Changing attitudes of primary school pupils to integration after completing a two-month "Life with Disabilities" programme

Title: Changing attitudes of primary school pupils to integration after completing a two- month "Life with Disabilities" programme. Objective: The main aim of the thesis is to explore various possibilities of influencing primary school pupils attitudes to integration of a pupil with disabilities into physical education lessons. Method: Using the CAIPE - CZ and Adjective - Checklist questionnaires a qualitative- quantitative research has been applied to observe a change in primary school pupils' attitude to integration into the physical education lessons once a two-month "Life with Disabilities" programme was completed. A series of topical areas has been presented not only in health education lessons, but also in physical education lessons. The programme also included several sporting events taking place outside the school building and a Paralympic school day. A two-group quasi-experiment research group was formed by the 7th (headcount: 20; average age: 12) and 9th (headcount: 24; average age: 15) years of primary school. Results: The project activities have been carried out within the specified subjects both inside and outside the school building. Sport, health and physical self-concept of grammar school students

Title: Sport, health and physical self-concept of grammar school students Objectives: Main goal of this thesis was to analyze the relation to one's own body in youth at the age of 17. The research should analyze physical activities, physical self-concept and the health of grammar school students. These results were compared to data from 20 years ago. Methods: All the data presented in the empirical part of this thesis were obtained through a questionnaire survey among second year high school students. In total, 300 students, including 193 girls and 107 boys, took part in the survey. A standardized questionnaire was used and was taken from international research Sport, Health and Physical Concepts in Central and Eastern Europe (Mrázek, Fialová, Bychovskaja, 1998). The acquired data were recorded in writing, graphically processed and subsequently evaluated. Furthermore, the collected data were compared with the data presented in two diploma theses 20 years ago (Mešejdová, 1998), (Pavlíková, 199). Results: According to the data obtained, teenagers are aware of the influence sport and overall healthy lifestyle have on their health. Investigation of use of aerobics with music in physical education

Our bachelor thesis deals with finding out about the situation of using aerobic exercises in the courses of Physical Education on a sample of high schools in town of Tábor. The aim of the sersearch was the state and frequency of including aerobic forms of exercises during the courses of Physical Education. The research file, which is selected by author, was made of seventeen teachers of Physical Education from six high schools in Tábor choosed by with method of deliberate choice. Data collection was was implemented through inteview. The research results reveal that major the part of high schools include aerobic forms of exercises, and without the gender differences of the training groups. Frequency of including aerobic forms of exercises differs between schools and between girl groups and boy groups too. Work based on analysis of necessary documents pointed at the teachers of Physical Education compilance requirement of this documentes. Analysis-based work points to compliance with the requirements of the analyzed documents by physical education teachers.
The relationship of primary school children to physical activity

Name: The relationship of primary school children to physical activity Aim: The main aims of this bachelor thesis were to determine children's relationship to sport activities, to find out children's awareness concerning sport, and their most common and most popular leisure activities, and to describe content and course of physical education at school. Additionally to find out the teachers' opinion about children's physical fitness. Methods: 103 pupils aged from 6 to 12 years and 15 teachers participated in this empirical descriptive study. The survey was compiled from three groups which were dedicated to the sport awareness, physical education and leisure activities. Results: 65% of children are interested in physical activities, 82% of children devote to them, 82% of children intercut them with other activities, 37 % of children are engaged in the sport two days a week. The responses regarding the interests of individual sports are different. 80% of children can cope with physical education in duration of an hour. Sport games are the most favorite content of physical education (64%). 79% of teachers emphasized warming in their physical education lessons. Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education

Title: Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine and compare the emotional reactions of pupils during the sport lessons on secondary schools. We focus on the seventh and eighth graders, boys and girls at the age from twelve to fourteen. The goal is to statistically process and compare the results between the genders and between schools in urban and rural areas. Determine the reliability and internal consistency of the items from the individual factors in the selected DEMOR questionnaire. Evaluate the determined data in synoptic tables and graphs. Methods: The method of questioning was used in this work. To meet the objectives we analysed the responses obtained from the DEMOR questionnaire. Through this survey, it is possible to record the emotional reactions of the pupils and their perceptions of experiences they had to get information about the climate during physical education lessons. The survey was conducted on twelve secondary schools in rural and urban areas in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results indicate that, positive feelings prevail in current physical education classes. Title: Interest in Athletics and other activities for children aged 12 - 15 years. Objectives: To determine interest in athletics and other activities for children aged 12 to 15 years and to compare the responses of children from selected elementary schools and grammar schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to meet the objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two schools - Elementary School (ZS Jilovska) and Grammar School (Gymnázium Omska), of which neither one focuses on sports. Age group was between 12 to 15 years of age. Total of 359 questionnaires was collected. The main objective of the research was to determine the interest in sports and athletics beyond school physical education classes. In this study we investigated the activities in which children and young people engage in their leisure time; who motivates and supports them in sports, and how they relate to athletics. Results: The results showed that children and youth, despite the availability of today's modern techniques, are still interested in sports. Of the total number of 359 respondents, 23% of children chose sports as one of the leisure activities. Diploma thesis title: Opinions and Attitudes of Unsuccessfully Moving Younger School Age Children toward Physical Activities Aims (goals): The main aim of the diploma thesis was to state opinions and attitudes of unsuccessfully moving younger-school-age children toward physical activities. Another aim was to create an overview of terms regarding the movement failure in the theoretical part. Further aim was to compare the opinions and attitudes of so defined children toward the physical activities to results of Kaplan (2001) and Holický (2011) and to monitor anthropometric characteristics of observed files. Methodology: The work was developed by using the method of Kaplan's research (2011). The research identified unsuccessfully moving children using a motoric testing. With this procedure the files for the subsequent determination of the characteristics of the unsuccessfully moving children were defined. Then, two types of questionnaires were used to research the opinions and attitude of the children toward the physical activities. Results: The results revealed the unsuccessfully moving children do a physical activity three times a week and occasionally. Title: Using rhythmic gymnastics in school physical education Objective: The main objektive of this bachelor thesis is to find out level of use of gymnastic activities, particularly activities of rhythmic gymnastic, which is part of the RVP for different types of secondary schools in Prague. Methods: In this bachelor thesis has been using elektronic survey. This method was used to collect and evaluate necessary data. Results: School physical education uses elements of rhythmic gymnastics on secondary school in Prague. Teachers of physical education classified exercise with music and exercise with equipment to the school physical education. The inclusion of the rhythmical forms in physical education at primary school in České Budějovice

The aim of the graduation thesis was finding out the inclusion of dances and rhythmical forms in physical training lessons at primary school level. The research field was pupil´s relation to doing exercise accompanied by music. The resource file was 158 pupils of the second class of primary schools in České Budějovice. The research method was a questionnaire. The results file confirmed the presumption that the inclusion of rhythmical forms in physical education is not frequent, although the rhythmical forms are included in curriculum. The results were different in each school and even in each class. The research proved that only a half of pupils is a member of some physical, sport or dance interst group. This graduation thesis shortly reffered to the use of music accompaniment in education.
