Barriers and limits development of the microregion Borsko
Pivovarová, Blažena ; Kadeřábková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Říhová, Gabriela (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is to explore the issue of microregional associations, the center of my interest is the Borsko microregion and the renewal project of the recreational area Bonětice. I am especially interested in how this association is performing since its establishment, how it is pursuing its aims, which projects were implemented by the Borsko microregion, whether it is operating effectively and, ultimately, what barriers and limits the development is facing. To confirm my initial assumptions, I used the survey method. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I deal with basic concepts and practical part deals with the microregion Borsko. The work also includes socio-economic analysis of microregion Borsko.

Anglicisms as a means of teenage identity construction in the virtual environment
Lipková, Eva ; Matuchová, Klára (advisor) ; Červinková Poesová, Kristýna (referee)
The thesis deals with the contemporary Czech adolescents' use of the English loan words and their role in identity construction in the virtual environment. Its objective is to prove that in the sample of respondents Anglicisms may be considered a distinctive feature of the online teenage group identity. The theoretical part provides framework where the basic terms are explained - such as identity, its interconnectedness with language, self-presentation, the adolescent age and the interplay of all these elements in the online milieu. The practical part then presents results of the field research, explains the choice of a comparative approach and confirms the initial hypothesis given in the introduction. The conclusion interprets the gained data and offers assumptions. Key words: identity, selective self-presentation, search for self, testing possible selves, virtual environment, adolescent age, peer feedback, language, Anglicism.

The role of macrophages in immunosuppression mediated ny regulatory T cells
Kadlecová, Kristýna ; Holáň, Vladimír (advisor) ; Stříž, Ilja (referee)
Regulatory T cells (Treg) represent one of the most important mechanisms of immunoregulation. Treg suppress immune reactions and prevent overactivation of the immune system. There is a lot of ways of Treg action described, here we have focused on Treg interference with macrophages. The suppressor capacity of a highly purified Treg population was demonstrated in proliferation assays. The level of suppression of effector T cell proliferation differs depending on the presence of macrophages in the culture. Treg suppression has been significantly higher in the presence of macrophages. These observations led to hypotesis that Treg affect directly macrophages. However, using flow cytometry, reduction of expression of costimulatory molecules on macrophages after culture with Treg was not observed. Macrophages precultured with Treg showed a comparable functionality as macrophages cultured alone. Neither flow cytometry nor live cell imaging revealed any cytotoxic activity of Treg towards macrophages. Despite the presence of macrophages, Treg did not suppress effector cell proliferation in a model, where stronger activation of effector cells was induced. Therefore, a new hypothesis was presented - initially observed higher suppression in the presence of macrophages was probably caused by a qualitatively or...

Prevention of Breast Cancer
Bárta, Daniel ; Šafář, Petr (advisor)
Breast cancer is the most frequent women's oncogenous disease. The efficient epidemiological observation of the occurrence of this disease can give the explanation of cooperating factors of the breast cancer inception and it serves as one of the initial points when working out the screening programme. The continuously on-going research in many countries tries to explain the pathogenesis of breast cancer inception. The research is mainly focused on the detection of the changes on the genom level with the help of molecular biology methods. The detailed observation of genetic changes in tumorous cells will probably lead to the revaluation of the breast malignities classification, which will be based on the molecular substance of the tumour inception and will become the basis for the targeted therapy, being directed against the defined neoplastic changes in the particular kind of tumour. Owing to the limited possibilities to apply primary preventive care the secondary prevention is the cardinal point. As the early discovery of the disease nowadays still represents the basis for the successful therapy, the contribution of screening programmes is great. Mammography has appeared to be a suitable detective method for the screening. Nowadays the professionals try to make the screening coverage of the particular...

1 SUMMARY STANISLAVA ŠČOTKOVÁ VRANOV NAD DYJÍ PARISH TEAM (BACHELOR THESIS) Vranov nad Dyjí Parish Team (FATYM) is a community of Catholic priests, deacons and other collaborators in the Brno diocese. It is based on joint management of several priests over a greater number of parishes. The team was created by decision of the Brno diocese bishop Mons. Vojtěch Cikrle in 1996. In addition to the fact that FATYM administrates conferred parishes, the team members try - using their specific charismas and abilities - to help out in different areas pastoral care in our country. Its activities include the parish's missions, the organization of pilgrimages on foot, Marian brotherhoods, press apostolate, Internet TV broadcasting, Pure Love Initiative, publishing "Milujte se!" (Love each other) magazine, etc. In this bachelor thesis I would like to closer outline these activities and evaluate this project. Keywords: parish team; parish; priest; lay collaborators; pastoral care

Visualization of problems of motion on a graph
Koupý, Petr ; Holan, Tomáš (referee) ; Surynek, Pavel (advisor)
A software tool visualizing the movement of entities on a graph is presented in this thesis. Such model is often used to abstract environment where the given set of entities must be reordered from an initial to a certain goal configuration in space. Software solvers of these problems usually produce suboptimal solutions in the textual form, which is generally hard to explore by a human. Thus, the visualization tool can be utilized by a researcher when analyzing the quality of such solutions. In order to visualize solutions, the presented tool handles a set of problems - embedding the graph into a plane, controlling the animation, capturing the output to images or video files, managing colors and validating movements in the solution. The thesis provides detailed information about the implementation of the tool including the choice of suitable algorithms, architecture and technologies.

Economic development in Argentina during the government od J.D.Perón 1946 - 1955
Holas, Petr ; Tajovský, Ladislav (advisor) ; Szobi, Pavel (referee)
This thesis deals with the period of nearly ten years of the first governance period of Juan Domingo Perón. In this era were established bases of peronist movement, whose legacy is presented in Argentine politics till these days. This period represents a fundamental turning point in Argentine history, both from the politic and socio-economic points of view. The thesis is divided into four major chapters. The first one outlines the status of Argentine society and the economy in the context of the international situation before Perón became Argentine president. Another three chapters deal directly with the period of Perón's government. The first one deals with three fundaments of peronist economic policy of initial period, which included economic nationalism and etatism, industrialization and especially massive redistribution policy. The second chapter analyses the socio-economic aspects of peronist constitutional reform of 1949, economic development at the end of Perón's first presidency and development in the agricultural sector during his first presidency. Final chapter examines changes in economic policy during the second Perón's presidency and causes of his deposition.

Concepts of harmony in five metaphysical poets
Jajtner, Tomáš ; Hilský, Martin (advisor) ; Procházka, Martin (referee) ; Mánek, Bohuslav (referee)
My interest in metaphysical poetry has always been tainted with a sense of amazement and awe: the poetry of the School of Donne, indeed, poses fundamental questions about the nature of modem poetry and the mission of a poet within a disenchanted world. The slow abandonment of the old Pythagorean system of ham1onious spheres rotating around a stable earth and the acceptance of the heliocentric Copernican-Keplerean universe marked a true "breaking of the circle of perfection''- to use the term of Marjorie Nicholson - and entailed a complex breach in the nature of representational arts. The old cosmology depicted the universe as truly universa!, i.e. turning around a single axis, a single principle, or a clearly defined centre. The order of creation was granted by the gradual chain of being, uniting the lowest with the highest in a scale of perfection. The nature of representational arts was, primarily, to re-present the order of creation: i.e. finding a means of transfer between the static order of universe and human understanding. Classical Renaissance literary theory - in fact, inherited from Antiquity - emphasised that poetry as the art of making was to "teach and delight": its delightfulness had to be firmly bound with instruction and initiation into to the order of harmonious cosmos. Indeed, Sidney...

EU and the Kyoto Protocol: EU Cumate Policy in the Context of World-Wide Activities
Kroupová, Sylvie ; Rovná, Lenka (advisor) ; Weiss, Tomáš (referee)
EU AND THE KYOTO PROTOCOL: EU climate policy in the context of world-wide activities This thesis discusses the role of the European Union in the process of international negotiations on the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework convention on Climate Change, which sets the targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the ratifying countries. With these negotiations the world-wide climate policy was launched. The EU introduced itself as the world leader on the field of promoting high targets and a maximum range of domestic actions. In the international negotiation process, which was in run since 1992, EU had to urge other major emitters of greenhouse gases, above all the United States and Russia, on ratifying the Kyoto protocol. After the US had declined the Protocol, the EU put a great effort in bringing Russia to ratification of the Protocol so that it could enter into force. The EU was also the main initiator of further discussions on climate change strategy in the post-Kyoto period since 2012. As the process of the Protocol's ratification took almost six years, the EU has started its own climate policy with the aim of fulfilling its Kyoto targets. The examination of the EU climate policy domestic actions is the second and the main target of this thesis. In the conclusion I have discussed the...

The effect of bailiff territoriality on the reclamation of receivables, the length of debt recovery and other aspects of court-ordered distraints
Plaček, Jan ; Smrčka, Luboš (advisor) ; Belás, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hučka, Miroslav (referee)
The area of individual reclamation of receivables in the form of court-ordered distraints has undergone significant changes since the year 2000. The initial practice, when the claims used to be enforced directly by judicial officers, proved to be largely ineffective and with difficult to apply. The Ministry of Justice has responded by adopting an amendment to the Act (Act no. 120/2001 Coll., on bailiffs and executor activities), which introduced the independent bailiff offices. Then, the law itself understood the bailiff authorities as a separate entrepreneurs. Currently, in the Czech Republic, there can be seen the distribution of the market with distraints according to the Pareto rule. Approximately 20% of bailiff offices manage over 80% of distraints. It is obvious that this is an unsatisfactory condition for the majority of bailiff offices. In response to this fact, the Czech Chamber of Bailiff offices calls for the introduction of territoriality, which would eliminate by law the market environment from the market with distraints and every single bailiff office would have a stable allocation of distraint proceedings. The analysis carried out clearly shows that there are significant differences between bailiff offices in terms of speed and in success of the debt recovery. The actual demand for the introduction of territoriality would not merely be a reallocation of the market with distraints. Putting it into a practice would greatly influence the transactional costs of business and non-business entities in the Czech economy. The thesis comprehensively describes the issue of territoriality and quantifies how much the debt collection will decrease in case of its introduction. In the conclusion, an alternative draft is formulated, which might, according to the author, allow effective regulation and supervision of the activities of bailiffs' offices without compromising the inherent efficiency of the reclamation of receivables in terms of market environment.
