Foundation and Origin of a Limited Partnership
Novotná, Eliška ; Kalinová, Miluše (advisor) ; Žák, Květoslav (referee)
It is very popular to enter a market as an entrepreneur in the Czech Republic today. A person should be knowledgeable about the Czech law and decide whether s/he intends to carry business either as a sole proprietor or as a corporation. This bachelor's work provides the information and advice how to start, when a business organization, concretely a limited partnership/Ltd., is going to be founded. There are going to be explained concrete steps that lead to a foundation and origin of a limited partnership in this work. Founders of a business organization need to form the Articles of Partnership at the beginning. They should also find suitable premises for their future corporation. The next step that is important to do is to get an entrepreneurial licence for that activity that the corporation will carry on. One of the most important steps to establish a company is to file a proposal for the incorporation of the business into the Register of Companies. When the business is registered in the Register of Companies, then it can perform its entrepreneurial activity according to the incorporation act. In case of a limited partnership/Ltd. the co-partner who is bound to a deposit duty should pay up his deposit as soon as possible after the business is incorporated. After reading the above instructions the reader may think that the establishment and origin of a company is quite easy. I hope s/he will recognize that it is necessary to be well informed about legal procedures for establishment of a business at the end of this bachelor's work. The mere existence of a company itself is not sufficient. The business must find its customers and reach its target. For that reason it is essential to create an entrepreneurial plan and a marketing strategy for a concrete company. Thus, an entrepreneur should combine the knowledge of law and economics if s/he wants to be successful in the market.

Perspective on Taxation of Motor Vehicles in the EU and Impact of Crisis on Automotive Industry
Maryško, Michal ; Láchová, Lenka (advisor) ; Láchová, Lenka (referee)
This work is devoted to the issue of taxation of motor vehicles, which is nowadays particularly crucial problem mainly due to the increasing impact of transport on the environment. Transport belongs among the five main issuers of CO2 into the atmosphere. Transport contributes almost 16% to the total emissions and road transport contributes 7% to this part. Because of this reason, the European Commission created and proposed a new form of taxation on the use of motor vehicles. This proposal is based on CO2 emissions and vehicle weight. Every single car producer will be forced to reach its specific goals until the year 2012. Emissions should be reduced to the threshold of 120g/km. Another way to battle emission of pollutants into the air are EURO emission standards, which establish binding limits for certain types of pollutants for brand-new vehicles. Afterwards, there is paid the attention to the current situation in the Czech Republic. Road tax (supplemented with time and power charging) has the main role in motor vehicle taxation. Nevertheless, people are presently facing the world economic crisis. Therefore, car producers have to spend a great force in order to remain on the market and it is not an easy task. In conclusion, I deal with financial aid, which had to be given into the automotive industry to let it survive. Just in Europe, car industry employs over 12 million people and fills public budgets with 360 trillion euros on average. It means that it is absolutely necessary to support this kind of industry at present.

Typology of Quasi-states
Riegl, Martin ; Hnízdo, Bořivoj (advisor) ; Romancov, Michael (referee)
Subject of my diploma thesis is typology of quasi-states. I primarily clarify and explain the defnition of sovereign states. After that I focus on the definition of quasi-state, which is in its fundamentals a deviation from a sovereign state. I define four basic categories of quasi-states based on analysis of international community during the active presence of UN, which reflect missing attributes of gregariousness at individual quasi-states. These are not meeting the geographical (experiental) charakteristics of gregariousness, partial limitations or full absence of internal sovereignty, partial limitations or full absence of external sovereignty or limitation of both internal and external sovereignty. I section these four categories into further subcategories. These break up the quasi-states according specific characteristics in given subcategories. There is a general description of characteritical trait at each subcategory that belong into the subcategory. Subsequently brief analytical case studies are being produced for each subcategory. Their objective is to clcarify specific traits of each subcategory and substantiate the presumed typology I conclude that in the times of UN we can witness steep growth of sovereign states, which have been very weak already at the time of its establishment. This...

The Importance of Multi-word Expressions in English Language Teaching with Particular Emphasis on Collocations
Sládečková, Dana ; Fleková, Magdalena (referee) ; Perclová, Radmila (advisor)
This thesis has attempted to turn attention to the key importance of teaching multi-word expressions in English language teaching. The theoretical part discussed the status of vocabulary in ELT and defined the relevant linguistic terms, i.e. collocations, phrasal verbs, free phrases and fixed phrases (idioms, lexical phrases). Collocations w^ere given a special part to play in this thesis and hence they were dealt with in depth. This linguistic area was divided into three main categories to help both teachers and students. First, several collocation patterns were established. Second, three possible strengths of collocations were identified and finally the difference between category and word collocations was explained. Moreover, all the categories were provided with illustrative examples. Furthermore, it has been explained that the knowledge of multi-word expressions and particularly collocations is necessary for successful development of students' competence in a foreign language. On one hand, extensive knowledge improves their fluency and accuracy in language production. On the other hand, insufficient knowledge of multi-word expressions might face students with serious difficulties not only in language production, but also in language comprehension. Transfer and interpretation. Expatriation of Czechoslovak citizens of German birth 1945-1947 and its accounts in daily newspaper
Klimeš, David ; Bednařík, Petr (referee) ; Kubů, Eduard (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to analyze the transfer of the Gennan people as covered by the daily press, which was both partisian and officially considered not to be under the influence of the political parties. Among such newspapers were Právo lidu, Svobodné Slovo, Rudé právo, Lidová demokracie, Svobodné noviny, Práce, Zemědělsé noviny, Svobodné československo (Obrana lidu), Mladá fronta and Národní osvobození. In fact, most of these "independent" newspapers were under control of the Communist Party. Resettlement of the Germans was one of the most important issues discussed by the Czech cabinet after the W orld War II. The transfer of the Gennans was obviousl y a genuine wish of the maj ority of the Czech people. However, following the first revolutionary months, a variety of opinions was being expressed on this issue. The Communists wanted to use the resettlement as a political instrument. Naturally, they were in favor of a total transfer of the Germans. On the other hand, other political powers expressed more moderate views, such as the catholic People's Party. The debate was broadly covered by the newspapaers. The media offered greater variety of perspective. There was a strong censorship by the establishment as well as by the journalists themselves, and no one dared to stand against the Košický program...
