Tato práce se zabývá jevem imaginárních společníků, který se vyskytuje u některých dětí předškolního věku. Jejím cílem je nahlédnutí do této problematiky, její přiblížení a poukázání na její rozmanitost. Teoretická část se věnuje vývojovým specifikům předškolního období, hře obecně se zaměřením na hru symbolickou. V rámci symbolické hry pak konkrétně na jev imaginárního společníka. V praktické části se práce na základě analýzy rozhovorů snaží poukázat na témata, která jsou společná pro více imaginárních společníků, stejně jako na ta, která jsou spíše výjimečná. This work deals with the phenomenon of imaginary companions that occurs in some preschool children. Its aim is to look into this issue, bring it closer and highlight its diversity. The theoretical part deals with the developmental specifics of the pre-school period, the game in general with a focus on symbolic play. In the context of the symbolic game, it is specifically the phenomenon of the imaginary companion. In the practical part, based on the analysis of interviews, the thesis tries to point out topics that are common to more imaginary companions, as well as those that are rather exceptional.
