Dining in Kindergartens

The aim of the thesis is to find out how dining is carried out in preschools, what is the organization in various preschools like and how it does contribute to meeting the goals of preschool education. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of goals of preschool educational objectives as they are defined in the Framework educational program for preschool education, educational strategies in preschools, eating and dining possibilities in terms of fulfilling the educational goals, legislative conditions for eating and dining in a kindergarten, etiquette of dining, educating preschool children at it and developing the skills and habits necessary for eating and dining. The practical part contains an analysis of how a kindergarten solves dining habits and the way in which children are led.
Specifics of business negotiations in China

This thesis aims to provide complex view of business negotiations with Chinese partners, particularly with regard to intercultural differences and characteristics of business protocol. The thesis is divided into four chapters, focused on China as a territory, distinctions in culture and business, as well as selected business dealings between Czech and Chinese company. Knowledge of Chinese "game rules" and sufficient preparation are two essential preconditions for long-term success in the Chinese scene.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to characterise the Malaysian culture and its impact on a business meeting with a Malaysian partner. The first chapter deals with the general characteristics of Malaysia, it gives information about geography, residents, language, climate, political system and political situation, symbols of the country, membership in international organisations and economic situation in the country. The second chapter analyses Malaysian culture, it is specifically dedicated to religion, art, the most important feasts, Malaysian cuisine, the main tourist attractions and cultural dimensions according to Geert Hofstede. The third chapter is about preparation and course of a business meeting and about business etiquette.
Eating habits and the specifics of gastronomy in selected Asian countries

The thesis analyzise and introduce the eating habits and the specifics of gastronomy in Japan and South Korea. The aim of the thesis is to compare individual cultures and describe the differences between European and Asian gastronomy. The first section of the thesis is focused on the theoretical part of the tourism industry and the definitions. The second section describes the Japanese and Korean culture, their eating habits, etiquette, individul dishes.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the individual diplomatic protocols of the Czech Republic and the USA and their social and business etiquette. It focuses on the theoretical terms connected to the topic and explains the functions of the protocol offices of the Czech Republic and the USA as well as the order of precedence in these two countries. Furthermore, the following work broadens etiquette knowledge and illustrates the differences between the etiquettes of the two above-mentioned countries on the basis of the selected rules such as social advantage, addressing, social events, clothing and so on.

The Master's Thesis on "The History of Diplomatic Protocol with the Emphasis on French Influence on Diplomatic Protocol and New Cultural Influences on Today's Diplomatic Protocol" aims at introducing the topic of History of Diplomatic protocol and is further elaborating on the topic in terms of various influences on Diplomacy and Diplomatic protocol. The purpose was to show that the evolution of the practices, protocols and etiquette is a gradual process of change. Nowadays we live in the world strongly influenced by the European tradition that mainly comes from France. However, the changing world and process of globalization makes it easier for people to interact, share their values and spread their ideas.
French business and diplomatic protocol

The aim of my master thesis was to specify the business and diplomatic protocol in France and answer several questions that I defined. Are there any differences between the facts that we read in books and guides about French business and diplomatic protocol, and the reality? Can we generalize French business protocol and say that it is valid for all sectors and generations of managers? Can we claim that French diplomatic protocol is valid all the time and every single president sticks to it? The first chapter explains all the key terms - protocol, business protocol, diplomatic protocol, business negotiation, etiquette. The second chapter focuses on French business protocol, especially organization and course of business negotiation, dress code and gift-giving etiquette, and finally characterizes a typical French company. The third chapter focuses on French diplomatic protocol, especially on all aspects conserning ambassadors in France. The fourth chapter represents the practical part and gives several practical examples of French business and diplomatic protocol. This part is based on four qualitative conversations with four experts on this domain.

This thesis is concerned with the problems of social standards and etiquette. The purpose of this thesis is to provide the most important information that will consequently help the reader with his orientation in complicated problems of the social life, especially in the business field. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first part briefly introduces the issue of social standards and also social concepts relativ to social deviation. The other part is concerned with etiquette, both it's history and basic rules, and a special attention is paid to the business etiquette The theoretical parts are enriched by practical examples of foreign customs and their comparison. There are also results of an empirical research attached. The research explores the knowledge of the "everyday etiquette" by the grammar school students.
Analysis of the role of etiquette in business dealings in the selected company

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the role of social behavior and its compliance with the rules of etiquette in business in the selected company. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts. It also deals with important elements during a business meeting such as introductions, handshakes or handovering of business cards. It explains the correct procedures in distance communication and dress code in business. The aim of the practical part is to recommend measures to improve the situation in the company based on a comparison of internal procedures in the selected company with the rules of etiquette and a questionnaire evaluation.
The influence of media on the development of etiquette in the CZ

The main target of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the influence of media on the development of etiquette in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part concerns with etiquette and its development. The second part explains basic issues related to the influence of media. The third part analyses the influence of particular media types on the development of etiquette or the level of manner of speech and concerns also with the influence of the political milieu on the level of etiquette in the Czech Republic. The thesis also consists of a survey on a topic of influence of media on the development of etiquette.
