The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence

Title: The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence Objectives: To find out which outdoor activities students from selected primary schools in Kladno district are interested in, specifically which outdoor activities they do and which they would like to learn. Furthermore, to find out what experience with outdoor activities students have and to compare results by gender and place of residence. Method: The research has been performed by quantitative method. To support gathering and collecting necessary inputs specific questionnaire was compiled for students of the 9th grade of primary schools. The research sample consisted of 204 respondents. Gathered inputs have been graphically processed and evaluated. Results: Primary schools offer to teach their students outdoor activities more during sports courses, school in nature and school trips than in physical education classes. Most of these students have experience with outdoor activities from school events, mainly with hiking, alpine skiing and motion games in the natural environment. More students have experiences with outdoor activities from outside the school than from the school. School history in Čkyně in the years 1880-1948

The thesis describes the life of pupils at primary school in Čkyně during 1880-1948. The introduction outlines the history of the village, followed by a section on the history of education in the village. The following chapters deal with specific time periods in school life, focused on teachers, pupils and lessons, and on school anniversaries or celebrations that the school organized regularly or exceptionally. This thesis also mentions political and other significant events that took place in those years, and how these events influenced schooling. The most important sources for this work were local and school chronicles.

The Current State of Teaching of Cultivation Education at Primary Level of Basic Schools - Monitoring and Probe Options

In the theoretical part, the thesis maps the occurrence of topics regarding teaching of Cultivation Education in current textbooks as well as occurrence of the same topics in textbooks before the general education program has been introduced for elementary schools. The practical part ascertains the student's knowledge level in field of Cultivation Education and checks the attitudes and opinions of teachers in the same topic. The data are gained using the questionnaire survey in three groups of respondents students of fifth grade of the elementary school, students of the Faculty of Education (future teachers) and teachers of the primary degree of the elementary school. The practical part consists of the research methodology and quantitative research results. The results show that elementary school students' level of knowledge corresponds to the general education program. By research it has also been proven, that elementary school teachers generally do not possess a very positive attitude concerning the Cultivation Education. Future teachers, on the other hand, show much more optimistic relationship to this area of education.

Evaluation and classification in academic physical education

Title: Evaluation and classification in academic physical education Goals: The main goal of this work is to analyze the opinion of the current teachers of physical education on the methods of evaluation and classification in academic physical education within elementary and high schools. How is the relation of the tutors towards classification and verbal evaluation of the students within physical education and what are their main criteria for evaluation. Further, evaluate students questionnaires related to their opinion on given classification. Methodology: The methodology used in this work was a research questionnaire within 20 schools in Prague (10 elementary and 10 high). The first questionnaire, which was created for teachers, had 40 questions where the first 36 had a closed form and the remaining 4 questions had an open form, where respondents answered with their own opinion. The second questionnaire was created for students and had 39 questions. Only one answer was possible for each question. Only the last question had an open form. The questionnaire was focused on the ways of the evaluation of students within physical education, criteria for classification within physical education, scarcities and priorities of these ways of evaluation. Media and Education (based on the material of the selected domestic and foreign surveys of the media educational contents)

This dissertation deals with the problematics of the research of the educative media content, using mainly the data we gathered during surveys carried out between 2003 and 2011. The paper handles several theoretical and methodological aspects of the relationship between media and education, namely the role of educative media in education as such. In the theoretical part we focus mainly on the interdisciplinarity of the subject, i.e. the differences in the media studies and other social sciences perspectives. After a description of the necessary theoretical/methodological framework, an outline of a classification system of educative programmes is proposed that could be useful both in pedagogical and media practise. In the next part of the paper we discuss the current state of the czech public service media education area. The second chapter itself consists of selected researches results carried out in the area of education programmes and contents, some of which the author of this paper collaborated on. Evaluation of the upper grades pupils in the primary school and his influence to motivation to learn

This paper titled "Evaluation of the lower secondary education students and its influence on learning motivation" is focused on the most frequently used methods of evaluation at today's schools. It considers not only evaluation methods complying with students but also relation between evaluation and learning motivation. It includes an analysis of current situation of students' self-evaluation. The whole paper is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part portrays the core essence and the importance of the evaluation, its principles and qualities. It describes some important concepts, such as a pedagogical evaluation and its legal framework. It identifies function and techniques of the evaluation from the school legislation point of view and at the same time it illustrates the current tendencies in its development. It maps some types, forms and evaluation function. It explains in more details motivational function of evaluation as well as self-evaluation.
