Millová, Katarína ; Lacko, D. ; Pástorová, I. ; Pecková, A.
Generativity as creativity, productivity, and care for other people or transmitting values to future generations is an important developmental task that should be completed during adulthood. Young adulthood is very important for its development since some aspects may reach its peak just at the beginning of adulthood. The aim of the research was to gain insight into generativity in young adulthood in the context of other personality characteristics. Sample consisted of 54 university students (24 women, average age 21.4 years) who completed the online questionnaire: LGS - generative concern, GBC - generative behavior, Gen-Current – generativity structure, Inventory of the Dimensions of Emerging Adulthood, Social SOC Questionnaire, and Self-Concept Clarity Scale. Generativity - Current Questionnaire has been used in the sample of young adults for the first time. It describes social, cultural, technical and environmental generativity. Factor analysis (varimax rotation) did not confirm the existence of these types as individual factors. Correlation analysis revealed a relationship between generativity and experimentation/possibilities, self-focus (LGS and Gen-Current), other-focus (Gen-Current), /nand social self-regulation (GBC, Gen-Current). For self-concept clarity was confirmed no significant relationship. We have not identified any gender differences in generativity. The strongest predictor of generativity was social self-regulation (generative concern), experimentation/possibilities (generative action) and self-focus (generativity structure).

Identity, lifestyle, and motivation of change lifestyle of homeless youth
MAREK, Jakub
The dissertation "Identity of young homeless person, its lifestyle and its motivation to change it" presents part of the results of the research grant "Psychosocial determinants of homelessness of young people", in which I contributed with Professor Vágnerová. The complete results can be seen in a monograph entitled "Homelessness as alternative existence of young people"(Vágnerová, Csémy, Marek, 2013). The dissertation attempts to describe homelessness as a process consisting of three parts. The first part ("pre-homelessness") follows primary factors of homelessness which means one person's "downfall"resulting in life on the street and reasons of homelessness. The second part ("in-homelessness") follows secondary factors that keep one person in the status of homelessness. The third part of the process ("post-homelessness") follows the reintegration process and tertiary factors which are barriers in the reintegration process. This division is being distinguished in both the theoretical as well as in the practical part. The theoretical part is divided into brief description of psychological theories, which may explain behavior of homeless people and into results of foreign research, which deal with the homelessness of young people. In the practical part we primarily follow descriptive quantitative part, which quantitatively describes life of homeless people. In the qualitative part, which is based on analysis (inspired by the Grounded Theory) of stories of former homeless people, I put together an adaptation and reintegration model of young homeless people. The findings of the quantitative part show that results of foreign research are similar to our research sample, except for some details (especially when it comes to U.S. population). The findings of the qualitative analysis discovered that respondents go through a negative impulse (devaluation of lifestyle) and through a positive impulse (discovery of a value outside of homelessness), through discovery of options how to reach this value, and how to obtain ability and skills to reach a change.

In the empirical part I set the goal to evaluate the quality of life of students of Health Education program. The research was done by survey with the help of questionnaire WHOQOL ? BREF and couple of my own questions. What I evaluated from the results of this survey is that most of the students are in a good state of health and 93, 2% of them are satisfied with their health and environment in which they live. 97, 2% of respondents find their quality of life quite good or even very good. It was clear from the answers of the last part of the questionnaire that more than half of respondents live by the rules of healthy lifestyle, or they at least try to. The final part of my thesis holds the answers to my goals and the research questions. After comparing the results of all three grades I came to a conclusion that students of second grade were the most affected by the program ?Health Education?, and the influence was positive. The results are an interesting probe to the life of students attending a relatively young program "Health Education".

The issues of a young adult individual?s self-concept within the Czech society and a social worker?s support with dealing with them
JELÍNKOVÁ, Eva
The thesis deals with the problems of a young adult human being's self-concept from the psychological point of view. The influence of the social elements on the start in an adult life can be observed through individualism, consumerism and quality of life, which all affect the two most important parts of life ? the work and human relations. The main part of the thesis focuses on the self-concept issues of a young adult in correlation to the (dis)satisfaction in the social roles as all the roles include various expectations. The dissatisfaction can be caused by preferring the ideal "myself" which is not in accordance with the actual requirements of the social environment. This can have a negative impact on the self-concept and individual's functioning within the community and society. The individual turns his attention to the social worker when having self-concept problems that might result in mental difficulties. The theoretical starting points are applied to some particular areas of the social work (social work with the young adults, social work with families, marital and family consultancy).
