The thesis deals mainly with all the aspects having an impact on the interpreter's setting at primary and secondary schools and colleges. Whether special schools or mainstream schools with deaf students integrated. In the theoretical part, we can learn about characteristics of educational interpreting, development of this type of interpreting in the Czech Republic and the situation in interpreting in 1991 and since that year until now. Most of the work deals with the individual factors that influence the quality of simultaneous interpretation in general way. From these factors, I chose those that were specific to sign language interpreting in the area of education. To have an idea of what the current situation in the education of interpreters is, I interviewed 5 interpreters - one of each secondary school or college. In the practical part we will find a questionnaire survey of 19 Czech sign language interpreters working in the field of education. This survey aims to determine whether the factors have anticipated impact on interpreters in education during the interpretation process, and if so, to what extent. Keywords: deaf, interpreting for the deaf, educational interpreting, hearing impairment, factors influencing interpretation, Czech sign language. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
