Title: Development of balance abilities in period of fundamental training in Teamgym Objectives: The aim of the work is to verify the effect of the interventional movement program with selected Yoga exercises to the level of gymnastic balance skills in the basic stage of Teamgym training. Methods: An interventional movement program has been created aimed at developing the balance of abilities, the program includes yoga exercises. The program was applied in Teamgym training after fifteen weeks. The influence of the intervention was verified by comparing the results of the experimental and control groups in selected tests of balanced abilities. Data analysis was performed using a non-parametric Mann-Whitney test with a determined probability level of 95%. Test selection was demonstrated on the basis of low probands and expected results than normal data distribution. Results: The results of the experimental and control groups, when comparing the differences of the results of the input and output measurements, show an improvement in the performance in the selected tests in both groups. This individual comparison shows that the experimental group improved in the outcome tests, in the Standing On One Leg test, with the eyes open and a total of six probands out of eight improved in the non-standardized...

Effect of the Aerobics Body Express intervention program on muscle strength. Objectives: The goal of the study is to validate the efficiency of the Aerobics Body Express intervention program and analyze its impact on three selected types of muscle strength and three muscle groups. Methods: The three-month intervention program shall be implemented as part of the syllabus of the Aerobics course at Palestra College of Physical Education and Sport. The studied population sample shall consist of 95 second-year students of Palestra College. The effect of the Aerobic Body Express intervention program on the individual types of muscle strength shall be assessed based on the difference in the results of pretests taken before application of the three-month intervention program and posttests taken after its completion. This shall constitute a quasi-experiment. The individual muscle strength types shall be measured using a battery of selected motor tests. To assess the changes in performance from the point of view of statistics, we shall use the signed-rank and Wilcoxon tests. To determine the effect size of the test results, we shall use the Cohen's d coefficient. Results: The measurements demonstrated statistically verifiable changes in all tests for the experimental group. Abdominal muscles tests showed...
Monitoring and promoting the health of people with mental disability in the project Healthy Communities
KOPECKÁ, Iveta
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation and verification of a three-month interventional movement program for people with mental disability. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of people with mental disability, health promotion and familiarization with the Healthy Communities project. The practical part deals with the measured data of the input and output measurements and the effect of the intervention program on the experimental and control group. The aim of the interventional movement program was to meet or approach the research assumptions. In the input measurement BMI 28.33 and in the output 27.67 were measured in the mean values. The spine flexibility was in the entry measurement averaging -12 cm and improved to -9 cm in the output measurement. In the sit-up test, they reached an average of 10 sit-up/ min in the input measurement and improved to 15 sit-up/ min in the output. After processing all measured data, the results showed that the interventional movement program had a positive effect on the probands of the experimental group.
Suggestion and validation of the interventional abdominal muscles improvement program concuded on the ninth class students in secondary school.
SIMANDL, Jakub
The topic of this bachelor thesis is focusing on a problem related to muscular strength of the abdominal muscles of the students ninth grade of elementary school. In the theoretical part of my thesis is manly based on explanation and definition of the problems and on the several publications of recent trends. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to demonstrate the effects of the application of the created interventional movement program and to evaluate the influence of this program with respect to the current statement of muscular strength. A program has been created for the research based on studied literature, publications and own experience The program has been performed by a selected reference group consisting of 20 boys aged 14-15 years. This group has been divided as experimental and control. Only the experimental group was involved in the program. The control group served to validate the results and verify them. The first measurement started at the begining of the biweekly program. The second measurement has been executed one month later and the last measurement at the end of the program. All obtained values has been classified according to the determined standard for the given age category. After the first measurement, the experimental group achieved an improvement of 4.0% and 9.6% at the end of the program. There were no significant changes in the control group. The muscle strengths of the experimental group have been improved due to the inclusion of designed Intervention Program. Keywords:
Rating and comparison of the flexibility of postural muscles using the intervention program in the group of men at the age between 25 and 35 years
TOMÁŠEK, David
This thesis describes therapeutic exercise programme for probands of varied age and background, focused on increasing relaxation of muscles that tend to contract. Tests were conducted in Healthy Lifestyle centre at Faculty of Education of South Bohemian University during academic year 2018/2019. The programme included monitoring of probands, with photographic documentation, anthropometric measurements of height, weight and Body Mass Index, tests of postural muscles via Thomayer and Mathias excercises and other exertions for body posture. Measured data are analysed to assess efficiency of the interventional exercise programme. Since majority of probands displayed improvements in body posture and vertebral column flexibility, it can be stated the programme reached its overall goals
