Diploma thesis in theoretical part deals with the quality, quality management systems and also deals with a set of standards ISO 9000, particularly the standard ISO 9001:2009. The practical part is dedicated to analysis of management system in society 3E Praha Engineering, a.s. and changes which are necessary to ensure that the company was prepared for certification of management system according to ISO 9001:2009. At the same time there are given recommendations for further improvement of the quality management system.

Gastronomic services quality evaluation

The thesis is focused on gastronomic services quality evaluation. The theoretical section characterizes gastronomy, its particularities and gives an overview of legal regulations covering this area. Furthermore, it explains the concept of quality, outlines the basic quality management systems, specifies the particularities of quality in gastronomic services and elucidates possible attitudes towards gastronomic services quality evaluation and recognition. The analytical section presents an analysis of the situation in the field of gastronomic services quality evaluation in Germany and in the Czech Republic and is focused on gastronomic guides, internet evaluation portals and restaurant databases. It also mentions the approach to the unified classification or quality standardization in this branch and introduces a short comparison of selected statistical indicators. The final part of the thesis proposes own simple system of catering establishment standardization and quality certification in the Czech Republic.

Passive houses - importance od certification and recovery of investment

In the present time, when prices of energy go up continually, we can hear more and more about the topic of energy-cutting. Important role in this sphere performs low-energy development. Passive houses, which are specific type of low energy houses, cut heat demand significantly. It means marked improvement with the view of energy saving, protection of the environment, but also quality of living. There is no doubt that these constructions bring numerous advantages, as evidenced by ever-growing number of passive houses abroad. Nevertheless, in the Czech Republic are very little passive houses. Partial intention of the thesis work is to highlight the importance of certification, which is able to contribute toward expansion of passive houses. The outcome of this part is proposal of the criteria for certification of passive houses in the Czech Republic. Principal aim of my diploma work is to compare passive house to common house in light of capital expenditures and operating costs and information about pay-off period of investment in low-energy buildings. Just matter of economic return is the most important criterion in decision making about construction of house or building.

Drug approval process efficiency

This diploma thesis focuses on drug approval efficiency. It is obvious that the drug approval process is lengthy and expensive. The question that arises is whether the length of the drug approval process, as well as associated costs, leads to better safety. The first part briefly summarizes the history of the drug regulation and the drug legislative in the Czech Republic. Also focuses on the theory of economic regulation and the theory of bureaucracy. The second part deals with the drug approval process for new drugs, describes preclinical and clinical testing in relation to the analysis of Sam Peltzman. The third part compares drug approval process in different markets. The last part summarizes off-label prescribing, especially in pediatric.

Electronic registries

This bachelor thesis deals with questions of electronic registries in the Czech Republic. The fundamental terms that we have to familiarize with to understand rightly all the aspects, which relate to the problem, are described in the first part. Special chapter is dedicated to the electronic signature. The second part is a summary of legislative norms closely associated with electronic administrative actions. In the third and the last part we deal with analysis and comparison of solutions for electronic registries that are offered in the market in the Czech Republic.

XML bezpečnost a její uplatnění v univerzitním informačním prostředí

XML security je komplexem bezpečnostních řešení, která spojují rysy XML a internetu k řešení bezpečnosti zejména v rozsáhlých počítačových sítích. XML security se velmi dynamicky rozvíjí, v současnosti jsou některé části (podpis, šifrování) již ve fázi konečného vývoje, jiné stále procházejí velmi rychlým vývojem, který je velmi obtížné sledovat. Hlavním cílem práce bylo kriticky zmapovat oblast XML security, popsat výhody, zápory i rizika proti jiným bezpečnostním řešením, a navrhnout některé možnosti použití v univerzitním informačním systému.

Příprava společnosti Fit logistics s.r.o. na certifikaci

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá různými oblastmi podnikové certifikace. V teoretické části popisuje druhy auditu, normy jakosti ISO, systém správné výrobní praxe GMP a systém kritických bodů HACCP. V praktické části se zabývá přípravou konkrétně vybraného podniku z praxe, společnosti Fit logistics s.r.o., Hradec Králové, na přijetí těchto norem, certifikaci v těchto oblastech a následné audity. Závěr je věnován porovnání externího auditu, systému řízení jakosti ISO a systému potravinářských norem GMP společně s HACCP v osmi stanovených kritériích, které představují základní charakteristiky těchto certifikací.

Ecolabelling in the Czech Republic

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem ecolabellingu. V teoretické části rozebírá tři systémy environmentálního značení používané v České republice, systém produktů ekologického zemědělství, systém ekologicky šetrných výrobků a systém lesní certifikace FSC. V analytické části porovnává tyto systémy na základě zvolených kritérií. Cílem práce je posouzení funkčnosti těchto systémů.

Použití digitálních certifikátů a razítek

Tato práce rozebírá situaci kolem digitálního podpisu. Shrnuje základní technické poznatky. Sumarizuje informace o certifikačních autoritách, jejich produktech a možnostech získání certifikátů. Dále přináší souhrn nejdůležitějších aplikací využívající digitálních certifikátů a elektronických razítek u orgánů veřejné správy a v komerčním sektoru. Práce se také snaží podchytit právní problematiku, zmapovat jednotlivé důležité zákony významné pro elektronický podpis. V závěru hodnotí zdary, nezdary a nastiňuje směry, kterými by se mohl vývoj ubírat.
