Specifics of teaching of French as a foreign language of adolescents and adults students at the beginner level A1

The aim of this thesis is to analyze, from general didactic perspective, specifics of French language teaching of adolescent as well as adult students at the beginner level. More specifically, socalled FLE teaching within informal educational environment of a particular language school in Prague is examined. In order to do so, this thesis is divided into two sections. In the first theoretical section, the compilation method is employed, resulting in detailed analysis of selected didactic themes related to the defined aim of the thesis. The second, supporting section consists of specially compiled survey analysis, which focuses on themes covered at the first theoretical part. It is worth noting that perspectives of students are captured as a result of the survey analysis. The major contribution of this thesis is a comprehensive theoretical and practical view on not yet separately compiled methodology of teaching of French language of beginning, predominantly adult students, in the context of Czech informal educational environment.
Transformation of headmaster's role in the process of fusion of elementary schools with preschools

The topic of the thesis is a change of a role of headmaster in the process of merging basic schools and kindergartens. The aim of the thesis is to describe the role of the headmaster and the means by which he executes managerial activities before and after the merger. The theoretical part characterises managerial roles and defines the headmaster as a manager, a leader and an executive. It states managerial functions, or more precisely, activities, which the headmaster uses for successful accomplishment of his managerial work. The aim of the thesis is verified in the empirical part, which describes three case studies that were carried out with headmasters of basic schools who had already undergone the process of merging a basic school with a kindergarten. The main focus of the work is to describe how the role of the headmaster has changed, and whether the means of executing of managerial roles have been changed after the merger. The thesis could serve as supporting material for not only the directors who are in the process of merging, but also for the part of the public interested in this issue.

Abstract The aim of the bachelor thesis "Communication with handicapped patients with hearing impairment" was established on the basis of the exploratory survey, the level of communication skills, attitude and interest in the education of nurses in communication with hearing- impaired patiens. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part gives a brief overview of relevant knowledge about communication with hearing-impaired patients that have been collected through the available and published literature. The empirical part contains quantitative research. Selected form of the research was questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed among nurses on the internal and surgical wards in Thomayer's hospital. Individual speech therapy in school for children with auditory impairment

The subject of thesis was to investigate and compare the communication skills of pupils of the first class with a different type, degree of hearing loss and different living conditions. The methodology of work was based on principles of qualitative research; it is a case study of three students from the first grade class for children with hearing impairments; speech therapy of these three pupils who have different hearing loss and variable compensation of hearing loss was compared. Firstly, available materials of monitored pupils were studied, secondly the technique of "participant observation - full observer" was used to collect data. The set of thematic pictograms was used to compare comprehension and vocabulary of studied children. Significant differences between the observed students were revealed during the investigation. One boy (hard of hearing with a hearing aid) to communicates comparable to their peers without hearing impairment and had a very good vocabulary, which is probably due to regular wearing hearing aids since early childhood, early auditory and speech education and the excellent cooperation and support of the family. Development of communication skills for people with learning disabilities

The thesis deals with the possibilities of communication skills development for persons with learning disabilities. Problematics of vocabulary acquirement and the associated cognitive processes are of primary interest of the thesis. Part of the work is a proposal of several practical activities for improvement of these fields, all in agreement with the presented theoretical background. Qualitative study on a sample of 5 tenants of a nursing home was conducted. Subsequent analysis revealed that the nature, implementation and orientation of the proposed tasks is suitable for the clients. Influence of methods RWCT on improvement of pupil's comunication skills

The thesis is focused on the programme Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking (RWCT) and its influence on the pupil's communication skills. The theoretical part provides factual information relating to the topic. It describes communication, communication skills, the status of communication in the Framework Education Programme for Primary Education and summarizes the information about the programme RWCT, its objectives, content and methods. The practical part deals with the influence of methods RWCT on improvment of pupil's communicative skills. It compares lessons at two elementary schools in terms of time, which is spended with pupil's communication, at which they have to express their own thoughts and opinions.

The work is based on theoretical findings on key competences, constructivist concept of teaching, organisational forms of teaching and project-based learning, which are then used in the practical part. In the practical part, the thesis aims present the functioning of the project and, based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative research, to present the results of the impact of the "Trade days" project on the development of key competencies and the overlap of this development into the future life of school graduates.
