Gallery aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Medlánky in Brno

The theme of Master thesis is a Gallery of aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Gallery aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Medlánky in Brno. The project insludes overall operation of the sports airport, then deal in detail operations of the museum and related services within the airport. The new campus will humbly entered in the countryside, in an attractive location Medláneckých hills creates another attractive feature and despite the complex operation and movement techniques does not create a barrier to the contrary territory it unites and is a natural center. Airports Medlanky was founded already in the twenties of the last century, and since then the area is relatively non-conceptually grew by more hangars and various outbuildings. Of these, only two were preserved original wooden sheds, which adds yet another new administrative and ceremonial buildings. Operational buildings set limits on technology, the new representative building it closes, and defining a space for people, nature trail connects the area, offers wonderful views and creates a public space that makes passers airport. The whole area is oriented to the back area and opens onto the landscape, wide area thus presents an iconic silhouette reperzentační building. The curve of the building provides space aircraft-makers to fly and allows collision-free movement of people and equipment around the airport and also generates a dignified space for aircraft to fly longer will. Exposure air museum at the second floor of the building and the visitor thus rises to individual gliders that levitate in space, the sun's rays make their reflections on the polished bonnets and backgrounds are vivid airports and skies. The diploma thesis was prepared as an architectural study. The theme of diploma thesis is the design of new synagogue with Jewish community center in Olomouc. The part of the work is the creation of Jewish community center, synagogue, museum of Jewish culture and kosher restaurant. The plot is on the site of a synagogue that was burned by the Nazis in 1939.
Historical Narrative and Identity Building: Museums in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The thesis analyses historical narratives presented in exhibitions of the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo and the Museum of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka. It also clarifies who promotes that particular representation of history and which factors influence the decisions museums make. The thesis builds on theoretical literature related to a role of museums in a process of memory institutionalization and identity building as well as to their potential to bring reconciliation in post-conflict society. The subjects of the research are the main museums dealing with the recent history in the two Bosnian autonomous entities, with the History Museum being in predominantly Bosniak while the Museum of Republika Srpska in predominantly Serb environment. The thesis explores the development of the museums, their organization, financing, self-presentation and most importantly the narratives of their permanent and temporary exhibitions. These are analysed especially from the perspective of definition of own group versus the others. The analysis covers museums' activities in the period from 1995 to present days. Diaries of Josef Volf as a Probe into the Czechoslovak Librarianship

Resource basis for this work will be thee editorially still unprocessed diary parts of librarian, historian and teacher Josef Volf (1878 - 1937) - from the years 1925, 1933 and 1935. Thematically, the work will build on previous bachelor thesis Library of the National Museum in the first half of the 20th century through the eyes of Josef Volf. Now, however, will dela with personalities Josef Volf from the perspective of his teaching at Charles University, and especially at the State Library School. In this connection, will focus on the establishment and functioning of the educational institutions and the general process for creating a library legislation at the beginning of the first Czechoslovak Republic. Volfův diary should help reveal the specific difficulties of implementation of the Law on public libraries, discussions among experts in an informal level and the impact on the field of librarianship and library development and organization after its introduction. Marketing communication of cultural Institutions in the District of České Budějovice

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of marketing communication of cultural organisations in the district of České Budějovice. It is concerned with the four most significant cultural institutions in the district, which are also the biggest in the region in their sphere of activity, namely Jihočeské divadlo, Jihočeské muzeum, Alšova jihočeská galerie and Jihočeská komorní filharmonie. Taking into account the multitude of changes that have taken place in given subjects recently, the period for analysis was determined to be the years 2014 and 2015. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first section defines concepts of marketing, it describes the marketing mix, its instruments and the specifics of cultural marketing. Next part of the work defines given organisations in terms of their history, structure and recent changes. The third part is concerned with detailed analysis of communication activities of these organisations and it specifies applied instruments of marketing communication. Using SWOT analysis it reveals both strong and weak points of communication of these institutions, their opportunities and threats. Classical Artifacts in the Collections of the Regional museum in Vysoké Mýto

SCHMIDTOVÁ, DOMINIKA. Antique items in the collections of Regional museum in Vysoké Mýto. Praha: Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, 2015, 115 425 characters. Bachelor thesis This paper processes ancient objects from the collections of the Regional Museum in Vysoké Mýto. The focus is on "Collection of Pompeii," containing two ceramic lamps, six glass bottles, mostly balsamaria and ten small metal objects between which appears crossbow brooch, keys or arrowheads. In addition to this collection is processed even brick with stamp of Roman legion. The work also includes an excursion to the 19th century, where we can see increasing interest in archeology and collecting ancient monuments in Bohemia. On this basis, the conclusion discusses whether the items really come from Pompeii or not, and the reason why this collection was named after this Italian place, was examined. The Museum in Sušice and Public

This work The Museum in Sušice and the public deals with the birth, the activities and the changes of the museum in Sušice since its establishing in year 1880 till the year 1945. It pursues the internal running of this institution, its spatial demands, funding and the administration and managing of the museum. Further this work concerns itself with the creating of the collections of the museum, while there is proper attention devoted to the phenomenon of the donations and the donators themselves. Not less attention is put on the output of the work of the museum, above all the publication activity of the men connected to museum, the creating of the long-lasting expositions as well as the short-termed exhibitions. At the end this work will try to situate the running of the museum in Sušice into wider context of the development of museum work in the region of the west Bohemia and to describe its more general progress tendentious. In the similar way it will try to capture the influence of the crucial phenomena and incidents that shaped the life in the political district of Sušice, in this context the main emphasis will be put on nationalism and Czech-German fights in the language frontier.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the person of JUDr. Karel Hostaš. The aim of the thesis is to map the scope of activities of JUDr. Karel Hostaš while focusing on his historiographical and archaeological activities. JUDr. Karel Hostaš was born, lived and worked in Klatovy and is therefore inextricably linked with Klatovy's region, however, his work, with its significance, has transcended regional borders. Following a chapter with his biography there are chapters that focus on the work of JUDr. Karel Hostaš: he was universally oriented person engaged in advocacy and notary, public political activities, collections, museum and ethnographic researches, archival science and literary activities. This is followed by the main section, which is devoted to historiography, archival and archaeological activities of JUDr. Karel Hostaš.
Gamification of presentation of the cultural heritage

The aim of this work is to present gamification and its uses in the context of museology and art marketing and its benefits for the presentation of cultural heritage. The first part explores general theory of gamification, it's basic elements, types of players, psychological aspects and motivation. It mentions also social impact and main criticism. Second part apply the concepts presented in the first part directly to the field of presentation of cultural heritage in museums and galleries. It focus on linking the traditional institution with it's virtual version in the context of convergence culture and participation with wider audience. Gamification design framework shows how museums and galleries can use gamification for practical use in exhibitions, digitized collections and promotion. At the third part it presents practical project with concept of gamification of history for the Faculty of Arts at Charles University.
