Blood pressure monitor
Kučera, Michal ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and realization of a prototype of non-invasive blood pressure monitor based on the principle of Korotkoff sound detection. The design compares this method of measuring blood pressure with other methods. This design of an automated measuring system, which is controlled by a microprocessor, utilizes the scanning of Korotkoff sounds with an electret microphone placed in the cuff. The microphone signal is then amplified, filtered and adjusted for evaluation. The prototype uses processor-controlled inflation by the compressor and deflation of the cuff by a valve that is open without applied voltage.

Curvature correction of the BandGap reference output voltage
Žeravík, František ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a Brokaw BandGap reference, a BandGap reference in a simple CMOS process, as well as the respective compensation circuits for correcting the curvature of the output voltage. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is mainly on describing the temperature dependency of the UBE voltage of the bipolar transistor and understanding the principle of the elementary BandGap reference. Based on these findings, the function and design of both BandGap references for an output voltage of 1.5 V are described. In the second part, the thesis focuses on describing various methods for correcting the curvature of the output voltage. Based on these methods, the first-order BandGap references supplemented with compensation circuits are designed. In the conclusion, the resulting parameters of the designed BandGap references without correction and with a compensation circuit are summarized and compared.

Design of ultra-low current consumption precise voltage reference in 180 nm BiCMOS technology
Varhaník, Jiří ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of noise and accuracy of integrated circuits for temperature stable reference voltage sources. It also describes the individual noise sources. In the first part of the thesis, three variants for the implementation of the voltage reference were tested, with a summary of the achieved parameters. The second part of the diploma thesis deals with the design of the switching reference, including source and control signals. The results of the work are presenting simulated waveforms with a specified accuracy at low circuit consumption.

Design of the system for the carbon composite conductive layers of the L-39NG aircraft testing and the optimization of the conductive material
Diplomová práce představuje návrh automatické měřicí stanice sloužící k měření a testování elektrických vlastností kompozitních vzorků vyráběných společností AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE as.

Accumulator three phase converter
Mikulka, Martin ; Háze, Jiří
The paper presents description of design of a voltage converter and a 3-phase inverter with smart LCD controller. The LCD control terminal communicates via proprietary CAN interface. The final converter can supply a 3-phase output voltage with a selectable waveform, but primarily a harmonic sinusoidal (user configurable via terminal). The inverter will have an adjustable voltage (sinusoidal amplitude) in a certain range which is configured by user via control terminal also. It provides the possibility of a small correction of the output frequency and phase shift so that it can generate, for example, a two-phase 120 V grid and others.

The topic of this work is the design of a voltage converter and a 3-phase inverter. The final converter will be able to supply a 3-phase output voltage with a selectable waveform, but primarily a harmonic sinusoidal. The inverter will have an adjustable voltage (sinusoidal amplitude) in a certain range, as well as the possibility of a small correction of the output frequency and phase shift so that it is possible to generate, for example, a two-phase 120 grid or other, test course.

Design and fabrication of the multimeter
Daněk, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and build a multimeter. Firstly, multimeters, their history and basic parameters are described, followed by an analysis of existing solutions with a similar topic. Next, theory of measurement of basic electrical quantities is described and the first prototype is proposed. Finally, the first prototype is evaluated, necessary adjustments applied, and the final prototype is proposed and evaluated.

Design of anti-aliasing filter for discrete-time delta-sigma modulators
Vogel, Vojtěch ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
This work deals with the design of a second order anti-aliasing filter with a cutoff frequency in the order of hundreds of kHz using the switched capacitor technique. The use of this technique allows the design of accurate and tunable analog circuits without the use of resistors. In this work, the design of analog switches is described. Furthermore, the various circuits required for the design of the filter in the onsemi I3T80 technology are proposed.
