Graphology and its possibilities of using in the sphere of personnel management
Jandová, Jana ; Šnýdrová, Ivana (advisor) ; Beneš, Milan (referee)
This thesis deals with graphology and its possible use in personnel management. Its aim is to handle this projective method from both theoretical and practical points of view - both to define graphology and explain related terms, and to consider the possible practical contribution of this method to HR. In this thesis, the tasks of a graphologist are introduced, as well as the nature and way of his or her work with handwriting. Global impression signs, measuring signs and description signs are also mentioned as means of interpretation and graphological analysis. Attention is also paid to the formation of individual handwriting, which is greatly influenced by school handwriting models. In this connection, the thesis also handles the newly coined Comenia Script handwriting model. Another topic of interest are graphological expert opinions being closely connected with ethical principles of graphology. The final part is devoted to the practical use of graphology as a method of recruiting workers in personnel management. This thesis is to provide a basic overview of graphology and principles of work with handwriting. Some knowledge in this field can be of use for personnel managers, recruitment consultants, educational consultants, psychologists, andragogists or all those interested in this discipline....

Protection of the Earth ozone layer from the legal point of view
Bergerová, Lenka ; Žákovská, Karolina (advisor) ; Sobotka, Michal (referee)
Resumé: Protection of the ozone layer of the Earth from the perspective of law This thesis is dealing with protection of the ozone layer. I chose this topic because I consider ozone layer as a very important folder of the environment and its weakening is of global nature and for its protection it was necessary to involve as many countries as possible. This work is focused mainly on the development of ozone layer protection at the international level and on current legislativ. It also includes the European Union's approach to this problem. In the beginning of my thesis I'm trying to explain what is ozone, which substances deplete the ozone layer and which principles and tools are used for its protection. Chapter two is dedicated to the development of ozone layer protection. It includes the beginnings of the international cooperation which began to take shape in the middle of the 70s when was published the first scientific work, which pointed to damage of ozone layer by halogenated hydrocarbons. International cooperation resulted to the adoption of the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer and later to its implementation protocol - Montreal protocol, in September of 1987. The Montreal Protocol was considered an exceptional success of diplomacy in the sphere of environmental protection but in...

Dilemmas of Low-threshold Facility Workers with Sddicts
ŠTROHMAJEROVÁ, Svatava
The theoretical part of the dissertation is aimed at identifying and overcoming of dilemmas in social work. It deals with external and internal instruments that help to solve dilemmas, like ethical code, supervising and the personality of the worker. I discuss the starting points of work and the system of services in the drug field in the Czech Republic. The practical part contains an investigative probe focused on the perception of dilemmas in working experience in a facility dealing with lowthreshold services in the drug field. This part explores whether workers in this field feel the dilemma working with clients, how they overcome them and who or what can assist them during the process of overcoming these dilemmas. Furthermore, an investigative probe detects whether the dilemmas in the chosen facility are the same as the theoretically described dilemmas mentioned by L. Musil, a reputable expert in social work.

Developing Reading Skills of Deaf Pupils in Accordance with the Reference Level A2
Staňková, Vladimíra ; Cícha Hronová, Anna (advisor) ; Pacovská, Jasňa (referee)
This thesis comments on the development of reading skills of deaf students at the language level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference. In line with the view that deaf pupils should be educated bilingually, it draws primarily from foreign textbooks aimed at developing reading skills in foreign language teaching. It provides detailed instructions on how to develop the reading skills when working with a text, what exercises should be used and how the teacher should use them with students. The characteristics of each approach draws attention to possible errors which should be avoided in teaching reading skills. Taking into consideration the knowledge necessary for a pupil to be able to fulfill a reading comprehension task at A2 level and the correct teaching methods, this work provides a set of practice-oriented texts and proposed following activities. The texts are divided into three thematic areas and within each of them, the exercises are structured into several parts according to the different stages of work with a text. Exercises are also supplemented with methodological recommendations and instructions for use suggesting various modifications, pointing to the problematic situations and others.

Generace vířivosti rychlostního pole gradientem entropie
Novák, Martin ; Maršík, František (advisor) ; Grmela, Miroslav (referee)
The master thesis studies the impact of the entropy gradient on the vorticity of ve- locity field, particularly by applying the linear momentum balances. These balances are formulated for Thermo-viscous fluids (later fluids) and Thermo-viscous-elastic ma- terial (later solids) with the other balances (energy, mass, etc.). In order to derive these balances, the Classical continuum mechanics approach is used along with the respec- tive Variational principles. The thesis emphasizes the Variational principles applica- tion representing the modification of the Bateman principle [Bat29] and its comparison with the Classical approach, linked to the L. Crocco work [Cro37], particularly in the case of vorticity generation. It is pointed that by the definition of the dissipative en- tropy sdis a harmony of both approaches can be achieved and that, in the case of an appropriate limit, the direct effect of the entropy gradient on the vorticity of velocity field can be demonstrated. By applying this conclusion the relationship between the change of circulation among a closed curve and released heat on the given geometry is indicated.

Energy saving buildings
Abstract: This work is concerned with questions of energy saving buildings, including introduction of reasons for their building-up. It refers about their characteristics and evaluated parameters for meeting it's requirements. Further it deals with the most important conditions for choosing of location for energy saving buildings and about recommended zoning of rooms according to cardinal points depending on solar radiation. Indicates the posibilities of composition...
