Methods and results of therapeutic effect's research

This paper analyzes methods of therapeutic effect's research, its advantages and limitations. It describes the theory of therapeutic change, medical model of measurements and randomized clinical trials. Based on this we suggest a three-level evaluation of change, where clinical, statistical and comparative (effect size) view is used. We conclude that the high effectiveness of therapy has been proven, but it has not been determined so far, which therapy is the most effective and for which diagnosis. The techniques of therapies are far less relevant than the capabilities of the therapist and client and the common factors. In the empirical part we measure the effect of sevenweeks- long outpatient therapeutic community program at Horni Palata. In a non-RCT study with 162 clients we found, that the change was positive and statistically significant. The evaluation differs much with the tool (SCL-90, DZS, MMPI-2) and method that is used. The percentage of clinically improved ranges form 25 to 68, the effect size is between 0.33 and 0.66. The effect doesn't differ with sex, age, medication, diagnosis and therapist, but it correlates with the pre-treatment scores.

The analysis of managerial system of training and development

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the learning and development system of managers in the company Konštrukta Industry, to evaluate this system and suggest recommendations to solve the problems. The thesis is divided into six chapters. In the first one i speak about human resource development in general, whom to develop, how, in what part and how can we motivate people, how can we make them to want to develop themselves. The second chapter is dedicated to the enterprise educational system, what are its goals, advantages. Then I describe its phases, which are educational needs identification, planning, realization and the last but not least results and efficiency evaluation. The end of this chapter is about several methods of learning and development, which are mentioned in present literature and praxis. The third and the last chapter of the theoretical part contains detailed information about managerial learning and development, where I also describe manager in general, his competences, competence model and then the main approaches and parts of the entire development process of managers. In the firs chapter of the practical part I introduce the company I co-operated with. In the next chapter I describe the system of learning and development of its employees and managers in particular. In the end of this thesis I give them some recommendations, how could they improve in the area of learning and development of their managers.

The Fitness Strength Training Application in Physiotherapy

Name of thesis: Benefit from the use of fitness in physiotherapy Aims: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the present state of strength training in fitness centres in the Czech Republic and to deduce it's usage in physiotherapy. Methods: This diploma paper is divided to two parts. The first part is a specific retrieval of the current state of the broad issues such as strength training in fitness centres, back pain, muscular system and their impact on physiotherapy. The second part consists of suggested guidelines for physiotherapists dealing with the problematic of back pain. It includes the initial physical examination, methods of strength workouts in fitness centres and a set of exercises with hooked illustrations. Feedback procedures, its options and limits in practical training of future chemistry teachers

Present days mean rapid development of technologies and their use in various spheres of science, research, production etc. This paper shows possibilities of using video technology in teaching during the pedagogical training of future chemistry teachers, with appropriate feedback. Terms reflection and self-reflection of teacher's skills, diagnostics and autodiagnostics of pedagogical activities, monitoring of pedagogical skills etc. represent in fact processes connected with application of feedback principles during the pedagogical training. In practice-oriented parts of teaching preparation, these processes are considered to be substantial to increase the effectiveness. Students' opinions shall also have a significant place in post-inspection procedures. This bachelor thesis focus on possibilities of active recreation, physical training and sport, which are offered by Czech Republic for its inhabitants.In this thesis is detailed analysis of city of Jihlava. Aim is analysis of supporting sport from city budget in the middle-sized city in the Czech Republic. This aim is solved by partial goals, like characterisation of city Jihlava and then answering questions: Is the allocation of money for sports areas systematic?, Are the financial funds for sports area adequate in comparison with similar city?

Theory and practice of a merger (selected issues)

The objective of the thesis is a merger in czech business environment. The first chapter focuses on the history of mergers and motives of mergers. The next part concentrates on the characteristics of the transformation of the companies. The thesis includes description of mergers according to the international accepted standards, mainly IFRS 3 (IAS 22). There is a description of mergers from the legal, accounting and tax point of view. After the theoretical part the thesis describes a real case of a merger of two companies combined with the transformation of legal form.

The Importance of Outdoor Training (OT) in Education of Employees

Present current Czech and European OT market from the point ofview ofthe OT providers. Method: A questionnaire research was used to find out how important is OT for the companies. The answers were gained from 19 personnel managers of different companies with the place of business in the Czech Republic. A method of the secondary analysis of the literature was chosen for the evaluation of the suitability and topicality ofOT. To present current situation on the market the structured interview with representatives of providers ofoutdoor training was used. Results: The results show the point ofview ofthe personnel managers to the OT and present the situation on the Czech and European OT market. Implementing nursing process into practise, nurses' look to nursing documentation in local hospital in Mladá Boleslav

Bachelor's thesis deals with implementing nursing process into nursing documentation in local hospital in Mladá Boleslav. It describes a method of nursing process and nursing documentation on theoretical level. It also deals with legal consequences of documentation administration. Basis of the thesis is created by research inquiry on the level of knowledge in the area of nursing process with two groups of nurses. The findings of the knowledge are compared at both researched samples. In conclusion of the research inquiry of this thesis, administration of nursing documentation on the ward of physiotherapy in local hospital in Mladá Boleslav is assessed.
