Koníčková, Lucie
The aim of this thesis is to propose method of implementing the basic framework of the model Balanced Scorecard as a management system in the strategic management of an engineering company. In the literature review are clarified terms strategic management and business performance measurement and is described the issues of Balanced Scorecard method. Based on the results of the strategic and financial analysis are defined strategic objectives, which are connected by cause-effect relations to a strategic map. Measures, desired future values and specific strategic actions are assigned subsequently to their targets. In the end, there is a time and cost analysis of creation and implementation BSC model in company XY.

Bcl-2 proteins and their role in outer mitochondrial membrane during apoptosis
Markupová, Lucie ; Novotný, Jiří (referee) ; Švandová, Ivana (advisor)
Apoptosis is a form of programmed cell death. It is physiological mechanism mediating catabolism of eucaryotic cells and is characterised by specific morphological and biochemical processes. It targets and destroys cells directly and afterwards eliminates cell without any demage to other nearby cells. Contrary of the apoptosis, necrosis affects more or less any random cell. Apoptosis is strictly organized and controlled process. A critical control point in apoptosis constitute proteins of the Bcl-2 family. These protein are able to adjust permeability of external (outer) mitochondrial membrane (OMM) which is an important step ahead of the whole process. Bcl-2 family proteins are usually divided into three groups. Two groups are pro-apoptotic and one group is anti-apoptotic. Pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins are generally increasing permeability of outer mitochondrial membrane which leads to the release of cytochrome c and other proteins (SMAC/Diablo) from mitochondria. When cytochrome c is released frm mitochondria, it activates the assembly of the apoptosome in the cytosol that activated executive caspase. On the other hand, anti-apoptotic proteins deactivate pro-apoptotic proteins and regulate their function.

The Position of the Presidents in Political Systems of Poland, Lithuania and Romania
Javůrek, Petr ; Mlejnek, Josef (advisor) ; Sokol, Petr (referee)
Postavenípresidentů vpolitickém systému Polska, Litvy a Rumunska After the fall of communism in East Central Europe many countries introduced, during the transitional period, the direct election of the president. This represents a solid reason to consider them being semi-presidential, since popular election of the head of state is a main component in all of the definitions of this regime type. The shape of institutions and internal logic of semi-presidentialism differs more or less from presidential or parliametary systems. Alike presidentialism, semi-presidential type of government is also based on dual legitimacy - both executive (at least its part, the president) and legislative are elected by people and can call for democratic legitimity - while parliamentarism is chiefly based on dominance of the legislation and lacks the separation of powers. This diploma work, titled The position o f the presidents in political systelms o f Poland, Lithuania and Romania, tries to underline main aspects of role of the presidents in three East Central European countries. These countries hasve been chosen for several reasons: all of them had at least short historical experience with democracy, adopted the direct election of the president during transfation toward democracy and are similar to each other concerning...

The theoretical section explains communication and advertising, attitudes, their function, changes and formation and also focuses on attitudes towards advertising and their impact on the effectiveness of advertising. In the practical part, there was done my own research on the advertising of cosmetic products and the target group of women. The methodology description is followed by secondary and primary research into general attitudes towards advertising and the effect of selected ads on cosmetics in the target group. In conclusion, the analysis of relationship between attitudes on advertising and advertising effects was done, the results were evaluated and possible implications for practice were suggested.

Activation Programs for Children and Youth as Prevention of Social Exclusion
Bednářová, Natálie ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Kuchař, Pavel (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on work with children and youth who come from a socially disadvantaged and culturally diverse environment within the scope of their leisure time with regards to their future employment within a society. Primarily, the thesis discusses a positive influence on socialization of children and youth by activation programs in the context of low-threshold-organized streetwork and social work. I am interested in this kind of problematics and I have been working as a volunteer in this social field. I draw on my personal experience, which is connected to a concrete locality. I build my bachelor's thesis on my personal conviction that activation programs aiming on target group of children and youth in the context of low-threshold-organized street work and social work might play a crucial role in prevention of social exclusion. Security System Based on Intelligent Sensors
Kučera, Vojtěch ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
The main target of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement security system based on intelligent sensors. First part describes basic principles, design and implementation of security systems. Further are explained functions and use of intelligent sensors. The creation of design and implementation process are shown in the next part of the thesis. Security system consists of local system, which is integrated into physical building, and server providing web interface. System monitors its surroundings through intelligent sensors and responds to security incidents. Actual state and events history are available through web interface.

Communication between the Android OS and Arduino Platform
Mychko, Maksim ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating a library for the Android OS which enables efficient wireless communication with platform Arduino. The target is to create an application for Android OS, using a created library that allows you to capture data from various sensors and control effectors. The work describes basic wireless interfaces for Android OS and Arduino platform. The main benefits and drawbacks functions are also introduced. The comparison of current consumption for modules HM-10 and DIGI S1 has been carried out as well. Possibility of data acquisition and effector controlling exercises have been tested and verified.

Influence upon Mobility in Relation to Spatial Orientation of Pupils in Primary and Upper Primary Schools for the Visually Impaired
Koubová, Lenka ; Šumníková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Květoňová, Lea (referee)
The thesis is focused on spatial orientation and independent movement of visually impaired people. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the extent of straight direction deviations concerning visually impaired pupils of primary and lower secondary schools. After analysis of specialized literature a description of current educational system for visually impaired pupils in the Czech Republic follows in the theoretical part. Specific needs related to the field of education of this target group are mentioned. Functional limitation of the visual analyzer influences spatial orientation and independent movement of the visually impaired individual. Therefore the thesis deals with the above mentioned topic and characterises education of the subject called spatial orientation and independent movement. Troubles in the field of motoric movement occur in the group of visually impaired people. This is apparent especially in incorrect walking technique and in deviation from the required straight direction. The research part of the thesis analyses deviations from the straight direction of the visually impaired and intact pupils.

The budgetary allocation of taxes to municipalities

The valuation of Fruko-Schulz s.r.o.
Burian, Vladislav ; Strouhal, Jiří (advisor) ; Smrčka, Luboš (referee)
The purpose of the diploma thesis is to determine the market value of the Fruko-Schulz s.r.o. company, developed for the needs of its important stakeholder to the date of December 31, 2014. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical-methodological part defining the terminology, approaches and methods from the field of business valuation study, and the practical part using the theoretical basis for the actual valuation. After the initial introduction of the company, the strategic and financial analysis is performed, i.e. the current state is described and especially the prospects of the company on the market are discovered. The following compilation of the financial plan and value generators eventually results in the target determination of the market value of Fruko-Schulz s.r.o. company performed in particular through the DCF method.
