Title of diploma thesis: Intestinal microbiota and mood disorders The intestinal microbiom is composed mainly of two dominated strains - Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes. The other strains are just not numerous like the previous ones. The specimens have the invariable core of microbiom which doesn't change in time. Nevertheless they have also the transient gut bacteria, which change during their life. Intestinal microbiom is influenced by many factors. Between them we can categorize for example the way of the childbirth, the breast - feeding, the alimentation, the state of health, and the medicaments. Every specimen has own specific microbiom. It was found that human population is possible to divide into three intestinal groups or enterotypes. To each enterotype dominates different bacterial strain. It was proved that intestinal microbiom communicates with the brain and it works also vice versa. Emotional experience in patients with chronic renal failure

The diploma thesis deals with the emotional experience of patients with chronic renal failure. It aims to explore positive and negative emotional experiences, the presence of depressive and anxiety symptoms, the degree of anger and alexithymia in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis. The theoretical part summarizes previously published theoretical knowledge in this area and the empirical part describes the statistical measurement and comparison of selected variables of emotional experience in the research sample. The theoretical part is divided into 4 chapters, the first of them deals with the medical aspects of chronic renal failure and its treatment. The second chapter deals with the coping with illness, defines psychological aspects of chronic disease and describes the patient's subjective perception of the disease and attitudes towards the disease. The third chapter summarizes the definitions of emotions and emotional experience and defines the most respected theories of emotion. The fourth chapter describes the emotional experiences of illness, factors affecting the emotional experience of illness and deals with depression, anxiety, anger and alexithymia, at the end focuses on current research in this area. ABSTRACT: The main theme of this dissertation is the concept of freedom in the philosophy of Jean Paul Sarte and Søren Kierkegaard. The aim of this paper is to interpret freedom from the point of view of two representative existential thinkers in order to compare them. The dissertation strives to show that freedom does not have to be seen only as an ethical value but it can also be approached as a fundamental part of ourselves. Freedom is connected with the notion of existence, choice, anxiety, absurdity, paradox and responsibility. The first chapter is dedicated to the theme of existentialism in general. In the second chapter are examined Sartre's atheistic and ontological themes. In the third chapter is Sartre's freedom depicted in relation to the project and choice. The forth chapter concentrates on absolute concept of freedom in J. P. Sartre's philosophy. In the fifth chapter is Sartre's freedom put into relation with absolute responsibility. An inquiry into self-esteem within a given range of clients with anxiety disorders

The thesis focuses on the issue of self-esteem in clients diagnosed with anxiety disorders. While this condition belongs to the most common mental illnesses, the role of the patient's self-esteem has not been sufficiently researched. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the relation between anxiety and self-esteem, and to examine whether clients with so called Other Anxiety Disorder manifest specific differences in their level of self-esteem. In the theoretical part we summarize the key findings in the domain of anxiety disorder research; we further compare the different psychological approaches to the issue of self-esteem. There is a particular focus on authors who explore the possible causes and features of self-esteem deviations in patients with anxiety disorders, and who propose hypotheses regarding the nature and origins of this linkage. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the explicit and implicit self-esteem level in clients with anxiety disorder. For the purpose of measuring explicit self-esteem we have used foreign questionnaires, namely the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the SLSC-R. Anxiety an Fear at School

The objective of this thesis "Anxiety And Fear At School" is to further reasearch how and when teachers feel ready and able to recognize an anxious child at school and as well to be able to work with a child whose anxiety may be caused by a specific situation at school. The thesis researches school as a potential source of anxiety and fear and describes specific situations which may cause or contribute to this phenomenon. In addition, a current issue which is outlined in the text is pedagogical-psychological diagnostics and related diagnostic competence of teachers. Theoretical findings are supported by research conducted amongst teachers. Two case studies of students which have experienced fear and anxiety at school, connected to specific school situations are provided. These case studies observe the solutions in those situations, as well as the impact of the experience on the students in question. The education of teachers at universities in the field of pedagogical-psychological diagnosis can in certain cases be insufficient and sometimes can also be difficult to apply in real life situations. Teaching bilingual adolescents for whom English is a heritage language or who have lived in an Anglophone country, and who are studying in Czech secondary school English classrooms: the students' perspective

(in English) The present thesis explores the issue of teaching heritage language learners and returnee students in English as a foreign language (EFL) classes in Czech secondary schools. The aim of the thesis is to examine the experiences of heritage language learners and returnees in the EFL classroom, their strengths and weaknesses in English, their attitude towards English language learning in terms of potential anxiety and motivation, as well as heritage language learners' wishes in relation to language instruction. These issues are investigated from the perspective of the students themselves. The theoretical part reviews the relevant literature on heritage language acquisition and teaching, and on the effects of experience abroad on language acquisition. Moreover, it is complemented by discussions of differentiated instruction and language education for the gifted, two areas which can prove helpful in terms of finding suitable solutions to the problems encountered by the target population in foreign language classes. Psychohygiene in School and Application of Relaxation Techniques into the Teaching Process at Elementary School

This bachelor work is dealing with the question of psychohygiene in school and application of relaxation techniques into the teaching process at elementary schools. Mental hygiene here is primarily focused on the pupils. This work defines several basic terms regarding to the topic, for example: psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation techniques etc. Primary intention of this work is refer to the necessity to pursue greater attention to the psychohygiene of the pupils since elementary school, due to keeping their mental health in balance, learning how to relax, preventing mental problems, fatigue or exhaustion. Possible symptoms of mental unease of pupils and reasons why it is necessary to care about their mental health are stated in this work. Finally this work offers some relaxation techniques and practices. Part of this work is also suggestion of several relaxation techniques, which would be usable and suitable at school for integration into the educational process. Attachment and internet addiction

My bachelor thesis is concerned with attachment and internet addiction. Therefore it attempts to establish correlation between these two terms through four research questions. These questions focus on presence of both the attachment types and scores for dimension of avoidance and anxiety in terms of extent gravity of internet addiction either by respondents at risk of potential addiction problems or by respondents already showing some symptoms of addiction. Theoretical part deals with definition of the internet addiction, its division, diagnose and prevalence in the Czech Republic. There is also described the attachment in general and consequently types of the attachment occurring during childhood and adulthood are mentioned as well. There are foreign researches in the last chapter of the theoretical part describing relations between the attachment and the internet addiction. You can find methodology description of the research in the research part and there are also the results of gained data. Data collection was provided by the questionnaires at forums of online games. Studied group consisted of 236 respondents (91,2% men, 8,8% women), all of them playing online games.
