Electronic Communication in Organisations

The work explores the theoretical knowledge of the effects of electronic communication on the fuctioning of the working team on trust, member satisfaction, self evaluation through empowerment and cohesion. To verify the obtained results the explorative study in the natural environment of the working team, intensively using electronic communications, were done. The main methodwas the analysis of theories of electronic communication and the functioning of teams under working environment conditions. For explorative study the method of observations was used, as well as unstructured interviews and questionnaires. After analysing the current theoretical knowledge and the definition of main directions of the exploration, the work focuses on the exploration study of the team in the natural working environment with higher levels of virtualization. In addition to several theories of rational choice and theories of the impact of communication technology on social relations the concept of Human Relations was used as an crucial explanatory apparatus for findings, obtained in the exploratory study. A key finding was the dominance of social relations in communication, which outweighed the rational theory of choice and technological determinism. Conflicts in the organization

This bachelor thesis is about conflicts in organization and ways to their solution. The main aim of this thesis is to emphasize their both, positive and negative effects on working atmosphere and the quality of work. Furthermore, as one of the ways to improve organization's efficiency and success, different practical instruments and methods are described. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical knowledge about conflicts and methods to work with them. Practical part follows everything said in the theoretical one and is based on research done by the form of questionnaires and unstructured interviews with an aim to gather information about the existence of conflicts in organization as well as about different ways that are being used to solve them. Suitable ideas for improvement and other recommendations are given after the interpretation of results of the research.

Requirements of companies on graduate profile

This thesis looks into the company requirements for software developer graduates. Its purpose is to map the most important requirements that companies demand from software developer graduates. This is achieved by interviews with experts in the field and a subsequent questionnaire. The thesis consists of the evaluation of previous researches on this topic, a view on the means of teaching programming, and the evaluation of ones own research. The main benefit of this work is the discovery of software developer graduates knowledge deficiencies and the suggestions on how to make this situation better.

Young women's value orientation

The diploma thesis The Value Orientation of Young Women evaluates relationship differences between men and women; it defines and classifies moral values and detects changes in value orientations of contemporary postmodern society. The thesis describes value orientations of young women on the basis of comparison of the results from qualitative research made in the way of half-standardized interviews with ten Czech women in the age of 25 to 30 years, and the earlier research that was done mostly in 1990s. On the basis of the research, the thesis reveals some areas where the value orientation stays unchanged, but on the other hand it also finds out areas where some differences are detectable and where a movement in time can be noticed.

System of employees evaluation in the company ELTODO EG, a.s.

This graduation theses is about creation and implementing the system of employees evaluation in the company ELTODO EG, a.s. At first the analysis of working stations was done. The results of the analysis were job descriptions and role specifications. And then the competence model of the company was done. Further we had to specify the aims, areas and criteria of evaluation. We also had to choose available methods and create the evaluation form. The substance of this system is the evaluation interview. This interview serves for appreciation of the job performance and the competence of employees and for determination of their performance and developing aims. At the end of this theses the methodology of evaluation was created. This methodology contains the important information about persons and term of evaluation.

Foundation and development of Czech Professional Cycling after 1989

AND KEY WORDS Title of Thesis: Foundation and development of Czech Professional cycling after 1989 Aim of the thesis: Aim of this thesis was to find out and describe main characteristics of development of Czechoslovakian, later Czech, professional cycling (mainly road cycling) in period of revolutionary political social economic and legislative changes that happened in our country after year 1989. In context of main aim is necessary to consider overall development in sport of cycling, its organisation and marginally the work of Czech cycling federation. Research methods: I have used qualitative research methods, analysis of documents, cycling magazines from that period and internet resources. After that instructed interviews with prominent Czech sport directors, race organisers and others were done. Obtained data were completed from informal interviews with cycling officials and contemporaries. Results: Top state supported amateur sport evolved in professional sport in tracking period. Contemporary situation of Czech cycling matches overall economic situation in Czech Republic and lower popularity of cycling than that in 1980's what is the price paid for this evolution. The assumptions of commercial services development in a chosen area - microregion Táborsko

The aim of the bachelor work {\clqq}The assumptions of the development of commercial services in the chosen area {--} the microregion Táborsko`` is to describe the chosen microregion with a view to commercial services, then to make the situation analysis and in conclusion to specify the assumptions of the development of commercial services in the chosen area. This study defines the chosen microregion, lists all its spheres and gives their minute descriptions, which are particularly characteristic for this microregion and are vital for the development of commercial services. The profile of the microregion aimed at commercial services is created on the basis of the survey which was made through question forms sent to businessmen and interviews done with mayors. The characteristic of the chosen microregion in conjunction with its profile determines the situation analysis, which sets out deficits and surplus supply and demand in a scanned sphere. The attention in the interpretation of the results is paid to cooperation between businessmen. There is also the analysis of the microregion{\crq}s activity followed by suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of the microregion functioning.

Newspapers in public libraries

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out how the activities concerning daily press go in five selected public libraries. In opening chapter the examined branch is delineated by definitions of used terms, previous adaptations of this topic are summarized, and methodology of research based on interview and surveys is introduced. Hypotheses are expressed in the last part of this chapter. In the second chapter all the Czech national daily press is characterized and their internet activities are documented. If those titles have an electronic version, it's functionality is examined in this part of thesis. Chapters 3 and 4 present results of research which was done at five libraries of various sizes.The third chapter presents selected libraries and it describes the workflow of purchasing the press in those organizations with a special emphasis on the process of choosing the material. In the fourth chapter the preferences of readers in selected libraries and the intensity of their interest over time are examined. This part of dissertation also includes analysis of other activities concerning press such as cataloguing and displacing journals. Third and Fourth chapter are closed with summarization of detected facts. In the conclusion assigned hypotheses are confirmed or disconfirmed.

Monitoring Conditions for Physical Activity Utilization on the Medical Program at the Detoxification Ward

Title: The Monitoring OfCondition For Motion Activites Utilization In The Terms OfThe Medical Program At The Detoxification Ward The aim of a work: The aim of this diploma work is the monitoring of rnotion activities utilization at the rnedical procedure and the determination of physical ability level of patients curing at the detoxification ward in the General Teaching Hospital in Apolinářská street. The methodology of a work: By the aim of this diploma work we have chosen the following work's methods: the controlled interview, the questionnaire and the kinetic tests. Because of the motion activities monitoring we have used the following instuments of the pedagogical research: the controlled interview and the non-standardized questionnaire containing seven closed and three non-closed questions. We have taken advantage of the personal statement of the motion activities implementor. The kinetic test we have applied for the determination of physical ability level ofpatients in the four test days. The results of a work: The motion exercises make a part of the daily program at the detoxification. The physical exercises have positive effect on the physical condition of patients addicted to alcohol and also on their mental condition. A Qualitative Study of Strategy Creation in a Sports Organization

This thesis discusses strategic management in sport. There are two main parts in the thesis. First part includes theory about strategic management, strategic management in sport and strategic planning process. In the second part there is a research which analyzes Czech hanball club HC Dukla Prague. The research is qualitive and done by personal interviews with managers, players and spectators of the club. The main purpose of the thesis is to find out how the club works with the strategy and what are the differences between theory of strategy and real actions of the club. In the end there are some recommendations for the club how to improve their strategic planning process.
