Changing attitudes of primary school pupils to integration after completing a two-month "Life with Disabilities" programme

Title: Changing attitudes of primary school pupils to integration after completing a two- month "Life with Disabilities" programme. Objective: The main aim of the thesis is to explore various possibilities of influencing primary school pupils attitudes to integration of a pupil with disabilities into physical education lessons. Method: Using the CAIPE - CZ and Adjective - Checklist questionnaires a qualitative- quantitative research has been applied to observe a change in primary school pupils' attitude to integration into the physical education lessons once a two-month "Life with Disabilities" programme was completed. A series of topical areas has been presented not only in health education lessons, but also in physical education lessons. The programme also included several sporting events taking place outside the school building and a Paralympic school day. A two-group quasi-experiment research group was formed by the 7th (headcount: 20; average age: 12) and 9th (headcount: 24; average age: 15) years of primary school. Results: The project activities have been carried out within the specified subjects both inside and outside the school building. Computer workstation ergonomics

Long-term work with computer spent in non-physiological position may be the cause of many health problems, but also leads to less performance of the workers. For these reasons, both employees and employers should be concerned about the correct ergonomics of working places and jointly create a healthy and pleasant environment for work. The topic of this thesis is very relevant due to the fact that still more people have been working in administration and with computer. The purpose of the thesis was to determine the level of implementation of ergonomic requirements on workstation for employees working in the office and suggest corrective actions to improve their working conditions. The survey was conducted in the administrative facility of a company, where the employees work in open space offices. Data were obtained using a questionnaire survey and subjective views of the workers were objectively verified by ergonomic measurement of workstations according to the valid legislation. For the research were established the following hypotheses: Hypothesis 1: The Ergonomics of workstations is inconvenient. Hypothesis 2: Workers with health problems of the musculoskeletal system more often sit in a wrong position during work. Hypothesis 3: Length of continuous work with the computer has an impact on the incidence of health problems. Hypothesis 4: Comfort at work is affected by the use of ergonomic aids. After evaluating the results, it was found that the only hypothesis that was confirmed was hypothesis 3. The other hypotheses were refuted. According to the results employees have got appropriate working conditions. T results will be provided to employer, who can make the conditions even more improved and more accurately adjusted. In addition, a flyer will be created as an output for practice, which will contain picture of the correct working position and instructions on how to simply set up the furniture so that the correct position could be reached.

The work is focused on creating a set of teaching materials on the theme "Birds", which are designed for work groups of pupils aged 8-11 years old elementary school under the guidance of a teacher without the presence of the trainer Zoo Hluboká nad Vltavou. File ("teaching package") will provide information and tools used to help demonstrate the approach of the topics dealt directly with exhibitions focusing on birds, guidance and information for teachers and worksheets for children, including solutions. Individual locations are related with biogeography and apply to the specific environment selected birds groups.
Analysis of the process of education of pupils with moderate mental disabilities focusing on innovative teaching methods, modern digital technologies and formative special pedagogical therapies

Rigorous work deals with the issue of education of pupils with moderate mental disabilities at special elementary schools. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of education of these pupils at special primary schools, the use of traditional and innovative teaching methods, communication methods and supporting pedagogical and rehabilitation methods, and the most frequently used tools. Part of the analysis is to get an overview of using new media in the context of modern digital technologies in practice as well as the possibilities of including special pedagogical therapies in the educational process of pupils with moderate mental disabilities. Given the trends of contemporary Czech education, the problem of involvement of pupils with moderate mental disabilities in out-of-school activities is included in the analysis. Part of the analysis is the attitude of teachers of special schools towards inclusion. Then evaluate the current options, the advantages of using modern methods and technologies, and alternatively draw attention to possible shortcomings. TITLE: Development of phonemic hearing in kindergartens AUTHOR: Bc. Pavlina Matouskova DEPARTMENT: Department of Primary Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ehler, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The basic prerequisite for coping with educational skills, especially reading, is sufficient development of phonemic hearing in kindergarten. The improvement of the level of phonetic- phonological grade at preschool children can be provided with suitable equipment and methodology for teachers. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of phonemic hearing at children in the last year of preschool education and the related creation of own model of activities and aids. The level of phonemic hearing was carried among children from selected kindergartens. One of them focused on the development of phonemic hearing and worked with the proposed model and in the rest of the kindergartens the prevention of speech therapy was held in accordance with school curricula. Initial analysis was done at the beginning of the school year and comparing of results was done in the second half. System of care for people with deafblindness in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with deafblind people and their lives. The work investigates how the system of care for these people works in the Czech Republic and how the clients themselves are satisfied with this care. The introductory theoretical part provides basic information about dual sensory impairment, it explains the concept of "deafblindness", describes its classification, etiology and diagnosis. Attention is also given to several fundamental pillars of care of people with deafblindness, such as communication, education, social services, career success, socialization, aids, etc. Second part of this thesis consists of research that has been done using questionnaires with aim to determine how the care of the deafblind is implemented in the Czech Republic and how it is evaluated by particular clients. Survey results have provided personal reference of deafblind individuals about services, organizations and aids, about their frequency and availability. EXNEROVÁ, Marie. The Issue of Integration of Foreign Pupils with Focusing on Their Origin Country. Prague, 2014. Diploma thesis. UK, PedF. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current situation of the integration in the Czech education system focusing on the issues and specifics inclusion of foreign pupils and on consideration of the impact of pupils' country of origin on the process. The theoretical part of diploma thesis mentions the reasons for the integration of foreigners. Moreover, it highlights why and from where they are coming to the Czech Republic. It captures the current legislation and the rights of foreigners who want to settle permanently in the Czech Republic. Further, it shows the analysis of different ways of educating pupils with special needs, the placement of foreign pupils at Czech elementary schools and intercultural differences, which may have impact on pupils' integration. The practical part focuses on comparing the available theoretical knowledge and the everyday reality of Czech teachers who teach foreign pupils and can work on their daily practice. Preparation of engaged couples for marriage in selected vicariates HK Diocese

The diploma thesis shows the current state and level of marriage preparation of the engaged couples within the Hradec Kralove diocese border region. The thesis examines and evaluates the status of the preparations in four vicariates in connection with the related church documents. The particular vicariates together with the qualified personnel are introduced and number of marriages for the past ten years is listed for a reference. The thesis characterises four different types of engaged couples and introduces several types of preparations. The current state of the preparations in the region is surveyed and findings are presented in the thesis. Among the preparations guided by a priest the thesis describes additional tools and techniques complementing the preparations. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to these complementary preparation tools and techniques which are presented, compared and evaluated here. The diploma thesis notices preparation of engaged couples with respect to the formation of the future family, which is encouraged by the thesis.
