Tato práce se zabývá absolventkami vysokých škol, jejich pracovními aspiracemi a představami o rodinném životě. V teoretické části je nejprve nahlédnuto na vysokoškolské vzdělání českých žen z hlediska historického vývoje a také na současnou situaci v českém terciárním vzdělávání v souvislosti s počty studujících žen. Dále je věnována pozornost vzdělanostním aspiracím žen a jejich motivaci k vysokoškolskému studiu. Vysokou školu studentky obvykle ukončují během životního období, které je dle vývojové psychologie označováno jako mladá dospělost. Práce se tedy zabývá přechodem mladých lidí do dospělosti a popisuje specifika tohoto období z pohledu ženy. Mladí lidé především vstupují do pracovního života, přijímají svou novou pracovní roli a osamostatňují se od rodiny. Od ženy je také očekáváno, že se po ukončení studia stane matkou. Dnešní absolventky vysokých škol tedy musí velmi často řešit problém harmonizace jejich pracovní a mateřské role. V praktické části práce jsou předloženy názory čtyř mladých absolventek vysoké školy. Jejich postoj k naplňování úkolů tohoto životního období byl zjišťován prostřednictvím hloubkových rozhovorů. Ženy popisovaly především období studia vysoké školy a jejich motivaci ke studiu. Dalšími tématy rozhovoru byl moment ukončení studia a jejich vstup do pracovního života. Na závěr byl zjišťován průběh procesu osamostatňování se těchto žen od rodičů a představy o budování jejich vlastní rodiny, o jejich mateřské roli a možnostech sladění této role s jejich pracovními aspiracemi. This thesis deals with the women-graduates, their working aspirations and their conception of a family life. In the theoretical part the university education of Czech women is described, in terms of historical development and also and the current situation of the Czech universities, in terms of number of women studying there. In the next part the attention is paid to the women's level of education aspirations and their motivation for studying. Students usually finish their education during the period of life, which is referred to as a young adulthood according to the evolutionary psychology. The thesis deals with the transition of young people into adulthood and describes the specifics of this period, from the perspective of women. Young people in particular enter into their working life, accept their new job role and become independent. Young woman is also expected to become mother after finishing her education. Today's young women must solve the dilemma. They have to decide for their work or for their maternal role. Usually they try to harmonize them. In the practical section the opinions of four young women - graduates are presented. Their attitudes to this life period were found out by means of the depth interview. Women mainly described the period of the university study and their motivation for studying. The other topics of the interview was the moment of graduation and their entry into working life. Finally the process of achieving independence from parents was found out, also the conception of establishing their own families, their maternal role and the idea about coordination this role with their job aspirations.
