Title: Motor skills and obesity in children Objectives: The aim of this work is to gain theoretical knowledge about obesity, physical activities and to show positive impact of physical activities on children's weight. Consequently thanks to this gained knowledge create a physical program for a kid with obesity which will result into loss of weight of the kid with obesity. Hypotheses: 1. Not regulating gain of energy with spending of energy will result into gain of weight. 2. Under influnce of physical aktivity there is a positive gain of weight of a person. Methods: Information, data and findings of chosen issue were found with the help of recherche of specialised literature of czech and foreign publications according to key word in the title and in the text. Further information were gained from specialised articles, internet sources and other available publication. One of the criterion of that was also the author's expertness of the subject. Another included criterion was obesity, prevention of obesity and physical of children, on the other hand, the adults obesity wasn't included. This work was created based on the analysis and comparisson of collected data, which were apllied in the creation of the program for a obese kid. Specific exercise program (HIIT) and its effect on body composition in men and women
Mocik, Antonín ; Kinkorová, Ivana (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: Specific exercise program (HIIT) and its influence on body composition in men and women. Objective: The main objective of the study was to analyze changes of body composition in men and women, who completed a three-month exercise program. Methods: The work has the character of an empirical research, where the main method is observation. At the beginning of the research, the group consisted of 15 men and 15 women. The research was completed by 11 men and 11 women. The observed group were attending lessons based on HIIT method in fitness center Balance Club Brumlovka. For the input and output data (body height, body weight and parametres of body composition) were used a digital altimeter and bioelectrical impedance InBody 770. The resulting values were assessed using a paired t-test (statistical significance) and Cohen-d (substantive significance). Results: The result of the study is that during the specific three-month exercise program occured differences in anthropometric parameters (body weight) and parameters of body composition. The most significant differences in both men and women were the decrease of average weight (kg), the decrease of total body fat (%) and the increase of total body water (%) and fat free mass (kg). Key words: Anthropometry, body composition, bioelectric impedance,...
Common characteristics of calisthenics as a relatively new sport and gymnastics
Jeřábková, Ladislava ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Novotná, Viléma (referee)
Title: Common characteristics of calisthenics as a relatively new sport and gymnastics Purposes: Based on literary research and own experiences profile the penetration between gymnastics and calisthenics as a relatively new sport. Find out the views of trainers and racers in calisthenics on the use of gymnastics training for this new sport through the questionnaire survey and design a structured movement program for beginners using selected blocks of gymnastic motor-functional training. Methods: This diploma thesis is of non-experimental character. To obtain the necessary data were used methods of literature research, observation method and especially questionnaire method, which was applied to a group of 55 respondents. Data were processed in Excel into graphs. Results: The conclusions of the questionnaire survey were presented in the form of well-arranged graphs and testify about the interest of calisthenics trainers and competitors in gymnastic training. The proposed structured motion program is based on the conclusions of the literary research and own experience. It draws mainly on selected blocks from gymnastic motor- functional training and in each of the selected blocks are presented demonstration exercises with description and photo documentation. Key words: Calisthenics, gymnastics,...
Regulatory measures for influencing aerobic fitness of middle-aged women
Králová, Kateřina ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Čechovská, Irena (referee)
Title Regime intervention to influence aerobic fitness level of middle age women Objective The aim of the work is to evaluate the effect of two-month physical intervention on the aerobic fitness level of middle-aged women and the influence of this intervention on the change of the body composition of individual study participants. Methods The tested group consisted of 5 middle-aged women with a sedentary occupation and no regular physical activity. The evaluation of their aerobic fitness and body composition was performed before the start of the intervention. These values were compared to the results of the same tests after the intervention. The values of VO2max measured before and after the intervention were used for the evaluation of aerobic fitness. The regression equation, based on the results of 2 km walking test (part of the UNIFITTEST 6-60), was used for the calculation of VO2max. The methods of bioimpedance (using the portable device Body stat 1500) and anthropometric measurement (body high, weight, circuits) were used for determination of body composition - mainly % FFM and% BF. The physical intervention itself was focused on walking for two months period. The form was used for monitoring of intervention individual exercise units. The group of middle-aged women performed the prescribed...

Kubaň, Antonín ; Novotná, Viléma (advisor) ; Miklánková, Ludmila (referee) ; Blahutková, Marie (referee)
Summary: Title: Creation and verification of effectivness of our new ''Music-based physical educational (MBPE) programme for pre-school children" The main aim of this research is to create and validate a comprehensive interventional programme for preschool children. The programme is aimed at all- round personal development of the children. The research also intends to validate applicability of the programme in practice as it aims to establish the impact of the programme on rhytmical, motor, sensor-motor, musical and memory skills of preschool children. The research also aims to clearly define conditions under which the programme can be performed as it focuses on the support of a preschool child's natural kinetic, sensor-motor, musical and rhythmical competencies with the stress on personal health and hygiene. The results of this thesis are based on the author's self-produced resources and both qualitative and quantitative research results. The quantitative research used a test battery of musical-motor skills. The thesis consolidates results of our observations, observations by teachers and parents throughout the school year, interviews with children, expert analysis of videos, discussion with experts in pedagogy and child's psychology. The results ascertain that our music-based physical educational...
Design and verification of the intervention yoga program for children of the 5th grade of primary school
KLIMEŠOVÁ, Eva
This bachelor thesis in the theoretical part deals generally with yoga itself, further with the yogic exercises that we can practice with children. The next chapter in this work describes children themselves and how they should ideally evolve in different directions. The last chapter of the theoretical part consists of an interventional movement program. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to verify whether yoga can influence the dexterity of children. The practical part was carried out on the pupils of the fifth grade of primary school. The program lasted 12 weeks and included 12 children. At the beginning, in its course and at the end of the program we made measurements in the form of Lüscher's test, Standing Stork test and Thomayer's test. Based on the findings and the results of the participants I concluded that yoga can really affect not only the dexterity of children, but also their mental state. All the children in the experiment group were able to complete the Thomayer´s test successfully after the 9th lesson. In the Standing Stork test the children managed to extend their performance for over as many as 20 seconds during the whole yoga program. Four of the participants even succeeded in standing in the position for the whole minute, after which the test was ended.

Trpková, Jana ; Uhlířová, Jaromíra (advisor) ; Krulová, Anna (referee)
OF BACHELOR THESIS Name: Jana Trpková Title of bachelor thesis: Developmental Movement program according to Veronika Sherborne and its use in occupational therapy This Bachelor's thesis is concerned with the topic of a movement programme called Developmental Movement according to Veronika Sherborne and its usage in occupational therapy. This programme is a very effective method focused on the advancement of movement, emotion, senses and reasoning, and is usually applied to children. Unfortunatelly, the programme is rarely used or heard-of in the Czech Republic, and that is why this thesis largely draws on information from international literature, as well as from the book written by the author of this programme herself. The goal of the thesis is first and foremost to familiarize the reader with the Developmental Movement and therefore raise the awareness of its existence among members of academia as well as the general public. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides basic information about the Developmental Movement programme and its author and puts forth the basic goals of the method, the division of certain exercises, the basic principles of the programme and the characteristic of the diagnoses this programme is primarily concerned with. The...
