The role of the book in evolution of the children's imagination

The master thesis deals with the importance of the book in evolution of the children's imagination. The first part includes short introduction to problems of children's imagination. The second part is engaged in ontogeny of child from prenatal period to the middle childhood and in progress of key competences. It analyzes selected psychological approaches, which had the imagination as a subject of the research. The thesis explains and defines basic terms and processes of the imagination. It deals with a specific phenomenon of the children's imagination and with the evolution of the imagination. The third part introduces typical children's literature, directs on the traditional fairytale and it specifies problems of the literary characters too. It describes the historical development of the Czech book illustration, importance of the illustration in books for children and it also describes children's drawings. The fourth part applies all of previous pieces of knowledges into the work experience in kindergarten. It also describes relations between child and school or child and book. The final part of the master thesis includes summary of the information. [Author's abstract].

Tato práce je vícevrstevným zamyšlením nad tématem prázdnoty. Její prvotní inspirací jsou Bondyho úvahy na toto téma. Nejde o to, ukazovat na neukazatelné, či popisovat nepopsatelné, to by byla spíše filosofická statistika; prázdnota je tu primárně chápána spíše na způsob krajního horizontu, jehož bytostné připuštění zakládá možnost pravého setkání podobném smyslu uvažuje nad souvislostí prázdnoty a milosti a otevírá možnost chápat prázdnotu nikoliv jako axiologickou neurčenost, ale právě jako horizont zvláštního setkání se světem. Takto nahlížená prázdnota otevírá bytostnou plnost a zároveň braných souvislostí těchto myšlenek o mezích ontologie - Plótínovou koncepcí emanační ontologie, či se substanční ontologií ze Spinozovy Protože se v průběhu tohoto rozboru dostává do popředí problém statického a předsudečného chápání ontologické substance (která takové vlastnosti nemůže mít, vyjdeme jako krajního ontologického horizontu), otevírá se otázka původu tohoto problému; v Myšlení vnějšku) a Berďajevem následuje hodnocení možnosti ontologii, což je přeneseně otevření otázky vztahu moci a ontologie či prolínání mocenského hlediska do ontologické úvahy (prázdnota by v yslu představovala zřeknutí se moci). Imaginary friend

This work deals with the phenomenon of imaginary companions that occurs in some preschool children. Its aim is to look into this issue, bring it closer and highlight its diversity. The theoretical part deals with the developmental specifics of the pre-school period, the game in general with a focus on symbolic play. In the context of the symbolic game, it is specifically the phenomenon of the imaginary companion. In the practical part, based on the analysis of interviews, the thesis tries to point out topics that are common to more imaginary companions, as well as those that are rather exceptional.
Ceramics and educational benefits for preschool children.

The bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring the development of the creativity of pre-school age children. The thesis is conceived as theoretically - empirical. The aim of the thesis is to determine how the creativity and the fantasy of the pre-school children develops, depending on the systematic work with ceramic clay. It also aims to find out the possibilities of using the work with ceramic clay, verifies its educational gains and benefits from this art activity in pre-school children. The theoretical part deals with the contemporary view of creativity, the development of the child in relation to creativity, the use of the Framework Educational Program of pre-school education in visual arts activities and the familiarization with project teaching and project creation. The empirical part then aims at examining how creativity develops in pre-school children, depending on the systematic work with ceramic clay, and how this activity has further educational benefits. For this purpose, an art project for preschool children is developed and evaluated. In the research part, interviews with the respondents involved in the project, which map the possibilities of using the work with ceramic clay, are evaluated.
Author children's picture book

Selection of several authors I am try to explain past and present trends in the children and children's authors book. Didactic part is mainly focuse on the status of the book in the context with art lessons and not only in the motivation part of the lesson, but also in topic of lesson. Both principles are use in the didactic project, which was built on the theoretical content of the work. Mysterious creatures

Explore pictures of supernatural beings and other creatures which could be found in current visualizations of Fantasy genres, computer games, illustrations and films. Study and categorize visual and written materials, follow these fantastic creatures, how they look like and how the appearance of them changes through time. Track the source of the appearance by comparing modern sources and older pictures and also by studying old myths and legends. Research what inspiration how impacted the process of creating new concepts. Study and define terms such as imagination and fantasy. Through scientific research, try to map how the children imagine fantastic creatures and from what pictures and text their images come from. What do children find scary? Commented translation: Selected poems by S. T. Coleridge

The aim of the thesis is to present a new translation and a translatological analysis of four selected poems by the English Romantic poet Samuel Taylore Coleridge, i.e. Dejection: An Ode, The Nightingale, Frost at Midnight, and Love. The analysis is based on the presented translation and on the previous translations of the same texts by Václav Renč (first published in 1965) and Zdeněk Hron (published in 1999). The thesis is divided into the translation and three following parts. The first part covers the understanding of the texts and the philological problems that might impede it. There is also a description of semantic differences between individual translations. These differences originate in diverse interpretations of the texts by their translators and in inadequate choices of Czech equivalents. The second part consists of my own interpretation of the poems which is based on Coleridge's concept of Imagination and Fancy described in his Biographia Literaria. The third part deals with the problems that arouse from the attempt to translate the poems into Czech, which is mainly the matter of Czech iambic verse.
