Robot vision with industrial robots Kuka
Selingerová, Simona ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a practical application employing an industrial robot KUKA, a vision system – smart camera Siemens. The application is focused on synchronizing or robot movements with objects moving on a conveyor belt. The introductory and theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with various systems for machine vision currently available on the market. Practical part is then focused on the demonstration application: setting-up the robotic cell and description of all devices, robot and vision system programming.
Design and implementation of the robotic platform for an experimental laboratory task
Juříček, Martin ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Parák, Roman (advisor)
Pokročilá robotika se nemusí vždy pouze pojit s Průmyslem 4.0, nýbrž nachází své uplatnění i kupříkladu v konceptu Smart Hospital. Pokrok v této oblasti umocnilo onemocnění koronaviru (COVID-19), přičemž každé ulehčení práce zdravotnímu personálu je vítáno. V rámci této diplomové práce byla navrhnuta a implementována experimentální robotická platforma s hlavní funkcí stěru vzorků z předsíně dutiny nosní. Robotická platforma představuje kompletní integraci softwaru a hardwaru, kde má operátor přístup k webově založené aplikaci a může ovládat řadu funkcí.
Automated classification cell
Lahoda, Vlastimil ; Chromý, Adam (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
To optimize production at Tyco Electronics Czech s.r.o. I designed and implemented an automated classification cell with a collaborative manipulator Universal Robots UR5e and a Cognex camera system. The classification cell is supposed to pick up the loose parts and then optically test them, sorting the parts into output binders following the inspection results. First of all, I had to learn programming language for Universal Robots manipulators and Cognex vision system. Next step was to design and draw an electrical diagram. According to the diagram, I connected the cabinet and other peripherals. I also programmed an algorithm controlling the manipulator arm and inspecting of both cameras. Finally, I successfully tested the functionality of the entire classification cell.
Project of automated product control on production line
Pelcl, Milan ; Starý, Jiří (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with analysis one of the production lines at ModusLink Czech Republic s.r.o. It seeks to find possibilities for automation of different processes on the line, currently performed manually. The basic focus is to find the appropriate technical solutions to the automated control of the designated production line. The work seeks to describe all meaningful solutions and compare their advantages and disadvantages. From this comparison of the final proposal is based on comprehensive solutions with the use of machine vision. Another point is the selection of a suitable contractor for the implementation of the proposal, making its advantage in economic terms and the resulting recommendations, if implemented the proposal.
Design of station for PCV filter inspection
Tecl, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a station for automatic visual inspection of the PCV valve filter. The PCV valve is part of the Common rail system, which is discussed in detail in the research part. Furthermore, the principle and capabilities of machine vision are described. In the practical part, several design variants are developed, which are further evaluated. Based on this evaluation, the most suitable variant is selected and then elaborated in detail.
Recognition of Vehicle Number Plates
Martinský, Ondrej ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This work deals with problematic from field of artificial intelligence, machine vision and neural networks in construction of an automatic number plate recognition system. (ANPR). This problematic includes mathematical principles and algorithms, which ensure a process of number plate detection, processes of proper characters segmentation, normalization and recognition. Work comparatively deals with methods achieving invariance of systems towards image skew, translations and various light conditions during the capture. Work also contains an implementation of a demonstration model, which is able to proceed these functions over a set of snapshots.
Measurement of basic parameters of gas filters
Medek, Pavel ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with establishment of parameters of the PPI filter material using methods of image analysis. The first part is aimed at general methods used in practice, an overview of splitting into filter clasification and characterization of the PPI filter material. The second part represents an introduction to problems of machine vision. There are outlined basic methods of image processing. Last parts of the thesis study the method using detection of bright light levels. The measurement and interpretation of results is performed with the PPI material - types 10/6 and 10/12. For image processing is used the MATLAB program, version 7.0.1.
Counting of characteristic scales of sand lizards in colour images
Maršala, Štěpán ; Štursa, Dominik (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes the design and implementation of a program for counting secondary scales in the image data of the ventral sides of the bodies of sand lizards. The program respects the requirements of scientists from the Institute of Vertebrate Biology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University for the controllability and accuracy of results. The program consists of several parts. In input receives photos of sand lizards, in which he cuts out an area of interest. Unifies the orientation of these sections using detected objects. Object detection is provided by YOLOv4. Another part of the program called the Centroid Detector determines the position of the centers of the secondary scales in the unified sections. This part uses the U-Net convolutional neural network, which is specially modified to detect the centers of objects in close proximity. The other parts of the program divide the detected positions of the scale centers into left and right secondary rows and write their numbers to the output file.
Design of control system for belt conveyor
Lauko, Matúš ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Andrš, Ondřej (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with conveyor belt control design. Control system is created in LabVIEW environment. Application uses machine vision for monitoring objects on the conveyor belt. In the first part there is theoretical background. In the next parts there are described design, implementation and verification of created control system.
Machine Vision Methods for Traffic Signs Recognition
Zátopek, Michal ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with an issue of machine vision in the field of traffic signs recognition. The first part is devoted to machine vision in general traffic situations. Together with traffic applications there is paid attention to a possible autonomous vehicle and applications for the traffic signs recognition. The main part of this work is devoted to a description and an implementation of several methods for colour and pattern localisation of traffic signs in the scene and to identification algorithms. Apart from the implementation itself, these algorithms are submitted to several experiments for a valorisation of their success. The thesis also includes a gallery of images with traffic signs including a file with descriptive annotation for an automatic testing of algorithms.
