Investment in development of human capital

The subjekt of this thesis is human capital, investment options in its development and subsequent use in practice. The paper is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes human capital, investment in human capital and company training (which is a form of human capital development). The practical part analyzes internal environment of the company. It is also carried out a survey to determine how employees perceive the company's current state education system focused on the development of their human capital. The aim of this work is define human capital, describe investment options in its development, summarize theoretical knowledge on the topic of corporate education and then verify their validity in practice. 1 ABSTRACT The work deals in general with the acquisition and keeping of the necessary knowledge and skills needed for work in an industrial company with a high degree of automation of production operations. Attention is focused mainly on the issue of the entry level acquired at school and subsequently personnel development in lifelong learning. At the same time, the issue of determining career paths and competence matrices, on which the need for educational measures is based, is also taken into account. Evaluation of Training Effectiveness of FOXCONN, s.r.o. company

This thesis deals with the practical aspects of corporate training with the main focus on assessment and measurement of its outputs and effectiveness. The theoretical part introduces to the reader the concepts of corporate education and professional development as well as with their current trends. Next chapters describe the methods of analyzing educational needs and defining development goals. Moreover, various models of assessing the training effectiveness are presented. The application part of this thesis consists of empirical research conducted in the FOXCONN corporation. The purpose of this research was to evaluate training effectiveness of two types of trainings, using Kirkpatrick and Brinkerhoff models, and to address current issues of corporate education and propose solutions to them.
Analysis of employee care in czech telecom company

The aim of the thesis is analysis of employee care in czech telecom company, evaluation of the preferences of benefits based on gender and age and propose steps to improve the current system. The theoretical part describes the various components of employee care, which are the basis for the practical part. In the practical part is the knowledge applied to a particular telecom company. A part of the analysis is a questionnaire, whose aim is to determine employee satisfaction with the system and determine the benefits that emloyees prefer. In conclusion, there is a recommendation of steps that would lead to better efficiecy and satisfaction of all employees.

Educational needs analysis (research)

Graduation theses considers training needs analysis at concrete company's call center. Analysis goal is to find out reason of insuficient service in areas concerning company education. The theses mentions exploring key areas and formulize key question of research, which is what employees know about education. Taking decision aboute qualitative type of research and data acquisiton method, such as questionnaire, observation and document analysis, follows. Collected data are transcribed and encoded to allowed deeper analysis. Theses proofs that level of knowing between the employees is not sufficient and homogenous. Suggested action plan concern immediate change of communication and following education structure and long term recommendation, which is need of new, proper and complex analysis. Theses describes regular procedure advised by technical literature as well as true experience including changes forced by call center operating.
Internal coaching

This thesis is dealing with internal coaching programmes in organizations. It bases on the theory of coaching method, coaching models and its forms and it describes the process of coaching dialogues. It also confronts coaching with psychotherapy and talks about the role of a coach and requirements for his expertise in the methodology. The thesis is describing internal coaching programmes in general and include specific examples from practice. They talk about reasons and advantages of internal coaching compared to the external. A part of this is a model of internal coaching programme for the environment of a law firm. The model is showing the possible connection of internal coaching with the existing in-company processes and the concept of key competencies of an organization. The thesis is not only following the existing internal coaching models, it is also evaluating them and outlining possible potential of internal coaching programmes in companies.
Employees Training and Development in the Company

The bachelor thesis is focused on empolyee training and development in the company. First basic concepts of this topic are defined as personnel management, human capital, corporate training as well as the identification of training and its ways. Subsequently there are various methods of training described and training plans and their evaluation depicted. The practical part of work is based on a characteristics of the current education system in the company and on its basis improvements are recommended. The characteristics has been prepared on the basis of semi-structured interviews with marketing specialist and CEO of the company and the interpretation of the questionnaire about the need for training and satisfaction with him, who filled the staff.
Analysis of Business Education in the Banking Sector

Bachelor thesis titled "The Analysis of Business Education in the Banking Sector" is focused on the analysis of education in selected banking institution with a focus on educational forms and methods. The survey research was conducted in Komerční banka, a.s.. The theoretical part describes company education with definition of specifics, rules and principles for emloyee education. There is a description of strategic approach to employees along with company education system, which is focused on phases of the training cycle. The thesis deals with characteristic forms and methods of education with the pros and cons of selected methods. The practical part is aimed at banking institution education system analysis. Exploration methods are semi-structured interview with internal trainers of KB and heads of department sub School Branches KB, observation of Basic seminar for bank advisor of KB with describing practiced methods and forms of education, analysis of scientific literature and materials provided by KB. The thesis conclusions suggest proposals to improve the functioning and effectiveness of education in KB.
