Application of lexical strategies in learning German as L3

The diploma thesis ?Application of lexical strategies in learning German language as a second language? deals with the processes of acquiring vocabulary and lexical strategies, which pupils should use while learning German as a further foreign language after English. The theoretical part focuses on the description of semantization and the characteristics of lexical strategies in terms of tertiary language. On the basis of tertiary didactics are presented and analyzed criteria for vocabulary selection. In the practical part two sets of textbooks used at Czech schools were analyzed. ?Spaß mit Max 1? and ?Planet 1 - Deutsch für Jugendliche? were analyzed in terms of vocabulary selection, its presentation and practice, and explicit presented lexical strategies. Finally, there were elaborated such methods which helps pupils at lower secondary schools to acquire vocabulary in German on the basis of their knowledge and skills acquired by learning English.

Launching a new Product of Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka on the Market

This Diploma thesis is focused on the complete analysis of the company Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka, a.s. in the context of the history, present and future potential. The main objective is to independently analyze and assess the current position on the market of bitter herbal drinks, find out where could be a gap and demand for the new product. The aim would be to suggest directions for Becherovka, and its majority owner Pernod Ricard, based on market research. In conclusion, this thesis will introduce the marketing mix and strategy for the new product.

Building brand awareness and image of Horský pramen

This bachelor's work is aimed at creating brand awarness and image of Horský pramen. The main aim of this work is to analyze awareness and image of brand at target group which consists mainly of parents in maternity leave and sportsmen, using results from own on-line questionary. Parents in maternity leave and sportsmen are the main target groups of chosen brand Horský pramen. Other task is to suggest solution to improve the awareness of this brand, again using questionary. This work is divided in theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part defines basic terms concerning problems and brand building, further it describes its image, value and ways of measuring and communication. Practical part characterizes researched brand which is also part of marketing research realized by on-line questionary.

Analysis of cooperation with employment offices with recruitment (FOXCONN CZ s.r.o. - production branch in Kutná Hora)

First part of thesis describes the theoretical basis of theme. The first section relates to legislative regulation of employment area including its development from 2004. The second chapter attends to cooperation possibilities of employers and employment offices. Second part of thesis concentrates on analysis of situation of particular employer - FOXCONN CZ company. The first section of this part describes the company in light of its history, positions and present cooperation with employment offices. The second section characterizes situation on regional employment market including history of local employment office and interview with its employees. The last chapter contains the particulat analysis of present cooperation methods with employment offices, economical view on this problem and final recommendations.

Tereza Nováková Promyšlená stopa expresivního gesticismu. Vlivy západní Evropy na tvorbu Jana Kotíka. Résumé Práce pojednává o životě a díle Jana Kotíka, zvláště s přihlédnutím k jeho abstraktně expresionistické tvorbě. V jedné kapitole je uveden přehled literatury, zabývající se nefigurativním poválečným uměním u nás a ve světě a jejím zhodnocením. Dále je popsán život Jana Kotíka v souvislosti s jeho dílem, vlivy a osobnosti, které na něj působily. Ve svém mládí byl především ovlivněn svým otcem Pravoslavem a estetikou Skupiny 42. Postupně se začíná jeho tvorba oprošťovat od viditelné skutečnosti až si našla svébytné místo mezi různými směry abstraktního umění. Z různých inspiračních vlivů je uvedena především tvorba Skupiny CoBrA a jejího nejvýraznějšího představitele, dánského umělce Asgera Jorna. Jan Kotík byl dobře informovaný o evropském a americkém soudobém umění a to i v těžkých padesátých letech, nepřejících abstraktnímu umění. Mohl cestovat do zahraničí na výstavy a kongresy a udržovat kontakty s umělci mimo Československo. Významná byla i jeho aktivní účast na Světové výstavě Expo'58 v Bruselu. Kotíkovo dílo je velmi různorodé, obsahuje užité umění, knižní obálky, volnou malířskou tvorbu i teoretické práce. Snažila jsem se Kotíkovo malířské dílo, vzniklé na přelomu 50. a 60. let, zařadit do...

Metaphors and Analogies in Economics and Economic Education

Presented thesis explores the ground at the intersection of three topics: education, relational thinking and economics. Within the sphere of economic education it investigates the use of concepts known from (i) conceptual metaphor theory, (ii) psychological model of analogical reasoning, (iii) model of generative learning from educational psychology and (iv) existing research on use of metaphors and analogies in natural sciences education. Thesis shows the potential of metaphorical origin of economic terminology for teaching economic concepts and educational use of economic media content. At the same time it proposes a notation for visualizing metaphorical mappings between domains. It addresses economic interpretation from the viewpoint of the relationship between theoretical economic models and actual economic situations, as well as from the viewpoint of the relationship between mathematical structure of the model and its economic meaning. In the first case, it shows interpretative skill, being framed within the revised Bloom taxonomy, as a complex cognitive task, in the second case it develops model of economic interpretation of mathematical structures on the basis of psychological model of analogical reasoning. In both cases it formulates highlights students should know about the analogical nature of economic models. On the basis of the model of generative learning it develops a set of visual methaphors applicable in the introductory topics of microeconomics and macroeconomics and examines effects of their use in the classes of economics. By undertaking such research it initiates the exploration of paths leading in the directions suggested by the theoretical analysis.

Worker's Party of Social Justice

The Worker´s Party of Social Justice is the most significant far right party in the Czech Republic. This work deals with its ideological basis while emphasis is placed on the conception of nation and the attitude towards the political systém and a charakterization of its development too. The first two chapters focus on the analysis of the predecessor: the Worker's Party which in its third phase adopted the German national socialism from the National Democratic Party of Germany. Within the new approach it adopted the notion of white Europeanism which is a contemporaty Aryan rase. The second two chapters contain the analyses of ideological postulates of the Worker's Party of Social Justice which continues to co-operate with the National Democratic Party of Gemany and to adopt its attitudes and strategy. The basis of identity of the Worker's Party of Social Justice is white Europeanism which is common for all native European nations. Incompatibility of some of its attitudes with the values of representative democracy makes it an anti-system party.

Bakalářská práce Pozice Irska v mezinárodním obchodě hodnotí vývoj hospodářské situace v zemi od druhé světové války do současnosti a analyzuje hlavní příčiny jejího úspěchu v devadesátých letech minulého století. Dále se zabývá členstvím Irska v nejvýznamnějších mezinárodních organizacích a obchodně - politickým vztahům s Českou republikou. Závěrečná část je věnována problematice přímých zahraničních investic.
