Sanctions as an incentive for the development of domestic production in the Russian Federation
Shamaeva, Marina ; Čajka, Radek (advisor) ; Bolotov, Ilya (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the impact of the economic sanctions imposed against Russia on the development of domestic production of the country. The aim of this work is to identify the causes and nature of sanctions against Russia and to determine their impact on the economy and production of Russia in particular sectors. The bachelor thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter presents the assumptions and causes of the sanction against Russia. The second chapter describes the impact of the sanctions on the Russian's economy and on the countries that imposed the sanctions, and describes the success of the sectoral import substitution. The last chapter is practical and focuses on detecting the impact of sanctions and import substitution on Russian companies.
Pupils' problems when solving problems requiring substitution
Schánělec, Jan ; Vondrová, Naďa (advisor) ; Novotná, Jarmila (referee)
Title: Pupils' problems when solving problems requiring substitution Abstract: The work focuses on 8th and 9th graders' difficulties and mistakes when solving problems using substitution. The theoretical part defines the used concepts and discusses selected results from international comparative studies and studies focusing on substitution. The main goal of the work is to identify pupils' difficulties and mistakes they make when solving problems using substitution and to discover their origin or cause. To achieve this goal the empirical part begins with an analysis of three sets of textbooks used by pupils involved in this research study. This is followed by a description of conducting and subsequent analysis of fifteen clinical interviews on problems with substitution with 14 to 15 year old pupils (9th graders from elementary schools and 3rd graders from lower secondary grammar schools). In the final part the most common mistakes are summarised and relations to their possible origin in the set of textbooks used looked for. The conclusion is that pupils do not have problems with substitution as such when substituting natural numbers into first power variables. However, this does not hold for substitution of variable in the second power. Pupils have problems when substituting for a variable with a negative...
An impact of incapacitation of a limited company upon legal theory and practice
Kříž, Josef ; Čech, Petr (advisor) ; Pelikán, Robert (referee)
OF DIPLOMA THESIS An impact of incapacitation of a limited company upon legal theory and practice Author: Josef Kříž Supervisor: JUDr. Petr Čech, LL.M, Ph.D. Department: Department of Commercial Law The main purpose of my thesis was to analyse the significant change in the concept of limited company, i.e. old-new concept of the members of statutory body as agents of the company. However, I conceived a thesis more generally as analysis of the question of whether the New Civil Code and the Business Corporations Act incapacitated limited company or not. The thesis is divided into five main chapters, including an introduction and a conclusion. In the second chapter I try to reconstruct legal thinking of First Czechoslovak Republic on this issue, because its reference by the New Civil Code. Although views on the status of a statutory body of legal persons and the legal capacity of a legal person were different, I came to the conclusion that there was more or less consensus that members of statutory body are agents of legal persons. Regarding the legal capacity of a legal person, then it can be concluded that the doctrine of the First Czechoslovak Republic concluded either that the legal person is a person incompetent, or that the legal capacity is not by definition characteristic of legal person. In the...
Synthesis of new guaiazulene derivatives
Počtová, Žofie ; Kotora, Martin (advisor) ; Smrček, Stanislav (referee)
Synthesis of new guaiazulene derivates (abstract) This bachelor thesis concerns preparation of new guaiazulene derivates. The purpose of this work was to try some already known reactions and some new ones. Acylation of guaiazulene was carried out and was followed by oxidation, decarboxylation, allylation, and Diels-Alder reaction of the prepared guaiazulene derivates. The desired products were obtained in acylation, oxidation, and allylation reactions. Characterization of the prepared substances was performed by using NMR, IR or MS techniques.
Lost in Translation - Comparison of Czech translations of The Da Vinci Code
Vébrová, Lucie ; Janovec, Ladislav (advisor) ; Holanová, Radka (referee)
Bachelor thesis describes the problems of translation experience which are then specified and analyzed in text translation of the novel The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It focuses mainly on proper names, anagrams, puzzles, riddles and puns, substitutions, terms, idioms, neologisms, supplemented by information beyond the original, omissions from original text, units conversions, cultural differences, formality and informality and last but not least, the mistakes in translation.
Studium magnetismu ve sloučeninách CeTX3
Moudřík, Jan ; Prokleška, Jan (advisor) ; Javorský, Pavel (referee)
Solid solutions of BaNiSn3 type CeTX3 (T and X denote a transition met- al and Si/Ge, respectively) compounds were studied. Polycrystalline samples of solid solutions CeCoxRh1−xSi3 (x = 0.5, x = 0.8, x = 0.9 and x = 1.0) and CeIr(SixGe1−x)3 (x = 0.1, x = 0.4, x = 0.6 and x = 0.8) were successfully grown. A superconducting transition at 0.7-0.9 K was exhibited by all four compositions of the solution CeCoxRh1−xSi3. Based on measurements of specific heat, we con- clude that the superconductivity is probably caused by impurity phases. We have determined crystallographic, thermodynamic and magnetic properties of the solu- tion CeIr(SixGe1−x)3. Magnetic phase transition temperatures were established, the character of the transitions changed significantly in all four compositions, the temperatures themselves did not. 1
Predicting Using of Social Networking Services Based on Using other Media
Stroukal, Dominik ; Jirák, Jan (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
This work based on regression analysis and analysis using uses and gratification theory at the sample of 146 students opens the relationship between the use of online social networks and other media. Analysis comes up with results inconsistent with the theory of niche. The wider are the gratifications provided by online social networks and the wider are their gratification opportunities, the less they were used or not used more. It is also shown that there is a positive relationship between the number of dimension in which the internet social networks compete with other media and a usage of internet social networks. A major conclusion of this work is a negative relationship between the use of online social networks and all other media, including traditional media, with the exception of computer games. A negative relationship against expectations was found between online social networks and online news sites. In addition to these findings some interesting relationships between the use of online social networks and personal characteristics of their users were shown. There is no effect of age, gender or grade point average. Positive effect, however, was found for semester of studies and negative effect of having a job.

Vliv substitucí na magnetokalorický jev u vybraných sloučenin vzácných zemin
Kaštil, Jiří
The anisotropy of the magnetocaloric effect was studied on DyNiAl single crystal. Our data reveal a strong anisotropy of the magnetocaloric effect. The large effect occurs for field applied along the c-axis whereas the entropy change is small for the perpendicular field direction. The influence of substitution on the magnetocaloric effect was measured in the Gd(Co1-xRhx)2 compounds (where x was from 0.05 to 0.30) and Dy(Co1-xFex)2 compounds (where x was from 0.00 to 0.03). The substitution of Co by Rh leads to a decrease of the transition temperature, Tc, and increase of the maximum entropy change. The Tc increases but the maximum of entropy change quickly decreases in case of Fe substitution. The last studied systems were the Gd1-xTbx alloys with x in range from 0.00 to 0.40. The influence of the sample shape and orientation was studied. The thin ribbon oriented along the magnetic filed gave the highest value of the entropy change. The three measurement techniques were used: the heat capacity measurement, the magnetization measurement and the direct measurement of the temperature change.
Taboo and noa in communication. Realization of linguistic taboos in the print media
Junková, Anna ; Chejnová, Pavla (advisor) ; Janovec, Ladislav (referee)
Taboo and noa in communication. Realization of linguistic taboos in the print media. This thesis deals with issues of the taboo and noa in language and communication. The core of this thesis is to identify the essential tabooed themes in contemporary society and ways of their linguistic realization in the print media. In the theoretical part of this thesis is the first explained substance of the terms such as taboo, noa, communication and linguistic taboos with regard to the interrelations between these terms. In the empirical part are then defined tabooed themes occurring in the concrete texts of the diary Mladá fronta DNES and Blesk and of the periodical Rytmus života and ways of their linguistic grasping. The thesis focuses above all on the manifestations of speech restrictions in the lexical plan of the language.
