Rehabilitation of slag

The paper describes the historical context of the heap of blast furnace slag in Kladno. It also characterizes the chemical and mineralogical composition and offers an explanation of the different composition of the bottom active and top inactive layers. It was found that if the slag contains active components in the form of a disordered gehlenites it can be easily reprocessed by alkaline activation into valuable, stable and water-insoluble matter.

Termination of mining on the mine Schoeller/Nejedlý/Kladno in the eyes of miners

"Black Kladno" - a name inextricably linked with the largest city of the Central Bohemian clearly reflects the former industrial face of Kladno. In addition to the steel industry here had long tradition just coal mining and its phasing, which culminated early in 2002 close of the last Kladno Mine Schoeller / Nejedly / Kladno, had an impact on a large number of people who have worked in this field. Atheism and belief in the Czech Republic for example of religious life in the city of Kladno

Religion is culturological terms of great cultural phenomenon that even in Czech, mostly atheistic society completely disappeared. The question of atheism, this work aims in the sense that how the traditional institutional form of religion remains attractive, as far as live and to what extent we continued secularism Czech society understood as a real departure from the individual religious values and spiritual needs of transcendental relationships. The aim is to analyze the way of keeping the faith of believers inside the nucleus, the manner of its expansion into the public and the public reaction atheist, all the empirical example of Kladno. Industrial Heritage of Kladno

Industrial buildings and businesses are inherently to face the Central Bohemian city of Kladno. Through field research is captured in the work of the Kladno current state of industrial monuments and mapped their history. I used only specific cases that are written between technical monuments and they are interesting both from a historical and urban or technical perspective. Thanks capture the historical and contemporary situation arose holistic view of technical monuments in the area and at the same time there was a familiarity with the approach and in terms of the industrial heritage. The work is divided into three main parts. The first is devoted to an introduction to the issues and explain the basic concepts. The second part focuses on the history of metallurgy and mining in the Kladno and also explores the main sights, except where their history is mentioned as the current status. The third section shows the current utilization of monuments, looking for inspiration in the Czech Republic and abroad, how to dispose of unused objects and finally introduces activities that help attract the public's interest in technical monuments and sights mainly to help themselves. Extinct chapels in Kladno

Extinct chapels in Kladno This bachelor thesis deals with extinct chapels in Kladno, Krocehlavy and Rozdělov and built in the early 20th century. It is the selected objects, which are in the city itself several. It focuses attention on the chapel Antonin Podlaha described in the book Sacred Places of the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1913, and reveals even a few words and another completely lost. The first chapter gives the history of the individual parts of the city, ie. Kladno, Krocehlavy and Rozdělov. With each subsequent chapter deals with a single building or complex, both from a historical site and from art historical perspective. The appearance of the chapel has not been preserved to this day, so it continues to work with old photographs and postcards, and creating a vivid picture in the context of their inhabitants, whether they were students in schools, believing in the chapels, nuns in monasteries or survivors at funerals in the hospital premises. The goal is to capture the lost wealth for which this city is often forgotten, and evaluate past and present.

Suburban park Bažantnice (Kladno) in Botany and Dendrology Instruction

The topic of this thesis is forest park's Bažantnice mapping. The thesis suggests the way of aplication of botanic terrain education. Botany and dendrology is one of the main educations question on elementary and secondary school. Park Bažantnice can be used in science lesson for its hight potential. The thesis i s divided into two parts. The first of them summarizes differents types of the terrain education and focuses on didactic using of the park Bažantnice. The second one deals with the station mapping and describes way of data colecting and adapting. Accompanying pictures and generated maps are included in appendiced at the back of the thesis.
