century. The key concept of this part is the concept of narrativity. The author analyzes the potential re-territorialization of local identity of new settlers as well as the geographical demarcation of the local identity with regard to the near national borderline. Furthermore, there are described distinct post-migration adaptation strategies of the new settlers. In the second part the author focuses on the public representations of the studied area by local activists. Three different projects aspiring to represent and thus establish the studied area as an internally homogenous (trans-border) region are analyzed. Thereby the thesis refers to the issue of the European Union and interconnected idea of European regionalism.

The Mass-media, the Political Sphere and Media Education

Naše práce si dala za úkol několik cílů. Prvním cílem byl náhled do problematiky médií a politické komunikace. Popsali jsme některé důležité aspekty médií, které zahrnují jak omezení dané technologií, tak omezení organizační. Shrnuli jsme současný stav teorie mediální a politické komunikace, včetně styčných ploch mezi těmito dvěma disciplínami. Bohužel tento současný stav a omezený prostor této práce nedovolují zevrubnější náhled do problematiky a formulaci jasnějších závěrů. Na druhou stranu jsme využili více zdrojů a přístupů pro identifikaci účinků mediálního sdělení a popsali několik způsobů, jakými se média snaží zajistit objektivitu i několik strategií, jak lze sdělení pozměnit tak, aby místo neutrálního vyznění ovlivňovalo příjemce. Cíl, který jsme si stanovili jako druhý v pořadí, lze shrnout jako popis procesu, kterým prochází mediální sdělení. Vytvořili jsme vlastní schéma, podle kterého jsme odvíjeli analýzu jednotlivých částí procesu. Pomocí příkladů uvedených v literatuře se nám podařilo nastínit možné problematické partie jednotlivých účastníků tohoto procesu a i když jsme zdaleka nevyčerpali všechny otázky, které se nabízejí, zmínili jsme všechny důležité momenty. Linear pottery culture villages in Eastem Bohemia and problems of the archaeological material formation processes

The aim of the work is to attempt a new approach towards the inner organization of the Neolithic settlements and their mutual relations. The main object of analysis is the LBK culture pottery, which is studied not only in terms of its chronological attributes, but attention is also paid to its characteristics that can possibly reflect the behavioral patterns of the society. Three working goals have been defined: The first one focuses on the standard chronological settlement analysis; the second pursues the stylistic analysis of the LBK pottery decoration with the intention of identifying the variability within the settlement; and the third one is dedicated to observation of formation processes of the archaeological material both at the human behavior level of refuse treatment and the post-deposition natural processes level. Together with the evolution of the archaeological theory the concept of the archaeological findings - artifacts and ecofacts - information capacities has changed. Chronological level of artifact features and consequent creation of typological and chronological charts were stressed within the cultural history theory. Internet Marketing Campaigns

Tato práce je členěna do dvou základních částí ? teoretické a praktické. První část obsahuje kategorizaci online reklamy internetového marketingu. Srovnává jednotlivé druhy s jejich výhodami a nevýhodami se zaměřením na tzv. PPC reklamní systémy. Cílem první části je vytvoření uceleného přehledu nejpoužívanějších PPC reklamních systémů na českém trhu. Přehled nabízí srovnání jejich jednotlivých předností a nevýhod. Bližší pohled je věnován systému Sklik, se kterým jsem osobně pracoval. Druhá část se zabývá konkrétní případovou studií propagace firmy Textilforum, s.r.o. na internetu. V rámci práce je vytvořena analýza uskutečněných aktivit firmy za účelem zvýšení počtu návštěvníků webu v souvislosti se změnou tržeb. Součástí analýzy je i uskutečněná měsíční kampaň v PPC systému Sklik. Na základě této analýzy je pak doporučen další postup při propagaci firmy na internetu. Cílem této práce je tedy celkové nastínění problematiky internetového marketingu se zaměřením na PPC reklamu a analýza konkrétního případu využívající tuto metodu propagace.

The transformation of traditional Russian cuisine within Russian eating tradition (introduction to the problem)

Jídlo je primární a základní životní potřeba člověka. Biologicky zdědil člověk po svých vývojových předcích eurifagii (všežravost) - schopnost konzumovat prakticky všechny druhy potravy. Stravovací typ všech lidských kultur se vyvíjel (u některých etnik ještě vyvíjí) v závislosti na způsobu opatřování potravy - od prvotního nediferencovaného loveckosběračského přes intenzivně lovecký až k zemědělsko-pasteveckému. Právě zemědělská revoluce znamenala největší proměnu v lidském stravování. "U všech zemědělských národů (s částečnou výjimkou severských kočovných pastevců) se stal hlavním zdrojem kalorií rostlinný škrob - v Evropě a Západní Asii hlavně pšenice a ječmen. Kromě toho se v převážné části Eurasie stala pravidelnou konzumace mléka a mléčných výrobků ". 1 Tyto základní zdroje škrobů a bílkovin byly po tisíciletí doplňovány dalšími plodinami - luštěninami, zeleninami a ovocem, šířících se z center vzniku kulturních rostlin.2 Charakter stravování byl vždy jedním z nejdůležitějších projevů etnicity daného národa. Consumer protection in banking

The significance of personal data protection in the Czech Republic and in other developed countries has been continually increasing. A bank's security system breakdown can cause not only a misuse of the client's personal data but also a financial loss that harms the client and the bank reputation as well. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of the direct banking security and protection means of sensitive data of prime banks on the Czech market. First chapter characterises the consumer protection issues in regard of banking. The second part of the thesis concentrates on the area of direct banking, its forms, possible threats and the particular security tools used by local banks. Last section consists of an analysis of the survey among the banks and their clients.

Social media management of czech foundations and endowment funds

The diploma thesis presents a picture of how the Czech foundations and endowment funds communicate on social networks and which social networks they use. The first part which is based on the relevant literature is devoted to the theoretical framework of social networks in overall public relations discipline. The latest findings from the world's research of this topic are included. The aim is to analyze the content of the message that is published by the organizations through the social networks and to define the target groups to which the communication is directed. The research part is devoted to a detailed content analysis of the posts of six foundations and four endowment funds on social networking site Facebook during six months. The communication is put into context with other social networks and other online channels that are used to communicate. The thesis can work as a theoretical background for a deeper insight into the problem. It also gives practical examples and insight useful in everyday work of nonprofit organizations.

Bridge over a local road

This master thesis is focused for design, respectively for creating counterproposal of existing structure of Motorway Bridge located at D1 motorway between Jánovce and Jablonov in district Levoča in Slovakia. This bridge is over a local road. The main aim of this thesis is design, analysis and assessment of bearing elements of bridge deck. For purposes of this thesis was created three variants of bridge deck. Detailed analysis was performed on bearing construction from post-tensioned precast beam with monolithing concrete slab. Two mathematic models were used for analysis of chosen variant. First model was spatial 3D shell construction. The purpose of this model was determinate cross spreading line of other constant load and live load. Second, flat 2D model, was for determination creep and shrinkage appeared from long-term load. These effects were observed in at advanced defined time nodes. Outcomes from upper mentioned model were used from design and assessment of bearing elements of bridge deck, design prestressed reinforcement cables and concrete reinforcement rods.

More effective approaches of brown coal post-mining restoration

The thesis is focused on evaluation of landscape restoration procedures. The land was heavily devastated by large-scale quarrying. Here are compared reclamation procedures used in the Czech Republic and abroad. Study area is the North Bohemian brown coal basin, which formed areas valuable for many endangered species of flora and fauna after the mining has ended. Surface coal mining method causes the extinction of villages, roads, railways, land and greenery. Our task now is to minimalize these effects as much as possible. To create a new landscape, with an emphasis on the environment. Reclamation helps us to do that.
Monitored location is Střimická dump, where the representation of non-productive habitat was evaluated and there was proposed new, more efficient version of reclamation. Mapping has found that the current state of the dump is 5,2 % representation of non-productive habitat. The proposed variant represents the addition of new elements and thus increase the proportion to 23,5 %, which corresponds with the current trend of post-mining landscape recovery.
