The bachelor thesis analyzes and assesses the marketing mix of Prague City Apartments, s.r.o. It is focused on functioning of customer service as a part of the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The analysis is based on theoretical knowledge of marketing of services and CRM and on the importance of customer service in rendition of services, particularly in tourism and hotel industry. The thesis provides, via SWOT analysis, suggestions for improving quality of customer service - a tool for building relationships with customers.

Revenue Management of Hotel Chain

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is the analysis of the effectiveness of Revenue Management in selected hotels of the hotel chain CPI Hotels. Through the theoretical knowledge author analysed the comprehensive methods and approaches of the Revenue management used in the hotel industry. The entire theoretical part summarizes the most important facts of the Revenue Management. The second, practical part is focused on more detailed analysis of the Revenue management approaches. Deeper are analysed results of the hotels in a period of five years, which are also compared with the overall average performance of the Prague market. Following information of selected indicators and used methods in last subchapter presents the evaluation and possible suggestions to improve the efficiency. The individual views of the improvement have especially subjective attitude of the author and may therefore be considerably limited with hers experience. These proposals could have a positive impact on the hotels management of increasing their occupancy and revenue optimization.

Social and Cultural Aspects of Management in India

Goal of this diploma thesis is to indentify social and cultural aspects of management and the work environment in India. It is concerned with perception of the indian management and work environment of the indian companies by representatives of the czech culture. The thesis analyses problematic areas in the communication and interaction of both cultures. The problems are different peception of time, time managemnt, strategic planning, autoritative leading, formal communication, motivating and different view on emancipation. The result of the research are few advices to representatives of both cultures regarding problematic areas which are mentioned above, for example manager training, teambuildings, etc.

Human resources as one of determinating factors for image and prosperity tourism plants

First part of essay is theoretical. It deals with human resources and requirements on staff in restaurants. In the second part essay there is analysis of data obtained in survey. Questionaires included questions about visiting restaurants, preferences of quests depanding on staff behaving, frequency visits, gratuity, ... Second part essay includes conclusions from research practising in restaurants and recommendations for owner restaurants, staff and quests too.

Statistical analysis of the development of tourism in Kutná Hora region and its prospects

The bachelor work analyzes the development of tourism in the most important sights of Kutná Hora. In the theoretical part are defined important terms and organizations that contribute to the development of tourism. The development of number of visitors (cathedral of saint Barbora, church Všech svatých with ossuary and kathedral Nanebevzetí Panny Marie a sv. Jana Křtitele) is at first characterised by means of basic characteristics of time series. The estimates of the number of visitors in the year 2016 are then calculated by using trend functions. There were used three of them linear, quadratic and exponential and then, based on the highest value of the determination index, the one that best corresponds with the trend in the number of visitors was chosen. Next, the development in the number of collective accommodation facilities, rooms and beds in the district of Kutná Hora between the years 2009 and 2014 was researched. After that, the development of the number of guests and overnight stays in the years 2013 and 2014 was analysed and the total number was divided into two categories residents and nonresidents. Based on the analyzes were formulated suggestions and recommendations for further development of tourism in the region of Kutna Hora. The underlying data for these analyses were obtained from the Czech Statistical Office, the Roman Catholic parish archdeanery Kutná Hora and the Roman Catholic parish of Sedlec.

This bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to a study of order processing in selected company, concretely by Otis a.s, which deals with manufacturing and developing of escalators, Trav-O-lators and elevators. The thesis analyzes actual order processing in the company and specifies particular business processes. Consecutively it indicates new suggestions for improvement, which should shorten order’s processing in the company.

Thesis analyses the system, aims and factors of remnuneration in a particular company in order to propose improvement and conlude new ways of remuneraton.Thesis defines terms like motivation and stimulation, characterizes wage and salary and their common signs. In the next part thesis describes advantages and disadvantages of different categories of the wage. Thesis also includes part that concerns incorrenct method of appraisal of the employee. In the final part thesis introduces chosen company, whose system of remuneration is the subject of the master thesis.Thesis analyses this system in accordance with the structure of norms of the company. It also presents the suggestions how the system could be improve.
