Theme of transcendency in Educational Programme for Elementary Education and its conception in the school textbooks
Sobotková, Ludmila ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor) ; Stará, Jana (referee)
i ABSTRACT The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out, whether in The Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education there are topics related to transcendence and whether these topics can be found in textbooks for primary schools. Another aim is to suggest recommendations for teachers, how to develop transcendence in pupils of a primary school. The thesis is focused on development of the vertical direction of transcendence. The theoretical part deals with meaning of the term transcendence. Further, The Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education is analysed. In the research part of the thesis there is described preparation and realization of the analysis of textbooks and also presentation and interpretation of the data gathered by this way. This part is complemented by preparation and realization of interviews with younger school- aged children. The realized interviews were concentrated on the observation of respondents' interest in topics related to the vertical direction of the overlap. In the conclusion of the thesis there are introduced specific recommendations for development of vertical transcendence in children of primary schools. The research showed considerable differences in the approach to the phenomenon vertical transcendence. In some textbooks these topics are...
Philosophical faith in Karl Jaspers
Dostál, Václav ; Němec, Václav (advisor) ; Matějčková, Tereza (referee)
Karl Jaspers is a thinker who tries in his philosophy to formulate a non-religious concept of faith. The thesis wants to clarify this "philosophical faith", which constitutes for Jaspers an answer to the question, "by what and toward what shall we live". Jaspers characterizes his philosophical faith as a "faith of a thinking man", which lay in grounds of philosophizing itself. On the one hand, philosophical faith (and philosophy itself) is different from the knowledge and science, because it cannot be reduced to a mere content; on the other hand, it is different from the religious faith and religion itself, mainly because it cannot accept the traditional Christian revelation. Finally, philo- sophical faith can be characterized as a communicative manner of life, which wants to reach the maximum possible level of understanding by all people. Keywords Karl Jaspers, philosophical faith, transcendence, existence, religion, revelation, communication
Theological reflection: Relationship between Christian religion and phenomenons of alternative spirituality
Mužíková, Radka ; Bouma, David (advisor) ; Červenková, Denisa (referee)
The main purpose of the work is to theologically reflect a relationship between christianity and the selected phenomenons of alternative spirituality. Partial goal of this dissertation paper is a theological reflection of this relationship. Human being and its theological- anthropological base is a fundamental connection to this relationship. A uniting component is human dignity which structures an essential princip arising from revelation. The thesis reflects roots of human dignity and its relationship with Trinitarian God and christianity - and life without this bindings. For this purpose an interdisciplinary overlap to communication psychology is used - due to fact, that this model can be applied to revelation. Thanks to this communication model a proces of creating self-approach of person can be outlined and it opens a way to understand empirical perspective of alternativly spiritual followers. Using the model is good to understand the structure and its formation between christianity and alternative spirituality as well. This perspective can be helpful to gain a better view of inner structure of relationship of these phenomenons and its opportunities.

Transcending and its meaning for the socialization and formation process of child's personality
Bravená, Noemi ; Helus, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Pelcová, Naděžda (referee) ; Muchová, Ludmila (referee)
The submitted interdisciplinary dissertation on (outreach) transcendence of the child contains two parts: theoretical and empirical one. The theoretical part analyzes this concept in terms of linguistics, philosophy of education, psychology and religious pedagogy which implies conclusions for education. It also examines the concept of an ideal homo transcendens about which we can speak of a paradoxical and typological significance. In addition to this, the work reflects the care of overlap educators, child and curriculum. The empirical part of this work presents two pre surveys: One on children, the other on adults and children. Here is also presented methodology ready for transcendence term and it has its own specifics in a group interview based on two fictional stories. Qualitative research results are presented in four units: hermeneutical, socializing, emotional- attitudinal and empowermantal. Overlap as part of the education turnover to a child is related to the child together with the turnover in the child and the teacher. KEYWORDS: transcendence, transcending, outreach, child, personality, socialization, typology, metanoia, turning-to-child education
"Platonic motive" in Patočka's philosophy
Jíra, Petr ; Kouba, Pavel (advisor) ; Ritter, Martin (referee) ; Cajthaml, Martin (referee)
The main purpose of the doctoral thesis is to show "platonic motive" in Patočka's philosophy as unitary movement of thought, which exists in Patočka's thought since the thiertes to the sixties of the twentieth century. The aim is motivated by general question of relationship between modern thinking and European philosophical tradition. The thesis pursues to display, that Patočka's thinking makes possible to see and overcome an alienation contemporary European man from European philosophicaly tradition. The doctoral thesis has five chapters. First four chapters interpret socratic and platonic motives in Patočka's philosophy in chronological order (Patočka's philosophy in the thierties; philosophy of the Eternity and historicity; negative platonism; care of the soul and Europe). Chapter five contains intepretation of main question of doctoral thesis, it is question of unity of "platonic motive" in Patočka's philosophy. This question proceeds in three interpretative steps. In the first interpretative step are Patočka's all socratic and platonic motives reduced to three leading thoughts, that represent "platonic motive" as such: thoughts chōrismos, transendence and care of the soul. In second interpretative step the opposition "givenness- freedom" is established as a common core of the three thoughts. The...
Meeting the life and career values in social-pedagogical work
Lindová, Markéta ; Lorenzová, Jitka (advisor) ; Burešová, Karolína (referee)
Meeting the life and career values in social-pedagogical work Abstract: My thesis deals with the possibilities of finding and implementing the values of social pedagogue in the context of his profession and even in the context of the personal life. Its objective is based on an analysis of scientific literature, reflecting own experience and on the qualitative research, to show where and how the helping professionals can find their personal and professional values and how they manage to fulfill them. For these reasons I decided to make a research that would support the content of the theoretical part and was able to bring life caring professionals through finding their innermost attitudes - values, motivations and motives - which are private but in the end affect the quality of their work. Through analysis of the results of semi-structured interviews conducted with social pedagogues it was found that personal values of employees in many ways penetrate into the professional values, the main motivation to pursue social pedagogical work lies in th need of transcendence and that the benefits of this mission in many ways exceeds it caused losses. Key words: Profession of the social pedagogue, client of social pedagogical work, helping professions, professional and personal values, search for meaning, logotherapy,...
Difference of ontological difference in thinking of Martin Heidegger
Dubovec, Marcel ; Novák, Aleš (advisor) ; Novotný, Jaroslav (referee)
DUBOVEC, M.: Difference of ontological difference in thinking of Martin Heidegger (Master's thesis) Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Humanities, Institute for philosophy and religious studies. Supervisor: doc. Mgr. Aleš Novák, Ph.D. The aim of master's thesis consists in explication of ontological difference in Martin Heidegger's thinking. For this purpose is used a dual method of interpretion of difference in the concept of ontological difference. First it is the issue of the difference as such. For the understanding of this idea it is analyzed the text Onto-Theological Constitution of Metaphysics. The second interpretation od difference concentrate on different understanding of ontological difference. The text Basic Problems of Phenomenology is presented as the opposite one, in which the ontological difference is connected with the temporality. The last part of master's thesis concerns the text On the essence of ground. With this the concept of transcendence is introduced as a subject in which the explication of ontological difference leads. Key words: ontological difference, onto-theology, ecstatic-horizontal temporality, Temporality, transcendence, understanding of Being

Enumeration of compositions with forbidden patterns
Dodova, Borjana ; Klazar, Martin (advisor) ; Jelínek, Vít (referee)
Enumeration of pattern avoiding compositions of numbers Abstract The aim of this work was to find some new results for 3-regular compositions, i.e., for those compositions which avoid the set of patterns {121, 212, 11}. Those compositions can be regarded as a generalization of Carlitz composition. Based on the generating function of compositions avoiding the set of patterns {121, 11} and {212, 11} we derive an upper bound for the coefficients of the power series of the generating function of 3-regular compositions. Using the theory of finite automata we derive its lower bound. We develop this result further by defining 3-block compositions. For the generating function of 3-regular compositions we prove a recursive ralation. Besides that we also compute the generating function of compositions avoiding the set of patterns {312, 321} whose parts are in the set [d]. In the last section we prove that the generating function of Carlitz compositions is transcendental.
