Radicalization of Prague Students in the 1930s

This thesis deals with the transformation of social and political behavior of Prague students in the 1930's. The work follows the requirements and expectations of students. Their unfulfilled view reveals the dissatisfaction of students, which led to the escalation of student clear-cut political and social views. The thirties brought in a student movement onset of extreme nationalist, but also left-wing tendencies of both the Czech and the German side. The work is based on the documents of student faculty associations, the student journals and memoir texts. The aim is to analyze, against whom was directed the dissatisfaction of students, which ideas had students about the proper organization of the state and society, what were the differences in political and social thought between the faculties and student groups and how were students percieved by society. Work is also interested in what influence on stduents movement had the clash Czech, German and Jewish students in Prague. How was influenced the students thinking of their social status and how identified the individual student associations. The work aims to contribute to the completion of the image of interwar czechoslovak society.
The Criticism of Bologna Process in Germany

This thesis deals with German criticism of the European higher education reforms within the so called Bologna Process. These reforms include the division of studies into two and later into three cycles, the introduction of a unified credit system and the support of mobility. Germany in particular represents a country, where the Bologna Process initiated a broad academic debate and became a subject of student protests. The paper discusses the criticism of particular goals, the overall concept of the reforms and the specifics of their implementation in Germany. It focuses on both the core of scholar criticism and the students' insight on the subject. The analysed period is bordered by the signing of the Bologna declaration in 1999 and by the year 2010, which was originally meant to be the last year of the reform process. Some academicians saw the Bologna Process as an instrument for the commercialization of higher education and a deviation from the model of W. v. Humboldt. The majority however pointed out the erroneous implementation of reforms and misapprehension of the original goals. Similar stances were also adopted by students. Topic: Physical literacy Goals: The aproximation of physical literacy, collection and evaluation questionnaires of physical literacy knowledge and students anamnesis. Description of applicants progress in the specific movement skills. Method: Unified questionnaires was used for obtaining informations. We make video for movement analysis. Results: The results didn't obtain our expectation that students are able to express precisely the content of physical literacy by specific skills. However, they have expected attitude to early specialization in sport that is not important in all kind of sport. Finally, the applicants have moved forward to their movement skills. Coherence between personal characteristics and practicing sports activities

The thesis deals with personality research in sport. The general aim of thesis was to prove coherence between personal trait and particular sport activity. Being specific we have tried to discover, whether the choice of sport activity has coherence with personal trait. The aim group was consisted of students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University in Prague. Those students were specialists at swimming, football, gym and athletics. This group of student was compared with control group of students who are do not attend sports actively. Generally, 179 informants took participate in this correlation research. As a research method was used a personality test 4Elements Inventory and the Questionnaire of sport actitvites. The results proved a statistically important coherence between particular sport specialization and the elements Fire and Water. There was no proof of coherence between particular sport specialization and any of Elements. We found coherence in a frequence of sport activity and Fire element. The examined group differes from population in Fire and Earth element. The thesis also includes enumeration and conjuctions of those sport activities that our informants attend to. Awareness of students graduation classes about how HPV infection viruses.

v anglickém jazyce The thesis is dedicated to the awareness of students about the possibilities of graduation classes have HPV viruses. Introduction is devoted to the description of the theoretical and empirical chapters and a brief explanation of the issue of HPV viruses. In the beginning of the theoretical part presents brief characteristics of HPV viruses along with the history of HPV research, the incidence of disease caused due to HPV infection and disease transmission. In other chapters are discussed in more detail specific disease arising fro the infection HPV. In the end is dedicated to the prevention of HPV malignancies. To research empirical part is finding HPV awaareness and knowledge of the issue for students graduation classes. By questionnaire are collected knwldge of issue of HPV infection. Personal Sport Equipment of FTVS UK Students

Title: Personal sport equipment of FTVS UK students Objectives: Main objective of this diploma thesis to find out personal sports equipment of studentes by survey method. The goal is to analyze students sport equipment for their personal use and ownership, how much financial resorces students invests into sport and at the same time use analysis to determine which sports are prefered by students and which sport brands are the most popuplar. Methods: Main tool for obtaining necessary datas, which are used in our diploma thesis, is the questionare in online form. To evaluate obtaine datas from our respondents we have used statistical methods. In the introduction we have checked and classified, determined in the next step of research process (analysis of answers). This allowed us to research mutual relations between indvidual categories. Another methods that we used were for example: analysis and synthetis, scientific abstract, comparation method, mathematical and statistical methods. Results: From our research it is obvious that the students invest significant amont of their financial resorces into sports equipment. Knowledge of rowing between students of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport

Title: Knowledge of rowing between students of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to compare the knowledge breadth of the students of the sports-oriented faculty with faculty (university) which is not focused on sport fields. Another objective is to explore students' general knowledge of the sport of rowing. Methods: The quantitative research was used to determine the necessary information, using personal interviews with questionnaires. The questionnaire on the given subject was created before the interview, which was then completed by the 152 respondents from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Results: Based on the obtained data, we can say that the surveyed students of the sports Faculty of Physical Education and Sport have a wider knowledge of rowing than respondents of the Czech University of Life Sciences. In summary, all the respondents have an only basic knowledge of rowing. The name of the Czech rowing representative said only 51% of all respondents. " Battle of the Symbols of the University" on the pages of Přítomnost

This bachelor thesis inquires into the reflection of "The Battle of the Symbols of the University" on the pages of Přítomnost. It charts editor's offices stances to nationalism is the Czechoslovak society in the first half of 1930's. The thesis insists on the representative choice of articles of Přítomnost and on archive materials to describe the event. The objective of the work is to bring the sum of stances of magazine to the students, nationalism, relation between Czech and Germen people an "The Battle of the Symbols of the University" in the first half of 1930's. The work charts the stances of the Czechoslovak society, which is represented by the magazine Přítomnost.
Forced Use of Secondary School Students During the Occupation

Miroslav Eisenhammer Forced use of secondary school students during the occupation Supervisor: PhDr. Jan Gebhart, CSc., DSc. Abstract This dissertation deals with yet completely unprocessed issue of forced labor deployment of secondary and vocational school pupils in the Czech lands during the occupation by Nazi Germany. After the initial characteristics of the development of the German and the Protectorate economy and the Nazi attitude to use workforce of its own population and of occupied countries, the other chapter is devoted to the situation in the Czech education in 1939-1945. The Nazis considered the Czech intelligence as the enemy, so after the closure of Czech universities they deliberately restricted Czech secondary education. These restrictions did not have only national political, but also economic significance. From 1939 workers from the Czech lands were sent to work in the Reich. This trend increased significantly from 1942, when Germany intensified the expansion of war production and at the same time they started extensive program of forced labor of foreign workers in German industry. One of the labor sources were secondary school pupils, who the new legislation from February 1943 allowed to acknowledge de facto incomplete education based on the confirmed certificate in forced labor...
