Inclusion of children with physical disabilities in nursery school

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of inclusion of children with physical disabilities in pre- primary education. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge of the development and current state of common education of children in pre-primary facilities. The legislative framework for education of children with physical disabilities in the Czech Republic is analyzed. The specifics of education of children with physical disabilities and possibilities of their support in kindergarten are outlined. Attention is also paid to the requirements for the personality of a teacher or pedagogical assistant in an inclusive environment in interaction with children with physical disabilities. In the practical part, the methodological basis of empirical research is first defined, which consisted in processing a number of case studies of children with physical disabilities, which were included in pre-primary education in mainstream nursery schools. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with nursery school teachers and analysis of school documents and other documentation for individual children. Wattsenglish Method and its use in the pre-school education

The aim of the bachelor thesis will be to describe the popular Wattsenglish method and to examine how this method can be used for teaching English at kindergarten. The theoretical part of the thesis will have two parts. In the first part, the student will summarize the view of experts, on how foreign language teaching should look like in the kindergarten, what methods should be used, and what conditions have to be met to make sense teaching of the foreign language. In the second part, the student will introduce the Wattsenglish method to the reader and describe it in detail from various points of view, especially from the point of view of the aim and way of teaching language skills. In the practical part qualitative research will be carried out with kindergarten teachers, who use this method. A questionnaire or a structured interview will be used as a tool. In the second part of the empirical section, the student will reflect her own teaching using this method, especially from the point of view of whether this method is applicable in the Czech environment and what advantages or disadvantages it brings from the pupil or teacher perspective. In conclusion, student evaluates the Wattsenglish method in sense of the good practice of teaching English at pre-school age.
Use of the Test of Visual Perception in Dynamic Assessment

The subject of this thesis "Possibilities of a visual perception test within dynamic diagnos- tics" is to find out how is it possible to work with preschool children by dynamically ori- ented approach with Visual perception test. The thesis contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the foundations of dynamic diagnostics, development of children's visual perception and the possibilities of its diagnosis in the pre- school age. In the empirical part of the work are through case studies presented individual cases of children with whom research investigation was realised. The conclusion summa- ries the recommendations for the intervention phase of dynamic diagnostics using Visual perception test. Data were collected using participant observation, interviews with the chil- dren, product analysis and by standardised test.

TITLE: Analysis of impaired communication ability of children during the process of enrollment into regular elementary schools SUMMARY: The submitted rigorous work analyses and evaluates awareness of speech therapists, educators on ordinary primary schools, and educational - psychological consultants about the issue of impaired communication skills in children during the primary school enrolment. This theses is divided into two parts. The first part being the theory part covering the elaboration of specialised publications in the area of pedagogy and special pedagogy. The second part is empirical. It concentrates on analyses and evaluation of questionnaire research with the focus on children at primary school enrolment. It analyses the most common breached communication skill and further high-risk areas which occur in children at primary school enrolment the most. The Issue of School Readiness and its Diagnosis

Afterwards the school the theoretical definition of school readiness, its main features and instruments of diagnostics. The aim of the practical part is to outline the "complex diagnostics of school readiness" which could be used by the nursery school teacher. I also applied some of the diagnostic tests and methods of educational diagnostics. The theoretical part defines the preschool time and the first school period concerning the developmental Psychology. be a child able to do before entering the school. The outcome is a sort of "complex diagnostic of maturity and readiness is mentioned. The following part refers to methods of educational diagnostics and methods of school readiness assessment. The final part is focused on suspension of school attendance and its frequent causes. The practical part deals with 2 detailed case histories of preschool age children. These case histories include personal and family based anamnesis of the child, obtained mainly thanks to interviews with parents and teachers. In addition to that I also conducted participant observation. Education in preparatory classes

The thesis titled "Education in the preparatory classes", is focused on issues related to the opening of preparatory classes in the Central Region. Assessing school readiness and preparedness and describes the educational field for preschool age children. It includes analysis of rules that must be respected in the establishment and operation of preparatory classes in terms of legislation, education and training, on his terms, fillings and organizations. Research section clarifies the issue of opening preparatory classes in the district of Pribram and Benesov district. Compares the results of children from the preparatory classes and courses from pre-orienteering tests of school readiness. Assesses the benefits and risks of preparatory classes and preschool classes. The conclusion summarizes all the information and opinions.
