MEMS Technology for Tilt Sensing
Kopeček, Pavel ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Dlouhý, Jiří (advisor)
Recently we put more requirements on the equipment around us. And very often we need know, how hung angle-wise of equipment is. Measuring of tilt is very important and used for example in gaming consoles, mobile phone, medical purposes and other. Tilt is calculated per direction of gravity acceleration, it measures by accelerometers. Accelerometer is sensor, which exploit masses inertia to calculate of acceleration. Development put pressure to us and reason is miniaturizing of everything and there is possibility to use micro-electromechanical, so-called MEMS, accelerometers. At last time sensors made by MEMS technology replacing classical mechanic sensors, which is bigger, more power exacting and last time considerably more expensive. But parts makes by MEMS technology aren’t enough accurate for some applications. Despite it is by this principle manufactured much kinds of accelerometers with different technologies of manufacture and work on different principles. We try to compare two accelerometers from two competitive factories.
Test Methods for Evaluation of Radiation Effects in High Precision Analog and Mixed-Signal Devices for Space Applications
Hofman, Jiří ; PhD, Slawosz Uznanski, (referee) ; PhD, Simon Platt, (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The traditional radiation testing of space electronics has been used for more than fifty years to support the radiation hardness assurance. Its typical goal is to ensure reliable operation of the spacecraft in the harsh environment of space. This PhD research looks into the radiation testing from a different perspective; the goal is to develop radiation testing methods that are focused not only on the reliability of the components but also on a continuous radiation-induced degradation of their performance. Such data are crucial for the understanding of the impact of radiation on the measurement uncertainty of data acquisition systems onboard research space missions.
3D Scanning with Proximity Planar Scanner
Simulation of the chlorine concentration in the water-supply network
Rajnochová, Markéta ; Biela, Renata (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on simulation of the concentration of free chlorine in the water supply network of the village of Kateřinice. For the simulation, the EPANET 2.0 software tool was used for construction of a mathematical simulation model for the existing water supply network of the village. Subsequently, the model was calibrated and verified on the basis of data obtained from the measurement of water quality in the distribution network. The aim was to calibrate the simulation model of water quality so as to best simulate the concentration of free chlorine in all areas of the village’s water supply network. Also, the optimal dose of chlorine for the village was determined using the model. Furthermore, in the bachelor thesis it was examined if controlled flushing has an impact on the rate of decay of free chlorine.
Creation of Multimedial Control System in Linux
Minář, Michal ; Konečný, Jiří (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis summarizes problems concerning the creation of multimedia system, selection of its hardware and software components, its inclusion into bigger system and provides advices leading to their solution. At the same time it describes implementation of such existing system.
Sensor of condensed moisture
Krejčí, Jakub ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with measuring condensed moisture in constructions using measuring moisture porosity material. Market research was performed and were made sensors own construction based on capacity principle and their attributes were measured. In this thesis is also described method, which is used for calibration for conditions in building constructions causing condensation of water.
Calibration management of gauge
Šmétka, Miroslav ; Doňarová, Jana (referee) ; Koška, Petr (advisor)
This thesis solves procedures of the management of the calibration laboratory to prove agreement of calibration results in specified types of gauges. These are gauge blocks (Johansson gauge), vernier height gauge, deformation manometer pressure and torque spanner. Furthermore designs documentation in accord with metrological confirmation. These are mainly calibration procedures of these gauges and procedures of definition measurement uncertainly and interpretation of results. Completed procedures of calibration are processed as attachment to this thesis with graphic design like as in experimental technician institute of ground forces.
Assessing the time changes of calibration characteristics of current meters
Sedlák, Daniel ; Kocman, Tomáš (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
Diploma’s thesis is focused on analysis of the time changes of calibration characteristics independent type of current-meters, processing by the calibration data and their evaluation and subsequent comparison with related research. This thesis describes the proces of calibration of current-meters.
Temperature measurement in reactor VVER 440
Virgl, Martin ; Katovský, Karel (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
The main goal of this work is to get acquainted with the issues of temperature measurement and signal digitization in the theoretical level and temperature measurement in the VVER 440 reactor and on inseparable parts of the main circulation loops of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant and signal processing of temperature sensors. The measurement of temperatures in the power plant reactor is focused mainly on the used temperature sensors, A / D converters and a description of the systems processing these outputs. Furthermore, the work analyzes the data obtained during the calibration of temperature sensors in the isothermal state and the measurement of the resistance thermometer and thermocouple in laboratory conditions.
Human hearing sensitivity assesment
Tinka, Dominik ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
Bachelor thesis aims to evaluate changes of sensitive human hearing through created mobile application. According to obtained teoretical knowledges mobile application provide audiometrical measurements. In connection with this is described adjustments of sound outcomes of mobile, which is set in pursuance of calibrate unit. In the next part is described methodics of measuring and processing measured data. Static evaluation is processed on collected measured data from one proband and group of probands. Measurements on one proband were repeated for couple of days. The end of this thesis discusses about obtained results, which challenges the hypothes about sensitivity of hearing.
