Bullying in schools in relation to the school environment

The theme of the thesis is the issue of bullying in schools. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part, the theoretical part deals with definitions of bullying, aggression, introduction to theory of aggression and setting bullying into the social context. In this part there will also be introduced methofological ways of obtaining data for bullying research and theoretical definition of bullying relations between aspects of school environment and bullying. In the practical part will be shown the data analysis of The survey of urban youth in 2015, which will map the relations between bullying and specific aspects of the school environment. Bachelor thesis describes the impact of theater lectors in specific czech theaters and educational methods of their work with a child spectator. In theoretical part of this thesis is defined general problematic of education of the spectator, approach of the theatrical art to the child spectator in particular. Further is presented a goal and content of a work of theater lector and definition of his relation with school environment. Practical part shows two models of impact of theater lectors in czech theatres with focus on educational methods used when working with child spectator. Prevention of aggressive and violent behavior in the selected school environment of primary school with a focus on children at risk of neglect

The intent of this study is to open up the issue of aggressive and violent behavior in the selected school environment of primary school with a focus on pupils at risk of neglect. The main aim is to monitor prevention and cooperation among staff at the school, and simultaneously a relationship of the school to other specialized institutions within a given topic. The theoretical part of the study is concerned with the definition of basic terms related to the issue, above all, how aggressive and violent behavior is defined in the context of the school environment, and how the neglected child syndrome and the term of prevention is defined. This part is based on literature search and the findings from my own experience. In the practical part is presented qualitative research using instrumental case study. The selected research tools are interviews and secondary data analysis, ie. social history and analysis of the school document by which the data are detected and subsequently analyzed. In conclusion, the study summarizes the major findings, observations, it also gives recommendations for improving prevention in the issue. The Charecters of Teacher in Czech Films made after 1989

This thesis focuses on presentation of the teacher in Czech films made after 1989. Within the constructivist approach is the teacher character in the movie social construct presented to the viewer and it can influence the social reality of the viewer and then shape. The author analyzes the character of teachers in selected cinematographic works and then constructs ideal types, which compares with a previously created and modern typologies of teachers. Analysis of the film is focused on the way the teacher character in the film sees the profession of the teacher and what relationships has with pupils. In addition, monitors sociodemographic characteristics of the characters of teachers in movies. Based on the analysis of movies are constructed ideal types of teacher and then are faced with teacher typologies made by J. Prokop, G. Fenstermacher and J. Soltis, Ch. Caselmann and W. O. Döring.
The Analysis of truancy in the region Ústí nad Labem in terms of socio-pedagogical

This diploma thesis discusses the issue of truancy of the primary schools' pupils in the region Ústí nad Labem from the socio-pedagogical point of view. The theoretical part is divided into eight chapters. In the introduction, there are definitions of social pedagogy, schools, compulsory school attendance and truancy. After this, thesis describes division, causes and factors which influence truancy. The thesis also discusses the school environment, family environment, peer groups, prevention and ways of dealing with truancy. In practical part, there are case studies of ten families presented in which their children dealt with truancy. The analysis of case studies is focused on identifying some factors in the families that influenced the truancy and the common way how to deal with it in Ústí nad Labem, the success of interventions and present situation. Subsequently, recommendations for practice were made.
School Climate

The central point of this thesis is the matter of school climate. The text seeks to cover the important features of this phenomenon and to set its theoretical framework. The thesis itself consists of two main parts: theory and research. To understand school climate we cover the terminology in the first chapter of the theoretical part. The second chapter goes into deeper details of school climate such as its structure and effects. In the third chapter, we take a closer look at salient features and factors impacting school climate. Of these features, students and teachers are the most important elements contributing to the school climate and as such are covered most extensively. The last chapter discusses various criterions to assess the pattern of the school climate. The research section is centered around an opinion survey focused on school climate perception from the standpoint of students, teachers, and parents conducted in smaller city high schools. Next to the description of climates observed, the research also compares the key indicators as well as the views of the survey participants.

English abstract The thesis deals with the theoretical and the practical level, the views of adolescents on the issues of the elderly. Represents the characteristics of adolescence and its stages. Describes the basic physical, psychological, emotional and social changes of adolescence and their impact on this age period. Subsequently defines old age, aging, elderly, and the phase of old age. With regard to the stage of old age outlines the basic physical, psychological, and social changes in the period of old age. The third chapter focuses on the issue of the views and attitudes of the society on the elderly and the factors, which affects them. The fourth chapter describes the opinions and attitudes of adolescents to the elderly and the factors which influence. The third and the fourth chapter is enhanced by research with this issue. The final chapter consists of the research of the investigation describing the views of adolescents to the elderly. Rituals in the school environment

Rituals in the school environment, specifically in small schools with composite classes, are the subject of the diploma thesis. The theoretical part describes the environment of the small schools with composite classes in the Czech Republic and the specifics of teaching work in them. They are also discussed the rituals in general terms and the relationship to the hidden curriculum in this part. Specific rituals in contemporary small schools are described in following sections. The research part is conceived as a qualitative analysis of structured interviews with teachers and directors of small schools. The diploma thesis ends with a synthesis of empirical and theoretical part and with interpretation the results. The overlap of topics related to the problem that is mentioned in the conclusion.
Reflection of socialization discrepancies among adolescent clients in social services

This diploma thesis is focused on selected aspects of socialisation of adolescents. It examines natures of interactions of adolescents and adults, emphasises social relations perception and pursues the influence of authority on socialisation processes of this group. The thesis was written in a theoretically-empirical approach, given that the theoretical part clarifies the above-mentioned areas of research. The empirical part, on the other hand, applies the qualitative research design. The respondents group consists of adolescent boys and girls, all of whom are clients of OSPOD (Department of Social and Legal Child Protection) and curators for adolescence. Semi-structured interviews were conducted, analysing the issue of relations with individual socialisation variables and their reflection in the curators' point of view. It is assumed, socialisation processes and interactions are conflicting to a certain extent. In respect to their further development, it is necessary to understand these particular development symptoms and their perceptions. The outcome of this research is further elaborated and discussed in accordance to academic resources. At the end of the thesis, further researches as well as interventions regarding work with adolescents who experience socialisation issues are recommended. The...
