The Portrayal of German Culture in German-Language Textbooks

Diese Magisterarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Kulturbegriff und seiner Vermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Der erste, eher theoretische Teil dieser Arbeit, erläutert die Entwicklung und wissenschaftliche Auffassungen dieses Begriffs näher und macht dann seine Rolle und Funktion im Fremdsprachenunterricht transparent. Zugleich wird auch auf die Problematik der interkulturellen Kompetenz eingegangen, die oft gerade im Zusammenhang mit der Kulturvermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht auftaucht. Im zweiten, eher praktischen Teil, wird eine Analyse ausgewählter Lehrwerke für den Unterricht Deutsch als Fremdsprache durchgeführt, die sich auf ein Kulturmerkmal der deutschen Kultur- Verhaltensmuster im Alltag- und seine Vermittlung konzentriert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Möglichkeiten der meisten der analysierten Lehrwerke, die Entwicklung der interkulturellen Kompetenz bei tschechischen Schülern zu unterstützen, begrenzt sind. Die Persönlichkeit des Lehrers spielt eine wichtige Rolle, weil er den interkulturellen Ansatz im Unterricht Deutsch als Fremdsprache mit Hilfe von ergänzenden Materialien erreichen kann. Cultural educational activities in libraries of Pilsener region

Bakalářská práce podává přehled o pořádání kulturně vzdělávacích aktivit v knihovnách Plzeňského kraje. Úvodní část je věnována definování klíčových pojmů. Zaměřuje se na systém knihoven ČR, jejich aktivity, komunitní roli a Plzeňský kraj. Druhá kapitola se zaobírá Studijní a vědeckou knihovnou v Plzni, její historií a funkcemi. Dvě služby jsou rozebrány podrobněji, vzdělávání pro knihovníky a výkon regionálních funkcí. Ve třetí části je vybráno deset knihoven Plzeňského kraje, u kterých je sledována jejich kulturně vzdělávací činnost. Následuje shrnutí vycházející ze statistik a informací poskytnutých samotnými knihovnami. V závěru jsou zmíněny výhody a nevýhody programů pro čtenáře a doporučení pro knihovny, jak se mohou vypořádat s ubývajícím zájmem, konkurenty a přizpůsobit se době.

Title: School rules as a tool for school management. This bachelor thesis attempts to answer the following question: What features must the document of school rules have to be an effective tool for school management? It is assumed in my work that the school rules can serve as an effective tool for school management. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the analysis of literature and related terminology. It aims to search the areas, in which it is possible to support the efficiency of school rules. In the practical part of this thesis, then, the defined hypotheses are subjected to criticism, which is based on both a questionnaire research elaborated among the principals of elementary schools and on an analysis of chosen examples of particular school rules. The results can serve as an interesting input and reflection for the school management in the issue of functioning, as well as benefits of school rules. Key words: school rules, school management

The German way of putting up with the communist past in view of the Federal Authority for the Archives of the GDR State Security Service

The diploma thesis "The German way of putting up with the communist past in view of the Office for study of STASI dossiers" deals with balancing the communist past in Germany, it analyses the Office for study of STASI dossiers' (Gauck office) conception. The question of balancing the past is in German milieu oriented primarily towards the National Socialist era. In case of the Communist past Gauck office arose in 1992. This institution looks after the chancery of communist State security, simultaneously gives information from the dossiers to victims of the former regime. Balancing with totalitarian past is not a single- but a continual process and the Gauck office should reach the point by analyzing of materials it holds. Exceptionality of this institution lies in the fact that it serves as a model for other middle European countries. This project will focus on an analysis of historical preconditions for genesis of this institute. Also, it won't avoid the political debates influencing the final shape of Gauck office, including the future of its incorporating into the National Chancery.

An outline of numerical functions in Tanak

This essay deals with the function of the numerical relations within the Hebrew Bible(Tanak). It proceeds on three levels. The first level presents the formative function of numbers, which by means of of gematria influences the shape of proper names and numerical data. The second level is concerned with the compositional function of numbers, important for the formal aspect of poetic texts in particular. Any numerical datum is carrying out this function through deliberate number of forming elements (i.e. sections, words and letters). The third level focuses on the kerygmatic function of numbers, opperative by commonly shared symbolism and illustrated by several historiographic and apocalyptic texts. An analysis on the spectrum of shapes of German pottery at a housing estate in Pasohlávky

My study is about shape spectrum of the pottery found at the settlement in Pasohlávky (late region of Břeclav). It is a germanic settlement, dating to a Roman period (-10 B.C. - 400 A.D.), situated in south Moravia. The purpose of this study is to identify shapes of pot shards discovered in the settlement structures such as cottages and settlement pits. In the analytical part I compare the shapes of vessels and a ratio of shards of pots, dishes, terins, stored-food vessels and other shapes. I also attempt to establish the number of vessels in the settlement. In the last part I describe the function of the vessels and their significant value in common life of germanic families.

Internet magazine as a specific communications vehicle

This work presents theory of internet periodicals. There is a presentation of new media in the introduction. The next chapters bring the characterisation and the typologies of internet periodicals and look for the occasions of new functions. Main attention is devoted to webzines as the most progressive communications vehicles. This work confirms validity of remediation theory, judges the trend of web 2.0 and aims at the possition of internet periodicals in potential renaissance of public society. The work also brings the ideas of future development of internet periodicals in way of a semantic web.

Mask in the Šumava region as a socio-cultural phenomenon

Svou pozornost jsem v této diplomové práci zaměřila na oblast masopustních a karnevalových tradic. Zajímal mne především samotný obsah a původ těchto obyčejt1, který je velmi široký a nabízí velké množství přístupů a způsobú zpracování. O jejich přiblížení jsem se pokusila v první teoretické části diplomové práce. Na základě odborné literatury z oblasti antropologie, sociologie, etnologie a folkloristiky či teorie kultury a literární teorie jsem se snažila ukázat nejen púvod a kořeny těchto zvykll, ale i základní principy a aspekty masopustních pruvodiL Především j sem zdůraznila motiv svátečnosti, jenž je důležitým atributem těchto rituálú, velký akcent jsem kladla na herní principy a dúležitou roli smíchové kultury pro rozvíjení masopustní tradice od dob středověku, zároveň jsem poukázala na společenskou funkci těchto obyčejú, spočívající v upevnění a posílení vzájemných mezilidských vztahl!. V teoretické části jsem se dále zabývala masopustními obchúzkami voblasti Čech a Moravy. Snažila jsem se vykreslit jejich historii, pruběh a popsat tradiční masky, které se na našem území nejčastěji objevovaly či stále objevují. Teoretické poznatky jsem se posléze pokusila uplatnit na konkrétním příkladě masopustních pruvodiL Volila jsem oblast Pošumaví, především jsem se zaměřila na obce Hrádek u Sušice a Mokro...

Library as an educational centre of region

Diplomová práce se zabývá veřejnými knihovnami a jejich vzdělávací rolí v informační společnosti. Primárním cílem práce je analyzovat vzdělávací funkci veřejných knihoven a nastínit perspektivy jejich rozvoje v oblasti celoživotního vzdělávání. Dalším cílem práce je prezentovat konkrétní vzdělávací program Univerzity volného času, který autorka organizačně zabezpečuje v Krajské knihovně Vysočiny v Havlíčkově Brodě, a uveřejnit praktické zkušenosti získané při realizaci projektu. Diplomová práce je rozložena do pěti kapitol. Úvodní kapitola pojednává obecně o veřejných knihovnách jako o moderních informačních, vzdělávacích a kulturních centrech regionů. Druhá kapitola objasňuje podstatu celoživotního vzdělávání a zdůvodňuje jeho potřebnost pro rozvoj informační společnosti i každého jedince. Vzdělávací rolí veřejných knihoven a jejich příležitostmi v oblasti vzdělávání dospělých se zabývá třetí kapitola. Na předchozí teoretické pasáže navazuje prakticky zaměřená kapitola s popisem vzdělávacího projektu Univerzity volného času. Závěrečná kapitola předkládá obecné závěry, koncepční a metodická doporučení vycházející z vlastních zkušeností autorky.

Název diplomové práce ?Vývojové tendence současné rodiny? napovídá, že se studie zabývá charakteristikou rodiny v současnosti. Úvodem definuje pojem ?rodina?, vymezuje její smysl a sleduje soubor činností a opatření státu, která směřují k podpoře rodinných funkcí. Analyzuje vliv rodinné politiky na úroveň plodnosti a porodnosti. V rámci tématu manželství pojednává o volbě životního partnera, dochází k zamyšlení se nad motivy, které vedou pár k rozhodnutí vstoupit do vztahu manželského. Prostřednictvím časových řad a využitím komparativní metody analyzuje sňatečnost v České republice. Hodnotí proměny rodinného života. Sleduje nesezdaná soužití a pojednává o okolnostech, jež byly důvodem pro rozhodnutí páru žít společně, aniž by uzavřeli sňatek. Dále se práce zabývá diferenciací rolí v rodině (tzn. k jakým změnám vnitřní struktury rodiny dochází). Závěrečná kapitola je věnována analýze rozpadu rodiny a jeho vlivu na vývoj jednotlivce.
