Critical Points in Teaching German

This diploma thesis deals with critical points of German language teaching in primary and secondary schools. The first part of the thesis is focused on the researched issues from a theoretical point of view and presents the foreign languages didactics. It further describes the German language framework educational program and related concepts that can help to understand and facilitate the solution of critical points in German language teaching. The second part presents the evaluation and analysis of 25 questionnaires obtained from the IPUP KA7 project (Innovation of teacher training for practice, CZ.02.3.68 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 16_038 / 0006960). This survey was focused on the identification of critical points from the perspective of German language teachers at primary and secondary schools. Four of these critical points are analyzed in more detail and accompanied by motivational exercises that can simplify them for teachers and students as well.
Finding out the level of pupils' gymnastic movement skills at the second level of primary school

This graduation thesis deals with the research, which determines the level of gymnastic skills of pupils of the elementary school. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical knowledge about gymnastics, physical abilities and skills, physical education, didactics of gymnastics in physical education at schools and gymnastics in the education system. In the second part of the thesis, the author focuses on empirical research. Four grammar schools in Tábor and one hundred pupils evaluated were included in the survey. The research sample consists of the ninght year male students. The level of gymnastics of the pupils at selected elementary schools was measured by the level of performace of six gymnastic elements, selected by the author of this paper. The performance was evaluated using a five-step rating scale. The data were further processed using descriptive statistics and they were compared with the results of another paper on the same topic in the town of Písek.
To the methodology of teaching history of Holocaust at Primary schools with didactically modified text and iconographic sources

This thesis called "To the methodology of teaching history of Holocaust at Primary schools with didactically modified text and iconographic sources" is taking into account the relationships between the newest history findings considering the holocaust topic. It is dealing with their topic range and reflexion in the school materials for the secondary school students in the context of the Framework Education Programme. The thesis gives detailed didactic analyses of the topic including the options of the excursion education and compilation of the particular selection of the didactically modified texts and iconographic sources with methodic commentary.
Examining the quality of teaching psychology in secondary schools based on the method 3A

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the quality of teaching psychology at secondary schools. The work is devided into two parts. The introduction to the theoretical part of the work is devoted to the introduction of didactics of psychology and it's basic principles, on which is based as constructivism and communication concept of didactics. Other chapters focus on the characteristics of teaching psychology at secondary schools only in the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia. The content of the practical part includes two teaching situations, from which two didactic case studies where created by using 3A procedure. The result of the application of this qualitative method is an insight into the teaching of psychology, which can evaluate its quality on the basis of integrity three layers (thematic, conceptual, competence) within the so-called model of in-depth structure of teaching. Alternative approaches are possible to improve the quality of teaching. Focus on fulfilling the goals of teaching psychology, psychological literacy.
Lower secondary school media education: Reflections on available programs and design of new lessons

The aim of the present diploma thesis is to focus on teaching aspects of media education. In the first chapter it defines the term media literacy, presents the conception of this concept by different educational institutions in the international context and compares them with each other. In the next chapter, the Czech concept is introduced and compared with the previous ones. Space is also devoted to the topic of media education, media pedagogy and media andragogy. It is followed by a section dealing with the situation of media literacy in Czech schools in the light of surveys conducted, which focuses on their conclusions. In the next part, the thesis maps the didactic foundations for teaching media education, focusing on two projects dedicated to it. It presents their introduction and compares two specific programmes. It also presents an overview of several other projects that offer didactic support to teachers in teaching media education. On the basis of the identified gaps in the Czech concept of media education, a lesson designed for upper elementary pupils is proposed. The theme of the proposed teaching approach is based on the broader international concept of UNESCO and deals with news values. Title: Project method of teaching pre-medical first aid Abstract: This thesis addresses the teaching of first aid at the second level of secondary schools with focus on the project method of teaching. In the introduction the reasons leading to selection of topic are mentioned. This is followed by the objectives set for this thesis. The theoretical part is devoted to school documents and the theoretical basis for teaching first aid, which includes the definition of first aid, emergency calls, guidelines for providing first aid at selected life- threatening conditions. Among the very important chapters of the theoretical part is the didactics of first aid, which aims to provide useful advice for creating the most effective first aid teaching in terms of organization and methodology. The chapter also briefly discusses topics such as teaching objectives, motivation, didactic principles of teaching, methods and organisational forms of teaching. In the research part of my thesis, I aim to compare whether project-based or frontal teaching organisational form of teaching is more effective for first aid teaching. Activating methods of e-learning of Czech language in secondary schools during compulsory online learning

This diploma thesis is focused on activating methods in online teaching of the Czech language and literature. The theoretical part includes an explanation of the concept of e-learning and clarifies the context of the start of compulsory distance education in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the thesis deals with activating methods and their division. The thesis divides axtivating methods into debating, situational, staging, didactic games and herustic. The practical part of the thesis is focused on action research. The aim was to find out how it is possible to transform activating methods into e-learning of Czech language and literature. Part of the research was finding resources that can be used to fulfill the various activating methods in e-learning and to examine amount of their effectiveness in teaching. Main research has been provided by active observations and making notes into pedagogical diary. Through observation, the thesis shows specific teaching methods and evaluates their effectiveness in the online environment oin secondary school ArtEcon Prague. Comparison of selected educational platforms

The thesis compares selected educational platforms. Its aim was to analyse the selected online platforms and their functions with regard to the possibility of incorporating modern teaching methods in adult education. The theoretical part is based on desk research, relevant literature and other available sources and defines the terms related to the issue, which are andragogy, adult education methods and online education. It also presents current trends and objectives of education in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part concludes with an overview of relevant theoretical background from which the research part of this thesis is based on. In view of the need for a detailed examination of the selected platforms, a qualitative research strategy and a content analysis method were chosen. The platforms chosen for the research are Knowspread, Thinkific, Miro and BigBlueButton. For the purposes of the thesis, their functions for course design were characterized and presented in the analysis. The interpretation of the data conveys a summary table which shows that all the above mentioned platforms include the functionality to upload a file, embed a URL to an external multimedia/website and the functionality to download the embedded file. Didactics of jumps from a small trampoline in the competition Teamgym

1 Abstract Name: Didactics of jumps from a small trampoline in the competition TeamGym Characteristics: The teoretical part deals with concepts related to gymnastice, history and the division of gymnastics, mainly gymnastic sport TeamGym. The main discipline that deals with this work is the small trampoline. There is also defined a preparation for handling jumps from a small trampoline, stimulation of motor skills and their division, the technique of motion and general didactic principles. The main goal of the practical part is to design a didactic program for handling selected jumps from a small trampoline. The design is based on a kinematic analysis of selected jumps, literary research and your own experience. These are the basic jumps: the forward tuck, the forward pike, the forward straight and the forward double tuck. The kinematic analysis, the observation method and video recordings were used to fulfill the objectives and tasks. The conclusion of the bachelor work contains a summary of the whole issue and evaluation of the use of didactic program for the training units of jumps from a small trampoline. Linguistic analysis of weather forecasts as an informative text. Action research

1 ABSTRACT This thesis is named Linguistic Analysis of weather forecasts and is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the first part of this thesis readers can find general knowledge of field of media: the term media communication is defined, specifics are described, it is talked about a media product, content and meaning. After that we mention media audience with respect to the pupil as a special type of recipient. The following is a characteristic of television weather forecasts within the media communication and analysis of its typical means of expression. The last part of this section is the description of the school curriculum, especially the media education, because the research was made in the schools and the main goals of this thesis were based on requirements of curricula of the Czech Republic. The second part presents the motivation of investigation and the method of the action research that was chosen. The largest part of this section is the part containing the whole evaluation and interpretation of the results of particular activities, both propaedeutic and proactive with the media product.
