The Gate of Electronic Information Sources of Art On-line at The Janacek Academy of Music and Performings Arts in Brno and Its Services

The theme of this doctoral thesis is the gate for free access to the electronic information resources Art On-line at the Library of The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts /JAMU/ in Brno (see http://knihovna.jamu.cz/index.html or http://dokumenty.jamu.cz/knihovna/eiz). The purposes are analysis and evaluation of the current state of the gate, survey of using information and information services, suggestion of its expansion, suggestion of its organizational and technological innovation and suggestion for completion of electronic information resources. The doctoral thesis consists of seven chapters. The opening part introduces JAMU and the Library of JAMU, the fundamental part presents the gate Art On-line. Chapter 1 The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno introduces milieu of the art academy. From chapter 2 The Library of JAMU - history, development, services and its critical analysis to chapter 4 Electronic information resources at the Library of JAMU the text deals with problems of the library. New Czech information policy

Tématem práce je charakteristika vývoje české informační politiky od 90. let po současnost (počátek roku 2006). Cílem práce je podat stručný historický přehled o vývoji české informační politiky od r. 1990 do r. 2002 a především provést podrobnou analýzu současné informační politiky. Práce analyzuje činnost Ministerstva informatiky ČR, základní vládní dokumenty a legislativní úpravy v této oblasti. Hlavní pozornost je zaměřena na hodnocení jednotlivých prioritních oblastí: dostupných a bezpečných komunikačních služeb, informační vzdělanosti, moderních veřejných služeb on-line a dynamického prostředí pro elektronické podnikání. Práce také zachycuje vazbu na Evropskou unii (iniciativa i201 O, programy podpory a čerpání ze strukturálních fondů) a srovnává ČR v oblasti informační politiky s vybranými postkomunistickými státy (Estonsko, Slovensko a Polsko). V závěru práce je celkově hodnocena úspěšnost české informační politiky a nastíněn její další možný vývoj.

Doporučování zboží ve webových obchodech

Electronic shopping recommendation systems are an integral part of most on-line stores. Nowadays, these systems are usually driven by Market Basket Analysis algorithms and by finding relations within the range of goods offered by the shop. However, for a recommendation system an action-based approach might be a viable alternative. The student will review existing approaches to recommendation based on reinforcement learning algorithms, and implement a prototype of a recommender system for a web store based on the results of the research.

The role of the internet as a medium in commercial communications

The thesis analyzes the impact of the internet on current marketing in the Czech Republic. Its theoretical part characterizes briefly the marketing mix, marketing communications and commercial communications. It focuses especially on the on-line communications and describes the E-Commerce. It also mentions advantages and disadvantages of usage of the internet as an interactive marketing medium. This part also includes description of Czech internet users and the relationship between on-line communications and Czech companies. Practical part is comprised by description of B2B and B2C channels, their advantages and the current situation in the Czech Republic. In this part two companies are introduced and their internet marketing strategies are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the electronic data interchange systems and the running of E-Shop. Practical part also brings suggestions for how to make the internet campaign of these firms better.

Positioning comparison of Concha y Toro product lines

The theoretical part of this paper (chapters 1 to 3) explained the main relevant terms such as marketing, marketing mix, segmentation, targeting, positioning, brand, brand value and brand management. The practical part in its fourth chapter described the charakteristics of wine market in the world and also in the conditions of Czech republic. It also describes the chilean wines market in Czech republic and the local market competition environment. The fifth chapter introduces Concha y Toro winemaking company and also Bacchus company which is importing the Concha y Toro product into Czech republic. Sixth chapter analyses the Concha y Toro product portfolio and introduces the product lines and their role in context of the whole portfolio. This chapter also explains the influence of price and wine specific origin on the product positioning. Chapter seven focuses on more detailed analysis of the offtrade brands. It describes differences in communication activities, product characteristics and distribution channels. It also includes survey on chilean wines offered in some of the chain stores which illustrates the position of Concha y Toro wines on the czech market. Proposal of strategy to increase the sales volume in offtrade is presented as well.

Úloha kurýrních služeb v mezinárodní přepravě

Práce podává přehlednou formou informace o kurýrních službách, jejich charakteristice a okruhu problémů, které s nimi souvisí. Snaží se nastínit možnosti plynoucí z automatizace operací u kurýrních služeb a z problematiky, která s tímto přímo souvisí, jakou je využívání čárového kódu a technologie radiofrekvenční identifikace RFID. Bakalářská práce dále analyzuje služby na poli nejznámější expresní společnosti v České republice - DHL a stručně definuje dokumenty používané v této společnosti v souvislosti s kurýrními službami. Popisuje koloběh zásilky DHL v celém přepravním procesu od místa podání do místa doručení zásilky konečnému adresátovi a uvádí postup rychlého objednání kurýrní služby prostřednictvím DHL on-line objednávky.

A child on the treshold of the 21th century. The role of the safety line in the socialization of the Czech children

Při sledování vlivu společnosti na jedince si většinou všímáme dvoustranných vztahů (dítě - rodina, dítě - škola), jež proces socializace provází. Vliv těchto institucí, skupin a dalších jedinců však není izolovaný, působí souběžně. Osobnost a její sociální pole (Sak, 2000) tvoří dialektickou jednotu. Změna sociálního pole má dopad na proces sociálního zrání a na sociální osobnost jedince. Změna v osobnosti má zase tendenci promítnout se do změny pole. Elementární sociální akty jedinců jsou nejen výpovědi o subj~ktech těchto sociálních aktll, ale též výpovědí o prvcích sociálního pole a o jeho celku. Rozborem procesu socializace jedinců tak můžeme usuzovat na stav celé společnosti. Tato práce ve své teoretické části podává výčet důležitých prvků, jež sociální zrání provázejí a ovlivňují jeho kvalitu. Zároveň si všímá historického vývoje, kterým prošlo dětství a analyzuje ho na pozadí problémll, které socializaci mohou doprovázet. V neposlední řadě se zmiňuje o jednom ze specifických typů pomoci v náročných situacích doprovázejících sociální zrání, která je dětem a mladým lidem k dispozici. Zabývá se tudíž i úlohou a postavením nestátního neziskového sektoru, který v procesu socializace zaujímá. Stejně tak z ní lze alespoň z části získat představu o soudobém českém dětství v kontextu dat z telefonické linky...

Assessment of small machinery for cleaning and tidying according to selected exploitation indicators.

In this thesis is created overview of machinery used for cleaning. The thesis analyzes the exploitation indicators for individual machines. The thesis deals in detail the structure and function of pressure washers, which provides for appropriate indicators for their assessment. The thesis presents measurement results of three selected specific indicators of pressure washers from hobby, middle and professional lines and compares them with each other. At the end of thesis are assessed properties, characteristics and suitability of use of selected pressure washers.

Implementation of methods for measurement of rotational speed using cRIO platform

This diploma thesis implements methods for a measurement of rotational speed. It is implemented on the Compact RIO platform from National Instruments. Corresponding SW is implemented using the graphical programming language G in LabView environment. Developed system uses two different sensors – incremental encoder and tacho sensor for measurements of rotational speed. Thesis further analysis and implements a method for an encoder nonlinearity determination and for its on-line correction. For used methods, effects adding errors into the measurements are evaluated and quantified.

Práce se zabývá elektronickým governmentem a jeho rolí v nově pojaté veřejné správě. Dále hodnotí využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií a rozsah základních on-line služeb eGovernmentu, které jsou dostupné pro podniky a občany. Práce také analyzuje český elektronický government a srovnává ho s novými členskými i kandidátskými zeměmi Evropské unie.
