The Nursery School Teacher´s Awerness of the CAN syndrome

The aim of this work is to find out the awareness of kindergarten teachers about Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN). What do kindergarten teachers think of battered, abused and neglected children, what percentage of teachers have experienced with a child with CAN in their practice, what procedures do teachers have in dealing with the occurrence of a child with CAN, and how the teachers perceive the announcement itself when they suspect CAN. In addition, the goal is a deeper insight into this issue. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis contains chapters related to CAN, its forms, typical manifestations, etc. It also contains information about the role of kindergarten teachers in the given issue and also the legislative anchoring of the whole issue. In the practical part there is the research problem being solved: What is kindergarten teachers' awareness of CAN? The results of a mixed research are presented here. The questionnaire method is used for the quantitative part, the research sample is made up of kindergarten teachers. The interview method is used for qualitative research. The interview is conducted with a kindergarten teacher who has already met the CAN.
The influence of childhood on the concept of the teaching profession in kindergarten

The bachelor thesis focuses on how teachers in the kindergarten perceive the influence of their own childhood on their personality and their profession. The theoretical part describes the first 7 years of the child's life, the influence of the education on the child, it shows the risks the education brings along and its possible unwanted undesirable demonstrations in adulthood. Further, there is described the personality of nursery teacher here. In the practical part the results of qualitative research are presented. This research was conducted in the form of a semi-structured interview with kindergarten teachers. The interviews map their childhood memories, the possibilities of coping with unpleasant experiences and the interconnection of memories with their current profession.
Optimization of relaxation regime in nursery school

This thesis is focused on relaxation regime in the life of pre-school kids in their family and in nursery school. In theoretical part child's needs and rights, evolution of motivation, emotionally-moral evolution and socialization of children in the given age group are defined. In the next part aims and conditions of contemporary nursery school its daily regime, rhythm and rituals are described. This work also deals with the work of a teacher and his competences. The following part is dedicated to contemporary family, its educational styles and current relationship between school and family. In the final part of the theoretical part sleep and relaxation and its importance as well as sleep malfunctions are described. Practical part is aimed at relaxation regime in families of the children and in nursery school. Through questionnaires state of relaxation regime in families and in two classes of nursery school was established. After implementing organizational and material suggestions in two classes of nursery school impact of these innovations on happiness of children and view of teachers of these changes was evaluated after six months. Work satisfaction of nursery school teachers

The work focuses on the selection and further study of factors concerning work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part of the final bachelor's thesis presents findings from literature review concerning definitions, signs, determinants and theories of work satisfaction and related subjects. Consequently the work concentrates on the analysis of real life assets related to kindergarten teachers' work performance. A questionnaire survey in the practical part of this work identifies the most explanatory factors of work satisfaction. Another focus is on the importance of other variables influencing the general work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. Levels of current work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers are then compared among the three regions within the Czech republic. The survey results together with theoretical findings may provide more detailed point of view under the given conditions as well as serve to managers with topics for consideration and resposible approach to this subject. Communication competences in kindergarten curriculum

The thesis focuses on a concept of communicative competences in the curricula at the stage of pre-school education and introduces the possibilities of development of these competences in kindergarten. The theoretical part outlines issues of curriculum, key competences and communicative competences in the context of pre-primary education. The research is a presentation of qualitative-quantitative research, which aimed to analyze the concept of communicative competences in the curricula of kindergartens and based on direct observation to find out, how kindergarten teachers meet the communicative competences at this stage of education, how to diagnose them and what opportunities provides kindergarten environment to develop pre-school children communication competences. Based on the analysis of curriculum documents of selected kindergartens we found that schools include communicative competences in their conceptual materials and attach great importance to them, even if these documents have different content and formal level. From our observations and interviews with respondents, we concluded that kindergartens and their teachers usually provide good conditions for children to develop their communicative competences (positive communication climate, proper teacher speech pattern, primary prevention,...
The child with mutism in kindergarten

This thesis deals with symptoms of child with mutism in kindergarten. The aim of this work is attempt to capture specific trigger formation of mutism and description of the specific procedure for the breakdown of communication barriers. In the theoretical part describes speech development of the child, characteristics of mutism, its division, etiology and therapy. In the practical part is described the behavior of children in kindergarten, their communication with teachers, the staff and other children. Furthermore, this section describes the procedures and implementation of parents education style in the family. Records from speech therapy and psychological examinations of children are also included. In conclusion, discussed the educational practices of teachers that were used when working with these children and there are described probable starters formation of mutism for monitored children.
