The Value World of Modern Youth

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to survey current purposes and values of selected group of young people. The theoretical part deals with explanation basic terms such as youth, value, value orientation, and value system. It also investigates development of moral values of individuals during different phases of life. The influence of internet, media and social groups is also mentioned just like the influence of social networks on daily life of youth. The practical part is focused on opinions of youth about human values and their opinion about social networks and relationships with help of qualitative research. It also studies the influence of social networks on value life of individuals considering their age and level of education.
Education Value in the Context of Other Values

This thesis deals with the topics of value orientation, value of education and reasons for early-quits schools both generally and particularly focused on SOŠ and SOU Písek. The theoretical part defines basic terms such as value, and value orientation of adolescents and determinants which influence the youth´s values. Furthermore, the thesis describes the system of higher secondary education in the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. It introduces the strategy of education policy to year 2020 and depicts the present situation at SOŠ and SOU Písek. The matter of concentration is occurrence of early-quits schools in the Czech Republic in comparison with selected EU countries. Moreover, the thesis presents findings of some Czech as well as international researches. The practical part goes into the empiric research which is focused on values of education and practical reasons of early-quits school at SOŠ and SOU Písek. The research particularly investigates the fact whether these students find education important and what the practical reasons of early-quits are at this school.
Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents

The thesis called "Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents" deals with comparison of changes through longitudinal study in chosen indicators of value orientation and actual life attitudes of adolescents, who are situated in educational institution and being at the same time students of high school preparing themselves for future career. The results are compared with the survey, which was carried out between the years 2009 - 2010. The arrangement of gained data has a character of comparative study, which evaluates an occurrence of certain aspects in respondents' hierarchy of values and maps their shift in a certain period of time. The theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and value orientation, their elements and formations; furthermore it structures a phenomenon of adolescence in general, which is compared in selected indicators with specifically selected groups, which are the subject of the survey. Context and Impacts of Identification of Children and Youth with a Selected informal Group

The thesis is thematically aimed at the issue of impacts of selected respondents' membership in an informal group, it is oriented on the organization of children and youth leisure time, in particular; mostly in the form of long-term holiday stays in the wild. The work is focused mainly on questions, which role in selected members of the group is played by factors, such as family background, personality development, mental status, great experiences, personality of a group leader, interpersonal relationships in the group, environment in which the group forms, etc. The theoretical part shall seek to describe the issues of children and youth leisure time with an emphasis on sociological and psychological point of view. The practical part consists of monographic research and qualitative research. The aim of the monographic research is to describe by means of historical methods the development of group in time, based on social changes which during the existence of this group in the society happened. The research of primary school teachers

The aim of my work is to indicate some of the theoretical possibilities that have connections with values and value orientation and also my personal research of the specific group. The study sample is the group of primary teachers and also the students of pedagogical faculty of West Bohemia University in Pilsen, branch of study - primary teachers. The research was given in one year when only women were tested. The whole study sample has been compared with the population of women, with the students of pedagogical faculty and finally the teachers were compared among themselves. The questionnaire was used during the research. The respondents were asked to answer unitary and standard test for current czech population. The result of the research is description of the value structure and value preferences that were explored within the group. The results have showed the differences in value orientation among primary teachers and the group of current population of students of pedagogical faculty. The work does not put emphasis to give the coherent point of view on the theoretical knowledge of values. Despite the fact, the work can demonstrate the specific group of teachers, how do they differ from the current population and if their value orientation can influence their choice of teacher job. Value orientation of young people from socially and culturally disadvantaged backgrounds

The goal of the thesis is describing the value orientation of young people from the socially and culturally disadvantaged surroundings. The thesis is theoretical and empirical and it has a qualitative character. The research pattern are young people who are visiting a low- threshold facility for children and teenagers. We are describing the issue of the age of young people, conception of values, evaluation process, classification of values, value orientation, education to values, moral development of human, socially and culturally disadvantaged surroundings, family, peer groups and the low-threshold facility for children and teenagers in the theoretical part. There was performed an analysis of the value orientation of the selected group of respondents based on the data from semi-structured interview in practical part. The results of research shows that the part of the value orientation of the young people is the family, life in prosperity, free time, education, friends, interest activities, love, surroundings, make own family and responsibility. These parts characterize what is important, valuable and necessary for the respondents.

Nonmarital and marital fertility in the Czech Republic and from international perspective. Trends, patterns and attitudes. Abstract The aim of this master thesis is to describe the development trends of marital and nonmarital fertility in the Czech Republic and to analyze selected indicators of fertility. As tools are used to certain methods of demographic analysis. The first part addressis the basic concepts related to the issue of marital and nonmarital fertility, data sources and a description of the historical development of nonmartial fertility. The analytical part include basic analysis of fertility by age, marital status, education, birth order and the decomposition of the total fertility rate and proportion of childern born outsider marriage in the Czech Republic and Austria too.
